I was wondering if there is any newer ROM update after the official 1.93? The 1.93 ROM has been available for many months now and it seems that there should be something newer and hopefully better. Please post a reply if you are aware of anything, thanks.
ROM updates....
v1.93 is the latest official release from HTC. Some mobile operators have released newer versions (vodafone UK, for example v1.97). HTC have a new one on the way, but no official release date yet, or details of which version it will be... we will all wait with baited breath!

The people working on the AKU 3.2 betas are enthousiastic hobbyists, not neccessarily working for HTC or Microsoft. Aside from this please note that the Universal officially is EndOfLine. Is is very UNLIKELY that we will see any new roms from either HTC or the various resellers/OEMS. My hunch is that we should consider ourselves lucky that we even have this AKU3.2 beta at all
1.30.76 was also the latest I-mate official release ,BTW u didn't mentioned ur HTC is of which brand O2,Imate,Orange,T-mobile etc....
Just taken delivery of a new QTEK V1640 - and the ROM version is 1.30.93 if that helps

U can check on Qtek websites as which is there official released ROM or else u can update it to ne beta version available here on this forum.
It was said official wm6.0 is ready for download on HTC australia site, anyboday can try to see it?

Looks like they are delaying the release...
Just got off the phone with Dopod Philippines. They said the release will be delayed until August or September as they have been having problems with the Dopod Test rom

pies... its being released by HTC this week... that must be the non-WWE versions...
After the initial flurry of ROMs direct from HTC has anyone got any idea on when the next one is planned or do they just do it as and when......
i've read something about a 1.98.xxx ROM on this forum

maybe they think is not broken..so they don't need to fix it yet
i hope that 2.0 rom will make a lot of changes, espacially in speed.
I am hoping that HTC put in a time machine into the diamond so then we can all go into the future and download the amazing splenderific v10 rom with builtin kitchen sink!

I don't understand this. 1.93 has been available for weeks and various regional versions have been incorporated into many different cooked ROMS. What is the source of this post as it does sound like old news to me..

No, this is the same 1.93 ROM that's been out for weeks. I'm afraid it's nothing new.

Because different versions are launched world wide, and i'm looking for ones that don't have operater modifications. Being in Australia and having a Telstra Diamond limits me to a download of only the 1.3X version of the ROM which is a load of crap if you ask me...now how many different variations of WWE ROMs are there in the different countries? Like a bajillion isnt there? I just want a clean, unmodified version of some rom that isn't telstra...and i'm already running the 1.93 HK WWE ROM, but i know for the 3 network here in Aus there is a 1.96 version but alas! it's filled with 3's marketing ****...i don't want this! So yes. i'm sure you can see what i'm looking for here.

I'm looking for a current rom update for my US version Unlocked HTC Touch Diamond. Every search brings up responses that are from last year, or before. Where do I find a current search for my phone?
Is there a ROM upgrade available for my phone from this year 2009.
