How to install:

I don't ask for a Kitchen (Tool), but only a "guide" with witch Tools you used and maye special parameters for iPaq for integrate other softwares in this firmware.

There was some trouble with initflashfiles in the kitchen,you should think how to solve it

Kitchen ? Is there a kitchen that works for iPaq nbf's ?
I have tryed with imgfs and ER2003Edit .... but i think i'm wrong.
Please help me to start

any significant changes in speed? compare with original ROM (WM5)from iPaq? I was using hx4700 with WM5 ROM, but it's running very slow... so I down-grade back to WM2KSE...

it's good sound...let's download it and i'll let you know. is it only .nbf file or containing hpRUU executable file also?

when i load the rom load tools it says Rom error invalid for device or designed for a later device.

How you measure the perfomarmance? Can you provide the results please.
As I know form russian forum (http://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=42699&st=0)
you even do not have hp4700 to test this ROM .

I mananged to load it on, good work though but some suggestions removing the today themes and some other pointless help files could free some space for other things.

Works allright for me. It's a bit of a shame that you removed NavPoint. As it turns out, I used it more than I thought. Good ROM, though.

G-R-E-A-T work. After soft reset it starts faster almost twice time! (Before 47 sec. and now 27 sec.! (Lite build 110607). Keep on it.

Thanks for this ROM, I just installed it, now re-installing my software again.
So far it feels great

Arabic on your P3600

Hello All. How many people are interested in having Arabic on their P3600? I have just bought a program that will install arabic onto your P3600. The file is just less than 5 Mb in size. I know this program works as one of my friends bought my unlocked SPV M700 off me and installed this arabic program onto it, and it works fine.

so i interessted

ok, will try and upload it to rapidshare today. What I will say is that it's best to install it from your memory card, and also do a clean storage on your P3600 first. I tried installing it intially and it crashed, causing me to reinstall my ROM. however with no other external programs installed, it installed without a problem.

hi,
there are many problems with you .cab:
- no access to the programs through the start menu
- the items are written from left to right are not connected.
with those major issues I can't make more tests...
I have P3600 with Faman 4.03 version in french maybe I must install the .cab in an english version?

I'm not sure what's causing your problem is to be honest. I have an Orange SPV M700. When I first installed the cab file, it crashed and I had to reinstall my original orange rom. Once I had done that, I then installed the .cab file from my storage file, and it installed without a problem. I then installed my Navigon GPS software and that work fine as well, with the coordinates in arabic when I have the english with arabic support selected. One program that doesn't work with it is the HTC home plugin which is what I believe caused my original installation crash.
When I sold my friend my other SPV M700 I had upgraded the Rom to the Dopod WM6. the Arabic cab file was then installed onto that without a problem as well. Maybe it only works over an english version, I don't know to be honest.
My guess would be to install the cab file onto the rom without any external programs being installed and and then reinstall each program one by one to see which ones work ok and which ones don't.
I will upload some photos of it when I get back home later to show you it on my M700.

Yes, it works fine for me, and works fine when english with arabic support is enabled.

It works very well in my Trinity. A big thanks for this great program.

Imate Ultimate ROMs

Hi,
iMate ultimate devices ROM are locked. Since I threw out the box (with the unlock code) a long time ago, I am looking to cook a 6.1 ROM for my device.
I would be thankful for any beginner pointers ...

i downloaded i-mate's latest ROM update from www.imate.com, but i unlocked my extrom when i installed my call and sms blocker app a few weeks back. now when i try to run the rom update exe, it's just stucked up on "Checking for driver ... " and forever running without anything happening.
does anyone of the "xda gurus" out here knows a workaround how to go about upgrading an i-mate unlocked rom? my 6150 is WM6.0 and my main problem now is that my phone is hanging after more than 4 minutes of incoming or outgoing call, that's why i want to upgrade to WM6.1 hoping it would make some change
any suggestion and or advice is heartily welcome. thanx

I think you should hard-reset your device before you upgrade it with new ROM.

Manging on 'Checking for Driver'
I have the same problem. I've flashed a lot of phones and this ROM Update is a failure. I asked for help from i-Mate and they could not assist. This happens under Vista or XP and this is with a brand new phone direct from Mobile Planet. (unlocked of course)
Would appreciate it if there were any suggestions that anyone might help with.

searching for driver problem
Good day but the problem with the searching for drivers is a pc issue i use to have that problem went to a friend who is using vista and it flashed then when i try my laptop it would not recognize it still so what i did was installing windows xp professional afresh and that solved the problem

ive already upgraded my Ultimate 8150 to wm6.1 and im quite satisfied with the speed, it increased a little, and as for the other updates....disappointed!
with regards to your problems, have you checked your activesync connection? should be synchronized. then check if after you hard reset, i forgot how to hard reset manually, i think its holding the power, ok and reset or power, cam, and reset...you can also do it automatically using the reset to factory setting..

by d way, anyone here knows how to UNHIDE/UNLOCK the extension ROM of Ultimates? specifically 8150? have tried to unhide it using htc methods but no success....suggestions?

HELP ME......the attach screenshots might i dentify the problem
anyways in detail....SIM is not working, Wireless manger sometime hans up, most of the time i cant see the dial pad (but when i do...it says "Unknown SIM Erroronly emergeny calls can be made without a PIN")

Hey Guys iam pretty new at this so bear with me please...have a couple of questions:
1) where i could get a WM 6.1 ROM for the Asus P527...
2) I see a lot of custom made ROM's on the site....are these only for specific models or can they be used by any phone with a similar hardware

I tried this ROM. It is constantly getting frozen after calls, more of this, button press being cached and can be processed, and get frozen again. As a result, it happened several times that I dialed numbers by mistake and could not stop it, so I had to reset body with stylus.
Manila. Not flexible, soft keys overrides system soft keys and are not flexible (you can not see "Notifications" by left soft key as default.
Not clean enough, too many stuff from Asus etc.

I've not translated AGPS to Spanish, because I'm not sure if it works in Trinity.
Don't try to record a voice note in Footprints (huellas) because it doesn't work.

I don't really know about all of them. But you have some examples here:
Iolite_aGPSConfirmation. Our Trinity doesn't have this option.
Iolite_AudioBooster. It seems to work, but no. It's not posible select the button. Without this software we lose a link in the Music tab.
Iolite_VoiceRecorder. You can record voice but it isn't posible stop record.
Iolite_PhoneCanvas. When you switch on your PPC, it makes an auto redial.

I can see you use a French version: ROM: French CV93+Oggi_Build: 21014.1.6.0_Manila2D_VistaElegance
I sent an e-amail to Oggi, talking about the new manila. I'm waiting for his answer. Every time is more difficult porting things from other devices.
I've seen and tried several ROMs, not only for Trinity, if not for other devices, and many things don't work properly or just don't work.
This is quite difficult, so I need some help. I can't give soport to several devices and several language at the same time.
Now, the consumption is around 70%. Maybe more if I can finish it.
I don't know anything about a new calendar. For the moment I'm using WM6.1

We do not work on Iolite but wm 6.5 beta we also have battery leak
Chhom and is not for adpter trinity.very hard work ...
We work over many other small bugs too.
XIP and sys very very hard to adapte for trinity.

Nikitto, the rom is awesome, all those apps are just what anyone needs in a rom. But still... touch flo eats away all my ram, it's never under 85% full while running touch flo, which obviously allows me to do nothing else. Is there any fix for that? or should I loose the touch flo?
