run step 1. Drop Flash.img.cmd (drop Flash.img on Drop Flash.img.cmd)
run step 2. PKTool.cmd
look in the C:\VGA-GPS\SYS Folder, and delete Folder SampeMusik
run the next steps, and create a G710.NEW.IMG for Flash

I have flashed my vda with my new image successfull but now i can not start any settings in my vda. When i would like to set my clock or anythink an error comes like this: "Fehler Einstellungen konnten nicht geöffnet werden."

But the rom is still not working (Not possible to change options)

auch D, Du hast auch das Problem mit dem ROM dass keine Einstellungen im vda verändert werden können ? , sonst funktioniert alles gut.
Bei der Beta2 von powerbyte kann ich die Einstellungen verändern, nur leider gehen die Ringtones nicht.

Ja, bei mir sieht es genau so aus.
Werde mal versuchen, ob man der Beta2 die fehlenden sachen aus der "finalen" Version von powerbyte einfügen kann. Evtl. hilft auch ein weiteres entfernen von dateien aus der Version von Powerbyte, da die Größe auch ohne samplemusic noch grenzwertig ist.
@Powerbyte, vielleicht hast du ja mittlerweile auch eine lauffähige Version.

die idee mit dem schrumpfen hatte ich auch schon weil ich dachet er hätte keinen Platz mehr die Konfiguration zu schreiben, hab das img bis auf 44MB verkleinert, hat aber nichts gebracht.

Step 3. remove for example all other Language Files and TelmapNav.exe do not remove German 0407 and English 0409 Files

O² IIs/ O² III/ HTC Blue Angle Sound Bug

I need help with my O² IIs; if I don't use it for a while (one to 20 seconds) the sound always turns off and I can't navigate or use the phone. The sound also cannot be set to a level (loud/quiet), because the adjuster hang down on quiet.
vielleicht versteht jemand hier meine Muttersrpache:
ich habe ein Problem mit meinem O² IIs-PDA: Immer wenn ich einen Augenblick warte (in der Regel nur einige Sekunden), schaltet sich der Ton immer wieder automatisch aus-> Er schaltet sich aber nicht nur aus, sondern blockiert auch die restliche Bedienung des PDAs. Wenn ich den Ton nun wieder aufdrehen möchte, springt der Regler immer wieder nach unten; die Lautestärkeverwaltung flackert, und mann kann in der Regel nicht bestätigen. ich hoffe, Ihr könnt mir helfen...

according to the forum rules, users are not allowed to post in any other language than english outside the threads that are in other languages already, like the german rom threads. since this is a question about the german rom, it could have been posted there and will probably be moved there.
grundsaetzlich sind nicht englisch-sprachige posts im forum unerwuenscht. zumal es sich um ein problem mit der deutschen rom handelt, waere es angebracht gewesen, dort zu posten
das kann im grunde nur 3 ursachen haben:
1. recht unwahrscheinlich: dein touch screen ist nicht richtig ausgerichtet, einfach mal nachjustieren ueber die einstellungen
2. sound wird auch vom radio rom geregelt, evtl ist da beim flashen was schief gelaufen, z.b. sim karte oder sd karte im geraet vergessen, und dann kann sich das radio schon mal verabschieden.
3. und am wahrscheinlichsten: der laustaerke regler an der linken seite des geraets hat einen schaden und moechte immer runterregeln, das wuerde dann erklaeren, wieso das geraet nichts anderes mehr akzeptiert, weil ja schon permanent eine taste gedrueckt wird und natuerlich auch, wieso der ton weg ist. einfach mal geraet oeffen und sich die ecke anschauen und ggf reinigen.

I'm a beginner in flashing or installing wm os; I destroyed my father's PDA by trying an update to Win mobile os 5.4. In the Internet, the original O² OS could`t be found. I tried everything half a year to get it work and realized now, that windows xp ist my best friend using updates/ upgrades. Then I found 6.5.5 - It works
1.) So: Thank you for your solution. I try open and clean it.
2.) The memorycard was outside the PDA
3.) what is a radio rom?

the radio rom:
you might have realized that during the booting process, there are 3 numbers, R, G, D
R shows you the radio version currently installed. D: shows the OS rom, meaning the rom you flashed, WM6.5.5 the file you flashed is named nk.nbf and the radio rom would be named radio_.nbf and the flashing process is exactly the same.
ok, but what does it do?
the radio rom handles all the hardware related things, meaning the OS rom uses drivers and the radio rom to actually handle the device, the GSM, GPRS, Wi-Fi, bluetooth, camera, sound, microphone...

sometimes it works well (no sound problem)...
I've got Radio rom 1.12.00 should I upgrade it to 1.15.00?

radio roms are generally not included in the roms here. but after downloading a radio, the process of flashing is the same, remove the sim and sd card, put the device into bootloader mode, flash using maupgradeut_noid, after flashing, perform a hard reset, pressing power+reset and camera+record and in the menu set No Yes Yes.
and yes, you might want to upgrade the radio, the 1.15.00 is the newest version and seems to work great for most people including myself.

i flashed my PDA and the Radio rom, but I cannot get out of the bootoptions mode. The OS only starts if i take a soft reset

sorry, i did't read your tutorial, but the mail button doesn't work

on a device with broken mail button, you have to connect to the device using mtty (in the wiki). for that connection you have to put the device into bootloader mode, connect the device, start mtty, set it to usb or wceusb, whichever is provided, 115200, 8,1,no,none,none, hit ok and then it connects. press enter and it should show a prompt
USB>
type (not copy & paste), type:
task 28
task 0
then your device should hard reset and then restart, if it doesn't, just soft reset.
i just wanted to verify the 2 lines, but unfortunately, the wiki seems down atm. you should wait till tomorrow then.

HTC Desire....what a joke!

Right,here we go....this is what I had installed on my previously working mobile, I debranded it from Orange,and this exe caused me to have to pay for an unlock code:-

I today made the mistake of updating OTA to the Froyo OS
Now my phone is useless
It reboots every 2 minutes,theres no signal/network,no wifi,no nothing,it is FUBAR!
I've tried EVERY fix ie downgrade of HBOOT etc etc
However, my phone has remained on HBOOT 0.80 and nothing more,the rest of my phone details are as follows:
Android version 2.2
Baseband version 32.36.00.28u_4.06.00.02_2
Kernel version 2.6.29-0cb9f166 ([email protected] #1
Build number 2.09.405.8 cl218634
Software number 2.09.405.8
What the hell is wrong with it? I have no insurance so I really need help!
Oh, my SD Card doesn't show up neither otherwise I'd have created a new gold card!!!!

Best bet is to grab a Goldcard of some desire or just a normal card and try rerooting from scratch, wiping everything on the phone and then starting again,
if you can get into recovery and use recovery-windows.bat you should be able to wipe it quite nicely

I think, I have read somewhere that Froyo requires a 5.xx.xx.xx baseband... Anyway it's worth a try!

Nothing.... remember you have done things your phone is not setup to deal with. You bought a branded phone and therefore it is expecting branded updates etc. This is like buying a car, fitting a turbo-charger then complaining to the manufacturer when it stops working...
Anyway rather than rewriting this, try this

Basically,FroYo requires a 2.6.32 kernel and a 5.xxx radio.I believe that once you get those it'll work.But still,strangely enough,they should all have been updated with the OTA...Well,I do believe there is something wrong!Most probably it's what jameson_uk said.

A goldcard during the OTA would have solved the problem. Heres a how-to-fix-it from a swiss forum. Its german but google translate should solve that:
1.
Sucht und ladet euch das Tool: GoldCardTool-0.0.5
2.
Sichert eure persönlichen Dateien von der Speicherkarte (Kartenleser am Laptop oder Rechner) und formatiert die Speicherkarte im Rechner (Fat32)
3.
Karte ins Handy und starten. Dann das Handy an den Rechner anschließen und warten bis die tolle "System Prozess reagiert nicht" Meldung kommt. Klickt auf Warten.
4.
Nun erscheint die Abfrage, für welchen Zweck die Karte sein soll. Klickt auf "HTC Sync" und führt möglichst schnell danach das o.g. Tool aus. Klickt dazu auf "GetCID".
5.
Nicht verzagen, wenn die CID nicht gleich beim ersten mal gelesen werden kann. Bei mir hat es auch mehrere Versuche gekostet. Falls es nicht beim ersten Mal klappt, versucht es weiter bis es geht. (Punkt 3 und 4 wiederholt ausführen)
6.
Wenn ihr die CID habt, klickt auf den Link darunter und lasst euch das Goldcard image via E-Mail zuschicken.
7.
Nun packt ihr die Karte wieder in den Rechner (Tool nicht vorher schließen !!!). Der Rechner erkennt die Karte und fügt sie in das Dropdown Menu ein (ansonsten "Refresh" klicken).
8.
Klickt auf "Load GoldCard Image" und sucht die Datei, die ihr per Mail bekommen habt.
9.
Klickt nun auf "Patch MMC" und ihr habt die ersehnte GoldCard
So, danach gehts wie folgt weiter:
10. Update (wenn nicht mehr vorhanden) von folgendem Link downloaden und als update.zip auf SD-Karte kopieren:

11. Karte wieder ins Gerät
12. Handy starten mit Druck auf Volume down und Power gleichzeitig, dann:
- "Recovery" auswählen und warten bis der Bildschirm mit dem roten Dreieck kommt
- "Volume up" und Power gleichzeitig drücken
- "Install update from update.zip" wählen
Dauert ein wenig, danach kommt die Meldung das man Reboot wählen soll. Also mit Power den Punkt Reboot bestätigen.
Handy startet einige Male neu, ohne wirklich Reaktion zu zeigen (auch auftretende Install-Balken ändern sich nicht wirklich), also bitte mal mind. 10 min zeit nehmen.

First of all, sorry for claiming here on this board but I really need Your Help. I am on a businesstrip outside the country and I switched off my DHD in the plane and it doesen't come up anymore. It's starting saying htc on the white background.....than htc quietly brilliant.....than htc Desire HD.....tthan it's vibrating short and the home-menu-back-search buttons lighting up.....after that the screen for entering the sim-pin does not apeer....it's starting reboot..again and again
It's not a battery issue cause when I go in clockword and wipeing reflashing everything is going through but it's not starting up
After 5-10 wipes it sometimes let me enter the sim pin but is going down after it and is in reboot mode again.
It's urgent becouse I have a wife and children and I am not reachable on my phone.
Hope someone can help me

I did full wipe reinstall over cwm does not help

Is it possible that a file named PD98IMG.zip - is steel on your SD card main directory?
I had a similar problem and was from the forgoten file in the SDcard - I connected the SDcard directly with the computer and i delited the PD98IMG.zip - the next reboot was normal.

Also....
Lade Dir
ROM 10.1
und
GAPPS
runter.
Gehe in 4ext recovery rein und wipe alles.
Danach auch noch Format all (exept SD card)/ alles ausser SD carte.
Installiere Beides (ROM & GAPPS) und starte DHD neu.
Bei mir hat es so gefunzt!

down.
Go purely in 4ext recovery and wipe everything.
Then also format all (exept SD card) / everything except SD carte.
install (ROM & gapps) and start new DHD.

habe mir die files mal runtergezogen.....muss jetzt nur noch nen adapter für microSD auftreiben damit ich die vcards/bilder etc. sichern und die beiden zip files auf das DHD bekomme.
Hast anschliessend auf ein anderes custom rom geswitched oder bist auf diesem 10.1 geblieben???

Battery bei "normalen" gebrauch ca. 28std.!
Kein FC! Keine probs mit Apps.
Warum brauchst Du ein Adapter?Wenn Du DHD am PC hast und in recovery gehst(4ext) hast du ein menü für verbindung"toggle usb storage"!
Da kannst du deine SD als Festplatte benutzen und Deine sachen sichern und ROM+GAPPS DIREKT auf die SD zihen!
Oder meinst Du den USB-Kabel?! Dann war mein Komment überflüssig!

Mein Htc One X ging aus und startete automatisch. Jedoch nur bis zu " htc quietly brilliant" und danach geht es wieder aus. Und das wiederholt sich ständig. Wenn ich VOL down + Powertaste drücke komme in den bootloader, aber ich kann dort nichts machen, weil mein Handy sich selbstständig macht, den Hboot aussucht und sofort wieder aus geht. Da das Handy ständig an und aus geht ist der Akku leer. Und wenn ich dann in den bootloader will steht da " failed to open usb master mode"

Firs start the phone in bootloader with volume down and power button and after this connect to the computer.

i cant. the akku dont charge because it going on and off all the time. and if i'm in the bootloader my HOX goes in sec off..

OK take from some battery case and connect put on your hox then you will have free USB port and charging battery in the same time
