Short answer, you can't. It is a hardware limitation, not anything to do with the ROM, and you are unlikely to find a hardware mod anyware.
A simple search of the forums would have given you the same answer as i just gave aswell....

I am trying to get my jasjar to work on the Cingular WCDMA network - has anyone managed to get this to work yet??

will not currently work in the us. Jasjar uses 2100 band like in europe and Cingular I think is using 1900 band
