i have a htcp3300
but im facing a problem
when start my htc
it shows me htc logo
and then suddenly it shows white screen
If you had plug a SD card Over 2Gb, it's normal, the P3300 don't support le SDHC card, you must patch your WM5--6 with a SD HC patch, after you can ust it...

***A bit of a warning to SDHC card users***
I've got my 6 Gb San Disk SDHC card (£35!) working a treat in Mescle's 3.01 lite rom but today I had a bit of a high blood pressure moment...
I was trying to reflash the rom and my device would not go into boot loader - just kept coming up with a white screen, didn't matter if it was boot loader from a ruu or manual via the buttons. I have now sussed this and my BP is back to normal. When you enter boot loader it looks for the SD card and obv. in boot loader mode it doesn't like the SDHC card type so just hangs! Remove the card and you can get into boot loader straight away.
So here's the tip - if you want to flash your device remove the SDHC card first.
Cheers
Alex
Thanx for the info, it has been noticed before. It's in the 6GB SDHC Thread. I had the same problem and realised it was the sdhc card. Usually it's recommended to flash roms without sd-card inserted.
dont most (if not ALL) rom cookers specifically say in their posts that in order to cook their rom, any SDHC card has to be removed first? i am sure i've read the warning in at least two of those posts.
some days ago, my artemis froze. when i reached home, i flashed a rom from the bootloader screen, but nothing changed. the phone began to boot, but was freezing on the same green screen with Windows mobile. the next day i had a surprise : the phone started, but only without the sd card (2gb). i put the card back, tried again, and encountered the same problem: it froze on the windows green screen
any ideas? pls!
Looks like SD card problem
I would try and format the SD card which seems to be the problem. If you have another SD card to hand you could always try that and clean the contacts on both card and phone.
thanks a lot
I got a problem with my htc p3300
My phone hangs randomly when I have the sim card insterted, It does not hang or reboot when only SD card inserted.
I use the Ooops Black Rom
I love the Ooops Black Rom and have used it for a while, I didn't have this problem in the beginning.
Could it be hardware or is it software releated?
Thanxs a million
Sorry if this problem has been reported or discussed here before ... the search engine is down so couldn't search thru the forums for similar problems.
In a nutshell - SD card shows blank every time I swipe and activate my screen from inactive screen.
Details ...
I have a T-Mobile unrooted/unlocked GN2 and recently everytime I unlock my screen my SD card shows up blank. Unable to read any files/play music. I was using a 32gb sandisk hc microsd card. It worked on and off, randomly and finally stopped altogether saying damaged SD card. But when I plugged/mounted it in my pc I was able to recover the files without any issue. But regardless I purchased a brand new SD card 64gb this time and started using it, no problem up until after a week. So right after I hit the power button to screen lock and immediately after reactivating my phone and waking my screen ... it shows blank SD card and not reading it... please help
Hello, i bought an M8 and apparently sdcards dont work on this phone. I tried 3 cards: Kingstom 32Gb HC I / Kingstom 16Gb HC I and a Sandisk 16Gb HC 4.
Problem:
If i boot the phone with any sdcard inserted the phone just gets stuck in android / htc boot letters, and reboot after 30seconds.
If i insert the Kingstom 32Gb or the Sandisk 16Gb with the OS started the phone dont recognize the card and dont give any message, but with the Sandisk 16Gb HC4 e receive this message "sdcard removed" 5 or 6 times and nothing happens after.
What i tried:
- factory reset
- installed a custom ROM (viperONE)
- installed stock ROM
- safemode boot
I did not format the cards because i dont have a desktop card reader, but at least Kingstom 32Gb is new, so i think it comes by default formated and ready for devices.
Anything else i cant try? Thank you!
