will a display from a cingular branded Wizard swap out and replace a cingular branded Kaiser with minimal heartache? I am ok with smt soldering but was curious if the ribbon cable position and pinouts were the same. Thanks

External Antenna Adapter - Blue Angel O2 XDA IIs MDA III PDA
My signal reception is pretty good everywhere EXCEPT in my apartment. There IS some type of antenna connector behind the rubber plug on my SX-66. It looks to be like a standard (non-proprietary) plug.
1) Does any one know what the correct name of the connector is (i.e. TNC, FME, BNC, etc.). There are plenty of US companies who can supply the connector if I have the correct name of the external antenna port.
2) Will the adapter for any other phone work as well?
3) Does anyone know where I can purchase the adapter?
Thanks in advance,
J

Hello!
I have a Himalaya phone(Dopod 699), however, I drop it accidently with USB connector plugin, and it can't recharge or sync. I check the connector on the MB is loss or broken. It's SMD pin on the other side of the connector. Does anyone have the connector layout information, so I can unsolder and solder it back?
Thank you very much.

Dose anybody knows where I can find a Fujitsu Siemens N560 connector plug for using it in a DIY hardware project?
It seams that the same connector type is used in other HTC manufactured devices like Dell Axim X5x series and Asus MyPal A636N but the size and pin number differs.
The FS N5xx connector has the following specifications:
- 26 pins
- 0.5mm ping gap
- about 16.7mm width
- about 2.25mm height

I am also interested in purchasing a plug like this with a USB plug on the other end.
Thank you

I have replaced the top board in one of my M8 phone, after the replacement the SIM card could not be read.
I replaced the flex cable between the board and the main board with the original one from my other M8 and then the SIM card worked. But now the SIM on my other M8 does not work anymore.
Does anyone know if there are different flex cables? I am not sure if I order a new flex cable if it will work.
So both my M8 work with one of the 3 flex cables, and one flex cable came with a new board.
