Is any of the blessed developers on here into creating a CAB and OEM of the kaisers new ROM 3G dialpad, home plugin and comm manager?
These also look like HTC Touch, but a lot better ( specialy for our hermeses ) IMHO ..
I have attached the images, but didn`t search for the new Kaiser ROM..
There is a new comm manager too that has room for Schaps 3G switch button that I find very useful..
I would do it myself but I am a lousy coder
EDIT:
Here are the files:

THANKS Guys, you are such a GURUs
Instructions if the plugin doesn`t work ( by Olioaglio ) :
OK, i managed to make it full compatible tough.
These are the instructions for getting all features to work
correctly with GERMAN version of Schaps 330c rom only!!!
In WWE version all should work by default, in other language
rom versions you have to replace the 0409 string with your
rom language (e.g. 040C for french).
First you need Resco Explorer, so you can rename/overwrite
files in ROM. Then, quit existing Today HTC Home plugin and
install the Kaiser cab version provided by JUVS (thread page 6).
Then enter Resco Explorer, go into Windows folder and rename
the following files according to your country (following for germany):
HTCHome.dll.0409.mui -> HTCHome.dll.0407.mui
HTC HDlg.exe.0409.mui ->HTC HDlg.exe.0407.mui
HH_0409_WeatherCities.xml -> HH_0407_WeatherCities.xml
htcbtql.dll.0409.mui -> htcbtql.dll.0407.mui (just if you have installed JUVS Bluetooth Quicklink for Home screen)
WE ARE MISSING :
- Kaiser 3G Dialpad
- Working Sliding Sounds application
Hope someone figures out and share those two..

Are these not the same as what is already in JJ's Black Majic rom, they look very similar?
Those aren't the same as Black Majik as JJ doesn't have the 3G Video dialer....

no.. look at the home plugin thumbnail even.. u'll see extra 2 tabs for contacts & phone ringtone I believe..
If the Hermes tools work on the Kaiser ROM, and we can obtain a ROM dump from it, then it's probably extractable... has anyone got a ROM for it yet?
Edit: Search is my friend. IMGFS is here.
I can look at it tonight if you want and see if I can extract the packages, and cabify them?
Here is the difference; for the fast readers...
HTC Kaiser vs. HTC Touch
The Dialer would be cool to have...
Yes it could be very cool to have this homeplug.
Specially the feature with contacts and music plug-in, I could delete Mobile Shell
the 2 tabs added to the home plugin are favorite person if i remember correctly and a profile switcher. these images are of modaco and probably should be linked to that thread as what i said about home plugin is there. walsh and probably jj are looking into getting these soon. the files are in the newest kaiser rom dated 6/22/07 if i remember correctly so might take a while before we get the rom. be patient and we will have the files soon in a rom or cab.
Wow that looks really nice. I would like this over the HTC Homeplug! Any luck on extracting these from the kaiser?
I Just cant wait to get the kaiser! anybody knows when it will be released? maybe the new MDA Vario 3?

Zilch. I can't see them in the IMGFS. I don't know what I'm missing, and I'm still quite new at this, but I can't find any of the images, never mind anything else.
Still, I'll keep trying to work it out!
Edit: Downloading the test ROM that's also mentioned, I'll see if I can find anything in there.
this would be great to have in the next version of black... ill have to let jj know

Think he already knows, he's been dumping bits of the ROM
all that stuff is ugly anyway .. Wisbar Advanced Desktop is the way to go to make your today screen look amazing.
I have tried this hack on the MAKUU wm6.1 beta6 "pure" and on the Lennysh wm6.1 beta 2.1 preview for my Dell Axim x51v.
See thread here: http://forum.lennysh.com/showthread.php?t=182
Basically you need the fake phone/sms DLL hack before installing the HTC plugin.
All files found here on XDA-Devs, but forgot where. So cred to the devs that first posted the files. Found clue for hack in the "Midlet Bible" by Menneisyys.
Also the HTC Home Plugin Customizer v1.0 Final found here works great!!
-NonPaq
Update: LennySH was kind enough to combine a version of HTC Home Plugin VGA with the two DLLs included in a cab for quick and easy installation. See Post #15 for Download.
thank you very much spent a lot of time on trying to get this work
@all
you need to put the dll files in windows folder..
Awesome! Man, I've been looking for ways to get it to work. I gave up and instead, used lrToday with my own clock skin. Now, I can truly get rid of that and try this. Thanks for posting this solution!
Just reflashed with LennySH edition (2.1) and I'm having problems customizing with Home Plugin Customizer v1.0. It goes through all the options, but saving does not change the plugin. I know this used to work (just look at the image). Let me know if you able to change the configurations.
BTW, is this the best "VGA version" of the plugin? The text is very small.
Dont know what I did other than reinstalling the Homeplug, but now the HTC Home Customizer works.
I experimented with installing PocketCM again (scrolling contacts). Previously, the application would immediately bomb out with missing component error. This time it actually ran!! Unfortunately its immediately closing down after loading the contacts, but at the PCM forums it appears to be a wm6.1 problem.
Looks like these fake DLLs may also allow other phone apps to now work on our non-phone Axim. (perhaps even other non-phone devices).
(I changed Homeplug to transparent backgroung, iphone icons, and silver streak clock. All auto downloaded with HTC Home Customizer.)
nonpaq
Mine doesn't work. I copied the dll files over to the Windows directory. Installed the cab file and all it shows on my Today Screen is a line separated where the HTC Home Plugin should be. BTW - haven't install the customizer yet.
Running makuu's pure 6.1 rom.

I originally did this on Makuu's 6.1 pure, so I dont know what is happening. Did you reboot after install? I never did not try it in RealVGA mode however.
Pst... btw, Makuu "leaked" that he will be releasing a new rom with HomePlug built in. My discovery may just be too little too late for Makuu fans.
It will not have the plugin built in, but it will support the installation natively without any tricks. I'll post the link to the rom in few minutes.
Not sure why it's not working. Maybe I'll wait for Makuu's next release. I'll stick with Moble Shell 2 for now. Thanks.
Does it works on WM6 ? (Not 6.1)
My X51v runs the Makuu WM6 FR, and I Wanted to try this homme plug for a long time.

it is a very nice looking plugin, but is it possible to change the tabs like contacts to another launcher?
If 2 or 3 tabs (on a total of 6) aren't usefull on a non-phone device, I won't have it on mine.
ok worked until I changed the theme color with mobile shell 2.. now only a seperator and free space where the plugin should be.. but I think there are better programs out there right now especially ultimate launcher
Attached is a modified cab install for the two attachments in the 1st post. Although this is the older version, I'm at work and can't post a newer version of HTC Home so I decided to go ahead and post this one for people not comfortable with copying files. Just install this cab, and soft reset.
Is there any way that the plugin grows a little bit because it is too small!

does someonae has the new HTC touch 3d........-----
I WANT IT.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
isnt it only for htc touch diamond?
It isn't out yet. The 3d Touchflo Interface debuts with the HTC Diamond. Should be out by June/July.
I forgot to mention that the 3d Touchflo Interface demands better hardware and memory than most of the devices any of us has currently. The chances that it will run smoothly with our devices are very slim.
I think its a little sluggish on Touch Diamond itseld from what Ive heard from some of those who attended the press event.
Imagining it on Artemis could only be a joke.. It requires a GPU. And it also looks like this application has a lot of locks preventing cookers from porting. But still XDA-dev has much better hackers to overcome those. Lets wait for the devices on the market first.
Regards,
Carty..
here is a couple of words...i'd like to have 3d,but i suppose its not possible
However, a TouchFLO 3D upgrade for current HTC Touch smartphones (like the Touch, Touch Dual or Touch Cruise) isn't planned due to increased and changed hardware requirements.

if this was called HTC manila when it was in the development stage then i hav a ver of this(cab file) which is meant for VGA screen PPCs only
fair does that phone looks stunning,i was gonna get the orbit 2, but the diamond is much faster and better looking, quite looking forward to this one
After see Pontui Home runing so smoothly on my Artemis, I have a little hope that this programa will not demand a Hi-end hardware to run. I HOPE!!!

Hi, In this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=363500&page=14
a developer called dobb try to adapt the manila VGA to QVGA and release a version alpha and beta that works in the qvga devices but obviously run slow and need to adapt the soft buttons. You can install the cab of VGA version and the dll's, thus overwrite the files in manila folder with the alpha or beta version of QVGA.(This version need to polish more)
The version posted for sheennick123456 was a beta of touchflo3d leaked in january 2008, and with greater reason, the actual version should run faster.
I have no doubt that any developer here not only achieved by extracting the touchflo3d but also the driver to run correctly.
Think about that:
When "Touch" released, HTC said the touchflo could only run on those Devices because of the special hardware (screen), but there are many of us who run the touchflo in our Artemis without such hardware (screen).
Greetings
really it isn't working... i installed it and i don't know how to uninstall.. anybody??
it creates a folder named manila somewhere in the device memory
i dont recollect the exact path but i guess it is in the my documents
all u have to do is delete this folder
If you want to uninstall you have to:
delete the folder in Program Files/Manila
delete all registry in HKLM/software/microsoft/today/items/manila
delete manilatoday.dll in windows folder
I tried in my artemis and works slowly but the second beta needs more work.

Hi There,
seems that manila 2D QVGA is out. You can find roms for other device (trinity, polaris ecc) already included it.
Who will be the first to cook an artemis rom with this stuff?
The race started!
Thank YOu

I'm totally new on cooking ROMS and I've seen the great work that our friend did on creating the Vanilla ROMS...
I'm thinking about starting to cook my own ROMs and post them here for everyone...
Any suggestions on where I can get the Manila 2D to use on an Artemis ROM?
I would love to start with something this great...
UHM... I don't know where get it, but I've read a lot more and seems that 3d hardware is needed... in that case, no manila 2d for artemis.
bye

I have tried the new cab, but with this version my SPB Now screen doesn't work anymore. When I remove the cab file, SPB Now works again.
Link is broken...
Is there any other way to get the cab?
check this section: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=260
Its getting bigger and bigger though that package and it will make your device kinda slowish as it is now.
The keyboard is nice though from it: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=426281. I noticed some performance lag with the other keypad that was made with the diamond as base.
The manila 2d works good on Artemis xD
The other stuff at the ppc will be a little slow :O
batterystatus overclocking don't work so its extra slow.
Damn...Maybe if we open Manilla 2D and try to optimize it for Artemis?
What language was it programmed with?
most info can be found and modified in the xml file from what people said
If so, we should try to work on that...
BTW, anyone knows if Artemis Screen supports 640x480 resolutions?
artemis is QVGA meaning quarter VGA (vga = 640x480 / 480x640) in resolution.
So that is 320x280 or 280x320. Applications made for VGA resolution wont work afaik.
Thks for the info, Zetsumei...
I didn't know how it worked....
Hi,
after my tests:
1st: B&B 5 pretty loaded with stuff + Manilla2D = death, too slow even for snail.
2nd: Oops Black v1 clean + Manilla2D = late reaction, lags, very slow start.
I'll go back to my B&B5 with stuff and wait for complete rom with Manilla2D (instead of HHS). Maybe We can count for now B&B rom with Manilla2D included...who knows.
I'm reading some tutorials on how to cook, I'll try to get Vanilla 4.01 and take HHS out and put Manilla2D in it...Let's see how it will work...
I'll make sure to get everyone updated about it...If anyone want to help me, send me a PM.
hi everybody is there any way to have the new manila 2.5 as a cab installer and then as a panel like i used to do whit manila 2.1? thanks
I wonder if that's possible? But if yes then that would be really nice.
This is a really good idea...who can help XDA members?
Actually I can't recommend installing TF3D by cab, because it consists of a lot (and I mean a lot, certainly 2.5!!) of files. And installing it by cab will make a huge impact on the system.
The first TF3D for X1 was available as a cab, but the diffence between installing by cab or cooked in where huge. TF3D by cab had all sorts of quirks and was slow a h*ll.....
FOr example, the manila 2.1 package alone is almost 40mb (and 2.5 is even bigger) so you end up with a cab of about 50mb.
But back to the point, haven't seen a cab of manila 2.5 (and there probably will not be one for the above reason).
thanks Lokatho for the esplaination, btw now that i know about the problem of a cab i was just wondering if a rom with a manila 2.5 PANEL could be built...

Make ROM that will preserve all user info and programs and i will update immediately.
Flash a ROM!
It would be really pointless to have a cab of 2.5, it would slow down your whole device and would barely run!
if you want 2.5, to the easiest and best way, flash to one of our chef's great ROMS!
I think that Valkyrie 3.2 is the best....but there are others....like NRG's wwe energyrom....and ITJE TOUCHIT LEO...
if you want 2.5 you need to flash!
and as far as a panel goes...it would be relativley pointless if you are already using 2.5 as your homescreen....
and if you are a NEWB....you should look and search into 2.5, the threads and roms before opening relatively pointless threads...
just my 2 cents

You are right, apart from the fact that (as stated out in my recent thread) you are supposing that everyone is in love with WM6.5.
I was looking as well for a cabbed Manila 2.5 to install it on WM6.1, so it would really be great to have it (or, have it cooked on a WM6.1)
there are modules and dll's for the new leo which wont work on 6.1
there is a manila 2 cab
linkt to thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=448178
its a bit confusing, you have to download EnableRapi.cab first and install it. (in wont work the other way around, i tried it.
than you install the new manila 2 cab to internal memory. (that takes about 2 hours + in the tread are 3 different manilla cab files and only one has landscape i think, the beta3 but just use my link)
i have direct links to the files
EnableRapi cab: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=300592 (you have to scroll down a bit till you see the file)
manila 2 cab: http://rapidshare.com/files/218194087/TF3DHDB3.cab
and about the speed of manila 2, i have it installed one week ago and it crashed 1 time so far because i pressed accidently on picture presentation and than on weather tab and than switched to landscape (that was too much xD). and tabs like programs, settings and weather always take some time to show up. (about 2-4 seconds) all other tabs are fast once they loaded the first time. landcape switch takes always around 4 secounds, never longer.
and someone said its a huge impact on the device to install a 45mb cab file, and that might be true, but i have installed like 3 different manilas and this one 3 times (and uninstalled again, it never worked because i always forgot something) i never hardresetted the x1 after all the installing and it still works quiet good.
forgot to say, its not a panel, just a today element. and im using winmo 6.1
Thanks to show them how to install manila 2.0 on Wm6.1 but they search a cab for manila 2.5
yes, i understood all you're saying, so i know that a rom with manila 2.5 in it will run better. Now that i know it, i'd like to know if with a rom like this will be possible to run the manila as a panel instead of run it as the standard today screen. I want this option just because i like to change today home screen very often and also because if i have manila 2.5 in use in the today and i open another panel, it will still run in backgroung, making the whole phone go slower...
(sorry for my bad english :S hope you'll understand it...)
