Hi everybody, recently be posted a FM radio QVGA like Diamond in this post:

But dont work in our Artemis, this is because the last versions of FM radio works with dll (Polaris works with FMS.dll and Diamond works with FMS.dll and FMS_api.dll, for example) and our artemis works without this archives.
Furthermore its very difficult modify FM_skins.pkg, this is the archive that have all the graphics for the skin.
But its not only bad news, a time ago in Polaris forum was posted a updated library for FM radio that when I installed in my Artemis updated my FM Radio app and gives the skin of Polaris, but some time later I have to make a hard reset for other reason and cant install again.
I read in another thread that gullum try to cook the polaris FM radio in his rom but cannot make it works, only work if the app is installed after.
The reason for this thread is give you the cab of library for Polaris to try and report it works or not, please specified what rom are you using.
Dont worry its fully uninstallable.
If We can make work this Polaris library in our Artemis maybe we could change the pkg archive to have a diamond look FM radio.

Yeah this is my artemis, and this is only a skin because is the same version of the FM Radio.
The procedure are below:
1) Install this file first "FM Radio Build 103.816 library.cab" and soft reset
2) Then install "HTC blackstone FM radio.cab" (now if you can run the FM Radio appears a pop up of unexpected error)
3) Soft reset again
4) The final step: Uninstall "HTC blackstone FM radio.cab" using Settings-System-Remove Programs
5) Now you can run the Fm Radio app and appears with the blue and black skin for Cruise.
I am using Gullums TouchFlo2D beta 5 ROM and works flawlessly¡¡¡
please report if works for you
If works for you the next step is make it work the diamond skin.
Edit: Hi guys I have a new skin for FM Radio it is from HTC Rose.
all you need to do is copy the files inside the rar in windows folder.

After unsinstall, my P3300 would not show any FM radio software at all. It screwed up my FM Radio listening.

What Rom do you use? and what .cab do you install?

Ok, its very strange that your FM dont work after you uninstalled this FM radio by Polum because this cab only install graphics and 1 exe file nothing about a dll or something.
The request of this thread is about install the cab attached in first post named FM Radio Build 103.816 library.cab

I installed it too, but i think it doesnt work on schaps roms. because when I install those cabs, its says after install "this is a old version so it maybe doesnt work correct" ..I can tell you one thing, I doesnt! i get a empty space on my to-day screen..

On wich version of Schap's ROM are you ?
Because I've seen two versions for this: WWE & FRENCH... depends on you langage: The wwe version didn't work with my French ROM (3.30b)

Solution
For those who can't get the HTC Home plug-in with my multilangual ROMs other than english, don't be surprised as those files were extracted from a WWE version Touch ROM!
By renaming some files or translating MUI you should be able to make it work correctly, there is no reason as it works flawlessly with my ROM, even in French!

Hi, I think that's not correct.
I used IBM J9 Midlet manager and it works beautiful.
For your info, I'm writing this reply via Opera mini 4 and have been browsing all the while using OM. No problem whatsoever.
I can use the softkeys(left & right buttons). Can scroll up & down and even can invoke PIE to dowload files.
No problem.
Try it and you'll agree with me.
The text input method in IBM J9 is far better than TAO, in my humble opinion.

Use the Advanced Config.>Home> then select all the Tabs.

Hi guys, i'm very new to all this so could do with a bit of help if possible. I have the UK MDA Vario 2 and i have done the HardSPL flash and am currently running windows mobile 6 black 3.0. This has been working fine for a couple of months but i'd like to try this new T-mob rom. Do i just download this and flash the same way i flashed the HTC black rom ?
Sorry for what may sound like a stupid question but i'm really not very knowledgable in this area yet

Guys, I can assure you that it's the latest official version downloaded for Dopod's Australian site.

By the way, this ROM upgrade is bringing no trouble in comparison to Cooked versions that I have already tried al of them.
HSPDA enabled, VoiP on, Video Call on, everything is running smoothly.
But, be sure that before proceeding with upgrade you, it's present latest HARD SPL -Des, etc. on you PPC.
Im using this rom too and it is indeed the official version, and works well! only thing i missing from WM5 is the Voice Call, where can i get that? Im using Jabra BT a lot and want the voice call or was it Voice dial?

i have the modified Dopod-ROM from crab http://www.ppc-welt.info/community/showthread.php?t=115290 installed.
Now i can not install the sdkcerts.cab.
The installation aborts with install unsuccessfull. No other error.
Have other People with original Dopod Rom the same problem?
Can somebody post me an export of HKLM\Security\Policies\Policies from a device that can install the sdkcerts?

I'd stick to v1.20, found here. Some have been having problems with v1.30 with radio flashing and some other things. Or just try with v1.30 first. Up to you.

Does this clean edition come with 3G dialer?
This is the only issue that keep your 6.1 ROM away from perfection in my opinion based on day to day use.
I am using the TE version. What is the difference between CE and TE with respect to application.

TE use many skins from Touch and Touch Dual, while CE is a clean version without any 3rd party software so that you can have maximun storage and clean OS to install whatever you like! (It's nearly as clean as an offical ROM for PPC)

i've got this issue aswell, attempting to flash from Schap's 4.31
Anyone got any clues on whats going wrong?
edit: Just had a thought, could it be a limitation with HardSPL v7? would upgrading to v9 help?

u should extract it first then rebuild the OS.nb with nbhtool to make working RUU_signed.nbh

I don't know why but before nbhtool remake of the RUU_Signed.nbh the two files have different size. Original download from Cloudyfa was 49.018kb and the new one (after reconstraction with nbhtool) is 49.114kb

I have not test,I want test rom without Manila2D version 3.15,Can you built it for me.
I test RUU_TRINITY_WM6.1_WWE_ASIA_3.11.YK.lite ,this rom is good and steady.
It works with P3600i. Nice and no lag. Initial free mem 20.62 (after soft reset).
I just can't understand some of the programs as they are shown in chinesse (callerloc, cyberon dic, Hand Calendar). Is there anyway to change it to english?

If I may give some suggestions:
- change the arcsoft mms to version 5
- change the 3G icon in the title bar
- add activesync killer
Just a thought.

i think that is PCM keyboard, you can search. (sorry that i can't give you the link)

if its name Lite, it should not contain any addition software, you can flash with the Lite one and install M2D by your self, using search M2D you will find lots of it.
Is this lite rom contain Mamila2D?
