hi, i have a tytn II , when i make a videocall to any device who supported 3g this answer me like a voice call. And if any device want make a videocall to me the dial signal is present, but I don't see anything on my device. please help me, cause i cant find any solve to my problem !!!!

This is the 3rd or 4th I've seen coming to the wrong forum for help in the last couple of weeks.... It's sad they don't know what device they've got....

there are 2 big problems i have found with my Qtek 9090 since i bought it about 3 days. Its kinda soon to find out this big bugs, so i would like to know is these are general people issues or they are happening only to myself...
1.- somehow after some standby time, i can't hear neither do the caller hear what im saying tru a conversation. This is solved by soft reset the device... also founded in this forum that by enabling bluetooth all time, this issue can be ignored and the phone works quite well... (stable)
2.- when im connected to GPRS, speak about MSN, IE or Mail .. and i make a call (don't iven make the call during 5 seconds) i imediately lost the GPRS connection and wont be able to reconnect to it ... i always receive an error saying " unknown error found ... try to reset the device as the owner manual indicates .. something like this... "
in fact i have to soft reset each time to get GPRS working again.. and im really sad by doing this all the time ... but i dont know if anyone else has this problem, please let me know any information that could be helpfull, i realy apreciate.

I had the same problem with not being able to be heard during a call. I upgraded my ROM and the problem went away.
Not sure about GPRS.

I have my mda-pro for a while now, and had some problems with it... After searching this forum(great forum) i found there were some fixes. After trying these fixes and still had some problems i decided to upgrade my device with the this rom ftp://xdaupload:[email protected] ROM update for MDA pro, january 2006.zip
After i upgraded my device was faster and more stable, but found 1 issue i can't find the answer for on this forum. (by the way if you have problems like device hanging etc this rom will help you it was my life saver... )
The issue i have is that with my older t-mobile rom i could make a call and use gprs/umts together, but after the upgrade grps/umts is disconnected when i get a call or make one. :evil:
Is there a reg tweak to stop this, i find it verry annoying that i can’t check my mail when i’m on the phone. When people who I’m in a converance call with and saying I mailed the info to you I have to disconnect my call open/check my mail and call them back verry verry annoying… :evil: :evil: :evil:

thanks for the great site.
ive had my BA for over a year...despite the occassional hangup it works fairly well. however all of a sudden when i try to make an outgoing call other than to my voicemail i get 3 beeps and the call is then ended. the weird thing is that this doesnt happen all of the time and with no apparent pattern.
i cant understand why this is happening as i havenet changed any of the software / network.
please help me !! i'm very tempted to see how many pieces i can break it into with one throw.

That is the behaviour of a network barred handset.

however there is no reason for my phone to be network barred ! i bought the phone while on the o2 network, had it unlocked and have been on vodafone for over a year with it working fine. i understand if it was barred it would block all my calls (maybe except vmail). thing is the 3 beeps i get are intermittant and dont happen with every call.
do you think it could be something to do with changes to vodafone and the way the xda works with vodafone. i'm not a techie person, but even this reason sounds unlikely to me.
any further ideas would be appreciated

oh yeah...forgot to mention...i've had the phone since new and am the 1st and only owner of it
i get this sometimes also... and i think mine has to do with wm5, but im not for sure....

is there anything that you do to your mobile to get it to dial out?
does anyone think that a rom upgrade or a radio upgrade may solve my problem?
here's the thing,
everyone knows that Universal is a bit slower than some other PDAs though it has better specifications
a while ago i wrote a thread here asking how to make it faster espicially in a game like Explode arena .. but no one answered
well, i forgot that and just lived with it .. but after a while i changed back to Helmi's WM5 and i tried the Bluetooth stack that he created (unibt.cab) but it didn't work well so i decided to remove it
when i removed it and restarted the phone .. the bluetooth and the sound didnt work and i knoew i had to do a hard reset or something
but i noticed the PDA is was actually faster .. and i opened the game {explode arena} which was very slow .. and it was working fine .. i don't konw how that happened
but sure i had to change the windows gain to get bluetooth and sound back
so, anyone has an idea what happened there ?
why did the device get faster when bluetooth and sound went off ?
maybe we can find a way to make this thing go faster cause i actually like it

Look at your dialing rules, it could be that the phone is adding a digit or two every time it dials out. The radio suggestion might work as well.
