I want me 3G conection back!
grrr
I don't think Blue Angel doesn't has the right bt profile for that to work.
I seem to remember that it would need 'Dial up networking client' profile, but it only has 'Dial up Networking Server'.
Himalaya and Alpine has both.

this is a problem with our bt stack, that not support BT dial up modem

are there any workarounds, hacks, flashes, or programs that will allow this?
The Blue Angle buletooth have some bugs. I tried to swap another BT Engine/patch but it will disconnect in a large volume of traffic. You can find another BT Engine/Patch in the forum to test.

Is there a way to use the VOIP hack to enable service on the new @home t-mobile network? I know the VOIP works with standard SIP services but is there a way to make it work on this new network?
nope, tmo uses a different protocol that basically tunnels GSM through the WIFI connection.
I use http://www.tivi.com/ for making VOIP calls, its free and i can call any SIP number, it workes perfectly with T-mobile Dash... you just need a WIFI connection...
Hello... I have an Herm200 (HTC TyTN) (Dopod 838Pro) (Softbank X01HT). But i have a problem using VoIP on GPRS...
I can use Windows Mobile 6´s VoIP integrated software (the one you posted in some other forum) while i´m in WiFi, but when i connect through my GPRS (3G) connection, once i dial a number i can hear the telephone to which i´m calling ringing, but i can´t hear neither the ring tone on my phone, nor the other´s person voice, and the same happens to the person in the other end... they can´t listen to me nor i can listen to them...
Is it because my carrier blocked the system? I´m using Vodafone Spain! Is there any carrier in Spain that didn´t block VoIp calling???
Thank you very much for your help!
Ricardo
Hey all,
I was wondering how many guys here have voip enabled (SIP account) on their mobile. And are you leaving your pda on the whole day/night or not? Because when voip over wifi is enabled, when you power off your device you don't have any wifi anymore so it don't make sense to have voip (excpet for calling out).
I have my voip also for incomming calls.
Grtz,
Hi,
I had the native VOIP support enabled (separate cab) on my previous rom (Black Satin WM6.0), but now I installed the italian "Parabola" rom and I didn't install the voip yet.
I remember that there is an utility like "advanced configuration" that enables you to chose to mantain wifi on also when the screen is switched off in standby mode. I used that because on outcoming call after XX second the system went in standby, the wifi disconnected and I lost the call.. very annoying. After the trick everything was ok!
But I never used the phone as incoming VOIP call.. just for test one time because I use a softphone on my notebook.
Ciao ;-)
When I tether to my phone to get on the internet with my notebook, it works fine until someone calls my cell. Is there some way to disable incoming calls...aside from forwarding my calls to another number? Or, I've got a Motorola Q9c that was replaced by another device...is it possible to simply enter my info ([email protected]) into the connection information and tether with that?
BTW, this is on a Titan with a cooked ROM, functioning GPS and 3.42.50 radio on Verizon.
Thanks!
