new marble world 2 g sensor game workking fine on the hd released.
get the demo here http://www.4pockets.com/cabdownload.php?p=108
Fine but only in VGA.
Anyway I dont like the game much... Teeter and resco bubbles seems working more accurate with g sensor than this (imho).

Hey
ive played no games for about 2 weeks. Today i just wanted to play solitare and i realized that the screen resolution is very small... alle the cards are smaller than before. I tested some other games and there are also bad screen resolutions
In some games there are three-quarter black and only in one edge corner you can see the small game...
My Desire is rooted with Leedroid 2.3e.
what could i do against it?
thx
You cant do anything, the desire has a wvga resolution, so if a game or app is made for a diff resolution (hvga, qvga, wqvga, vga) it wont display in full screen ......

But before it was in the right resolution. Hqvent seen sth like thaht before
noone has an idea?
Coming from FruitPhone world, a lot of the Gameloft games used the fantastic gyroscopic controls, just bought Modern Combat HD from the market place and there are no options to use it, I'm sure the SGS2 has gyroscope functions, why, what, if and how...
Very disappointing used to love the gyro controls, so much quicker and more realistic.
a lot of games use the gyroscope or accelerometer for control. all the gameloft hd racing games do, the emulators do as well, just apparently the gameloft hd action games don't. i also have modern combat, brothers in arms and splinter cell and i would love to use the gyroscope as well, because with the left thumb on the analog stick to move and the other thumb for looking around, it's hard to get a third finger on the display for shooting.
If u want to play a nice gyroscope shooter i recommend NOVA HD also from Gameloft.
Edit:Just tried it and it works really nice as soon as you get used to it. Hope i helped you out a bit.
Yes just download the free version through the Gamehub, works a treat with the gyro, so much faster to aim, love it...
So why have Gameloft not introduced the gyro to there other First Person games ?
Racing games actually use accelerometer and nova is the only one using gyro. One stinking game in 3 months.

just want to write down some observations from using these two phones. they are becoming cheap unlocked bargains now so hopefully it'll help someone out there. I grabbed a dell venue pro a few weeks ago. Previously have been using LG quantum as main device.
I'm a keyboard guy. Say what you will but I will challenge anyone on soft keyboard to a type out. So when I chose my WP phone on att network it was not much of a fight.
down to venue pro vs LG quantum. 3 things in particular set them apart. 1, portrait vs landscape keyboard. 2, screen. 3, signal reception.
Keyboard: it has as much to do with MSFT as phone makers. Landscape keyboards are much more comfortable to type but WP simply sucks at supporting them. Dont tell me it is app writer's fault: i had to turn my head sideways to type user name and password in the os more than once. quantum has direction keys but again the use is limited by the os, as you cannot navigate menu with them. Moreover, the caps lock and fn keys on quantum are not backlit and are too shallow. venue pro keys, while smaller, have more contour and good travel. I do sometimes hit the back/home/search buttons when typing and touching though. overall I say venue pro keyboard is more useful, though not really better.
Screen: smaller LCD vs larger amoled. I gotta say the pentile gets on my nerves. If you are as impatient as I am and zoom in a lot as a webpage is loading, you might not like the venue pro screen. The amoled is not readable until the phone finally re-renders the zoomed text. Honestly i think the quantum screen looks sharper more true to color, while venue pro's larger size screen make reading and handwriting a bit easier.
Signals: the bane of quantum. Signal reception sucks--cellular or GPS. The GPS is almost unuseable.
Other things:
the biggest problem I have with venue pro is video playback--very choppy regardless whether the content is streaming or local.
Camera performance on venue pro is also pretty bad.
There is a slight pause when you wake up venue pro
venue pro's gorilla glass is very nice to touch.
Quantum's volume, power and camera buttons are way way too flush. hard to use.
Quantum speakers sound better to me.
Not sure why but generally I get the feeling that quantum run identical apps slightly faster.
Battery life on quantum is slightly better. Part of the reason is the LCD is brighter at medium than venue pro's amoled at high.
HTC 7 Pro beats them both. Sprint calls it the HTC Arrive. The smaller carriers like US Cellular use the 7 Pro name.
It's like the LG Quantum, except with a slightly larger screen that tilts up. Same drawbacks, though (tilting head sideways when certain apps and the main screen won't flip to landscape).
Signal seems a lot better, though, particularly WiFi (Quantum has an EXTREMELY WEAK WiFi radio).
Then again, since AT&T is your carrier, the 7 Pro is not an option for you (or me either...I bought my brother-in-law an HTC Arrive for Christmas, as he uses Sprint).
I agree completely with the 7pro. Too bad it never made to the GSM networks.
Portrain Slider > Landscape Slider for me.
The DVP uses an SD card for storage. Not sure what the Quantum uses, but if it's NAND, that can be why the DVP performs worse.
ANd yes, the DVP's camera is embarassing.

Hi everyone. I had a Xperia z but sold it and got the smaller Xperia zl because of personal preference. However I have noticed a few potential flaws with this phone . First of all the back of the phone gets pretty hot whenever I play games Like Real Racing 3 etc, it has even shut itself off on one occasion.
My main issue with the phone is That the touchscreen is pretty unresponsive during gameplay. The screen is very responsive during normal usage, for example navigating the home screen or browsing the web, The phone is able to register even the slightest of touches. But during gameplay I have to tap on the screen with extra force to steer in Real Racing 3 or whenever I am playing games via the Drastic DS emulator, the on screen directional pads dont register my taps upless i tap pretty hard or press the buttons with a slight swiping motion. i am worried because I got this phone for gaming and really don't want to get rid of it. Could it be the screen protector thats installed? or that the touch screen isn't calibrated?
also sometimes when i try to navigate between home pages by swiping, the screen bounces back instead of going to its intended target. i have the model c6506. and its on android 4.2.2 and also i never had any such issues with the xperia z
maybe its the screen protector. other possibility is that its the games' problem, not the phone. as u say, its good when on home screen etc.
iam inclined towards second possibility though, its the game which is problematic.
hit thanks if i helped u!

Ok i downloaded super stick golf 2 and tried it and guess what, the touch screen is very responsive, that game uses mostly taps, and this registers the slightest taps. I am gonna test some more games and see if your theory is right.
ok tested some more games
Tested simpsons tapout and had the same issue with taps not being registered properly
Tested Dead Trigger and the game runs flawlessly, the slightest taps were registered
Tested Beach Buggy Blitz and the screen is slightly unresponsive also, kinda difficult to steer, i have to apply extra pressure to the touch screen.
Ultimate Mortal Kombat works flawlessly, i was pulling off combos and brutalities with ease
Jetpack Joyride was a bit unresponsive also
So I guess the problem varies from app to app. I really dont want to remove the screen protector but i have to to ensure that I dont have a faulty device. I have an extra screen protector so as soon as I can verify that its the screen protector, i will simply re-install it. now how do i go about removing it because i am trying but it seems glued on!
gonna sell this

OK its definitely not the phones touch screen, i just did some tests and the touchscreen is absolutely responsive in every aspect of the operating system except when playing some games. So the digitizer is great. so it must be the darn screen protector!, and i dont want to remove it because it is glued on and i dont want to risk damaging the screen underneath. my favourite games are the ones giving problems with responsiveness. Even the ppsspp emulator from the playstore i gotta swipe the directional pads etc for the game to respond.
I dont think screen protector was the culprit, the app itself is not optimize for sony device or sony OS is not that stable.

as per my understanding, ur screen is flawless, its the apps, maybe they are not optimised.
more tests done
ok I can confirm its definitely the apps, some of them are are optimized properly for the xperia zl. I have tested need for speed most wanted (2012) and it works flawlessly, controls are spot on and screen very responsive. Also raven sword 2 and pvz works great. its a minor issue at best really but i cant play my psp or nds games on my zl properly unless i use a controller. which is fine cause i do have a huge 5 inch 1080p display. and I really love this phone so i will overlook this issue. for now
Hy, I open this threat because I wandering what you guys prefer to play on this magic phone.
At this moment I trying to find a way to play Dead Space....You?

I had first bought a OnePlus One. Then I tried Google Cardboard and immediately switched to a G3.
Google Cardboard games are perfect with the G3.
If you haven't seen it yet, Cardboard is a cheap-ass VR headset (made out of... you guessed it! Cardboard!!). You'll need to get one of the bigger ones due to the big screen of the G3 (the one I have works, but it cuts off parts of the display on some of the SBS (side by side) 3d videos on YouTube and in some of the Playstore's VR apps.
The OnePlus has 1080 display, which I thought would have been plenty, but Cardboard basically uses magnifying glasses for lenses, so with 1080, it doesn't look as great as you'd think. However the G3's display is so awesome that it is perfect for it.
Google cardboard is something that I never seen before. Ty for this post. Looks very interesting...
