Did you follow these steps (see also http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=416211)
1. Download OliNex Unsigned Hard-SPL (Developers Edition) from here;
2. Unzip the files from the archive to any new folder;
3. Run the executable (in most cases it is ROMUpdateUtility.exe, but it also can be ROM.exe or any other name, recognize it by the icon);
4. If you understand the caution and risks, check the box and click Next;
5. Read carefully and follow all directions;
6. If you completed all steps indicated, check the box and click Next;
7. Next screen will show current version on device and by clicking Update you will see the version to be flashed;
8. Click Next when ready;
9. Your device might ask you for confirmation on launching a program. Just tap Yes! Your device will display a completely black screen. A Progress bar will appear on your computer screen. Be patient while your device is being updated. Do not interact with device in any way, do not unplug cable, do not turn off device or computer!
10. When upgrading is finished, your device will automatically soft reset. Click the ‘Finish’ button to exit the RUU.

I hope to receive aid yours detailed and links. sorry i have a bad english , i from spain. thanks
You must understand why you would want to change it...right? Try making a search for your purpose; otherwise, there is no need to change your radio.
Quoting from Buzz's SIM_Unlock_v1.rar's readme file.
Warning:
The unlock procedure requires you to reflash your Universal. Although the unlocking procedure itself should be safe, you are advised to take a full backup of all device data before use.
Buzzdev.net takes no responsibility for any conflict, fault, or damage caused to your phone by this unlocking procedure. It may invalidate your warranty. Full caution is advised.
Install Instructions:
1. Backup your phone (not necessary, but advisable).
2. Remove your SD Card.
3. Enter bootloader mode on your Phone. To do this, simultaneously hold down the backlight key (“bulb” key, next to volume key), the power key and soft reset the phone. Your phone screen should clear, and you will see very faint writing saying “serial”. Let go of buttons etc.
4. Connect your phone to your computer using the USB lead.
5. Run the MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe program – this will reflash your phone with necessary software required to enable the unlocker.
6. Wait patiently.
7. Once the MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe upgrade completes, soft reset your phone by pressing the soft reset button on the back of the device [if the flash has been successfully applied, you should see that you now have Radio version 0.00.00]
8. Allow your phone to reboot. Once it has, connect to your PC using Activesync, and copy the UNI_Unlock_v1.exe program onto your phone. Alternatively, copy it to an SD card and insert into your phone.
9. Run UNI_Unlock_v1.exe on your phone. Wait patiently.
10. Once the process completes, soft reset your phone.
11. Process is (hopefully) complete!

Hello everyone!
I have download several utility and file to unlock my new Dash Tmobile phone and I was so nervous of what to do since it is my first time to unlock the phone. So I went to ebay.com and bought two software from a guy .. 1. application unlock, 2. SIM CID unlock ...
I ran this software as the guide tell me what to do, but at the end still did not work for me. I have read step by step very careful and still did not work.
Easy auto-install Instructions:
-------------------------------
1. Run first “DashExcalibur_Unlock_v1.bat”
NOTE: PLEASE BE ADVISED THE MANUAL PROCESS IS TRULY OPTIONAL NO NEED TO RUN IT IF YOU DOUBLE CLICK ON THE AUTO INSTALL “DashExcalibur_Unlock_v1.bat”.
If you don't want to install automatically, or for some reason the process doesn't work for you, here are the manual instructions:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Transfer from folder SSPL/”DashExcalibur.exe” to your phone and run it
2. Tri color screen will appear
3. Disable Active sync (file -> connection settings -> uncheck "allow USB connections")
4. Connect your phone to your computer using the USB lead.
5. run RUU/”ROMUpgradeUtility.exe”
6. Follow the flashing process (Check the "I understand..." and "I completed..." boxes and update!) (Note: If you get and error “Invalid
Vendor ID or “Invalid Update Tool” It’s ok. That means more then likely your phone doesn’t need the boot loader update” and run the Other ROM update we have provided. It’s located in the “DASH ROM Update” Folder.
Double click “DASH ROM Update.11.531.2_4.1.13.24_02.48.90_T-Mobile.US_SHIP” to install/update your phone. (Continue as follow below:….)
7. Allow your phone to reboot.
8. Transfer/Copy “DashExcalibur _Unlock_v1.exe” program to your phone and run it
9. Click the Unlock Button, select unlock option. Select if you want SIM/CID unlock.
10. Click "Unlock!" and wait until process finishes.
11. When done, turn off your phone for 10 seconds and reboot after that.
I ran bouth the auto unlock and manual unlock but still didnt go ... I notice that when it tried to update the ROM .. at the end it state INVALID VENDOR ID .. and the ROM suppose to change from 1.22.xx.xx.xx to 1.11.xx.xx.xx and after it reboot I checked the system info it still show 1.22.xx.xx.xx ...but when I ran the SIM/CID unlock it stated that successfully but when I put a foreign SIM in .. it still ask me the code....
Anyone here has any idea?
thanks;

hello all,
i was about to install wm6.5, but i cant get it done.
Mobile: Htc touch diamond (ofcourse)
Rom: 1.37.172.3 NLD (i went to this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=400402 , and did everything they said, and the rom update was succeful.. so i dont understand why my mobile says its this rom.)
radio: 1.00.25.03
I followed this steps:
How to install the Windows Mobile 6.5 in your HTC mobile
This howto was conducted on GSM HTC Touch Diamond. For all other HTC sets running the Windows 6.5 the consequences will be the same.
Requirement
HTC Touch Diamond or Touch Pro (GSM only)
Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM (Choices: Diamond , Pro )
Account at XDA Developers(free)
Windows PC set up to sync with your handset
Device flashing utility
bootloader(Diamond , Pro )
Device Radio (Diamond , Pro ). Ensure that you download the Original list.
Now, if you are done with the requirements its time to back up with your contacts and personal info. For this you might take the help of Microsoft's free online service called My Phone. Remember, the installation would remove the software installed in your device, so don't forget to keep a back up.
Install the bootloader
What you need to know is that you are installing an unofficial softwar, something that your mobile phone is not used to do. To begin with install a new bootloader hardSPL on the device. This will allow your handset to accept third party services like the Windows Mobile ROM. Go ahead with the steps
Step 1: Connect your mobile phone to your Windows PC. Establish the ActiveSync (on XP) or Sync Center (on Vista, or Windows 7) connection to your device. Make sure the connection is active. To check this see if there is a bidirectional arrow in your Phones taskbar.
Step 2: Extract the bootloader you've downloaded and note the location
Step 3: Now find the extracted files and run the executable file ( it is usually called ROMUpdateUtility.exe)
Step 4: Follow the instructions. The software will perform a number of checks. You must make sure you have the following
i) The handset has 50 % battery life in your phone
ii) The correct bootloader
iii) host computer that doesn't go down
Step 5: Can you see the paired progress bars on your phone and computer screen. This part of the process doesn't take long as it is a small piece of software.
Step 6: Now Restart your phone. The small text will appear in the corner of your Windows Mobile splash screen. This might be unfamiliar.
If the utility runs completely, the device will be restarted on its own.
Install a new device radio
Installing a fresh Radio onto the device usually won't make much of a change in how your phone works. Some radios can improve reception on certain networks. Let's get on with the technique
Step 1: Connect your phone to the PC
Step 2: Extract the download radio files and note their location
In case, the radio comes with a bootloader, jump to step 5
Step 3: Extract the downloaded bootloader, using the location
Step 4: Copy the extracted radio file, with an .NBH extension to the directory where you have placed the bootloader
Step 5: Run the bootloader
Step 6: Perform the instruction in step 4 and 5 provided in the bootloader installation procedure
Step 7: Allow the phone to restart. This won't bring in major changes, but you might have to make some minor changes in the network setup.
Install Windows Mobile 6.5
This is where you get down to installing the new OS.
Step 1: Connect the Phone with PC
Step 2: Extract the downloaded bootloader again, but to a different location
Step 3: Extract the Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM to the same directory where you have the bootloader. It would be an .NBH file of about 80-100 MB.
Step 4: Now Run the bootloader and follow the instructions.
Step 5: Wait, the process will take 15 to 20 minutes
Step 6: After your phone is reset, the Windows Mobile 6.5 splash screen will appear. It appears somewhat hacked. But, your job is done.
Step 7: WinMo would automatically anticipate your connection settings and apply the appropriate connection settings. In case, it doesn't, you can do it from the device's Settings page, found in the top level of the new start menu.

Ok now the problem:
The first step was succesful, i installed the bootloader.
Then i went to the radio update: So i downloaded the radio version: 1.09.25.23. There are 2 files in that: 1.09.25.23.nbh and customRUU.
I first clicked the costomRUU twice, and started the thing, but it got stucked. So i went back to the webpage to look, and i found i had to copy the stuff into the bootloader shizzle. So i copied 1.09.25.23.nbh and customRUU into the map with: enterbootloader, errorbattery, errorusb, modelID, rapitool, romupdateutility.cgf, romupdateutility, RUU_signed.nbh, RUUgetinfo, RUURescource.dll, SSPL-Manual.. And i double-clicked the romupdateutility. I did everything the thing said, But after a short period of time, like 3 minutes, an error occured. So i did the same after resetting my device.. same problem. The same problem occures when i try this with the wm6.5 file. I downloaded BsB65K. from: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=506533. I copied the nbh-file into the bootloader thing, runned the romupdateutility, and got same problems as with teh radio, what am i doing wrong?
Kind regards, Michiel.
The radio did come with a bootloader - customRUU.exe, skip to step 5. I know you did try using the customRUU and it got stuck; do it again. Extract the original radio file you downloaded, don't piss around with the files you've copied around at this point. Extract it and double click the customRUU after you've connected via ActiveSync. Once that's done extract the ROM you want, copy it to the root of the internal storage, press reset then hold vol down and <- at the same time until you get the boot menu, press power once to install the new ROM.
Thanks for the helping.
But, is this for radio only?
And i still have the problem. I did as u said:
-extract the radio files on the pc: 1.09.25.23.nbh and customRUU
-double click customruu, (do i have to run the whole setup, or just the first step? )
-what is the rom? the .nbh-file? because i copied the nbh into my storage of my mobile device.
-then i do the reset.
so i have to know how i have to run the setup, btw, at the reset or do i have to run it before.
regards
Did you Hard-spl? if not, thats your problem.
Nope that was radio and ROM.
Extract the files from the radio file. Connect the phone via activesync. Run the customRUU. Follow the instructions on the screen. Once it completes your radio is updated.
Now extract the ROM you want to upgrade to. Copy the diaming.nbh file from it into your internal storage. Press reset and hold vol down and <- until you get the boot menu. One option will be to install the DIAMING.nbh by pressing the power button. Press the power button once.
It will tell you when it's complete. Reset and enjoy. The method I describe is faster and easier than using activesync to install the new ROM.
When i hold reset+vol down, i get a 3 color+white screen.. witch says not except some rom information. etc.
And yes i did hardspl. i got rom SPL- 1.30 Olinex.
upgrade your hard-spl to: RUU_Signed_1_93OliNex_HSPL_UnsignedEdition
download here: http://rapidshare.de/files/40191554/RUU_Signed_1_93OliNex_HSPL_UnsignedEdition.zip.html click free user and you are ready to go...
hope this helps you

Hi Everybody.....,
I have seen a lot of people posting that they need a proper process of how to flash the HTC Artemis with a Custom ROM.
Flashing process is not so hard as it sounds. It is a very very very simple process, but still some people find it very difficult to do it or they are very much afraid whether they will brick their device.
So I decided to start this post so that it could be very much helpful to a Newbie.
Do not worry guys, even I was new in this arena a year before, but now you see I have mastered this process.
Follow these simple STEPS One by One and you will see your HTC Artemis in a Brand New Custom ROM…..!!!!
Every post contains a Step by Step procedure.
Post 1 : Connecting your HTC Artemis to your Laptop/PC.
Post 2 : SPL Unlocking your HTC Artemis
Post 3 : Flashing Your Device
[email protected]@[email protected]
POST 2
Follow these PRIMARY STEPS to connect your HTC Artemis to your Laptop/PC so that no mistake is made in connection while you flash your device.
1.First of all, insert the HTC Application CD (which you received when you purchased your device) in Disk Drive of your Laptop/PC.
2.Install Windows Active Sync from that CD into your Laptop/PC. NOTE: Do not connect your device while installing the Active Sync Software.
3.Now, once the software is installed RESTART you PC.
4.Connect you device HTC Artemis to your PC and follow the installation procedure.
5.After you complete the Installation, make sure the application looks like this.
Now, your device is connected and you need to switch to Post 2.
POST 1
Now, these are the SECONDARY STEPS to prepare yourself with all the tools for flashing you HTC Artemis.
Before we continue, make a note of the following instructions VERY CLEARLY.
NOTE: Do not DISCONNECT or LAUNCH any program in your PDA or PC during the update process.
NOTE: Please be sure that your phone battery is 100% charged before you start the update process.
NOTE: These steps are EXTREMELY necessary to be followed, because if you miss these steps, you will result in your device getting bricked.
1.First of all you need to SPL Unlock your device. For this, you need to download a software to SPL Unlock you phone.
2.You can download the Artemis USPL from the link below.
3.After you download the file, extract it and follow the instruction given.
4.Double click on the start_uspl program. A CMD window will show up and your USPL Unlocking process STARTS.
5.This process takes about 10 minutes depending upon the CPU speed, so keep patience.
6.After the process completes, the CMD window will vanish and a ROM Update Utility will start.
7.Your phone will be temporarily get disconnected from your PC but will regain connection after a few minutes. So be patient as your phone restarts and establishes connection.
8.After the phone establishes connection with the PC again, follow the steps as per the ROM Update Utility.
9.After the process completes, your phone will restart automatically. Now, check your phone when it restarts.
10.As soon as the phone restarts, it shows the following details:
IPL 3.xx.xxxx
SPL 1.11.0000
GSM 03.xx.xx, here x may be any number.
11.Now, if the phone shows SPL 1.11.0000 than your phone is ready to be flashed.
12.But, if it shows SPL as 3.xx.xxxx, where x may be any number than your SPL is not Unlocked and you need to follow all the above steps in this post again.
13.If your phone shows SPL 1.11.0000 on restart, then please follow the steps in the next post.
NOTE: DO NOT MANUALLY RESTART YOUR ARTEMIS OR DISCONNECT IT FROM YOUR PC AFTER THE SPL UNLOCKING PROCESS IS COMPLETED. PLEASE KEEP THE DEVICE CONNECTED TO YOUR PC AND FOLLOW THE STEPS IN THE NEXT POST.

Hey I would like to have sense 2.5 on my tilt too, but i really have no clue where to download it or start, help plz
I've read all the howtos and I tried flashing a 2.5 rom i found(i think its the right kind) and I keep getting error 262
Did you flash hardspl? What rom are you trying to flash? I suggest trying energy rom leo.
If by flash you mean download and run it on my computer then yes and the energy leo is the one i tried
When I click on the leo customRUU I get "windows cannot acces the specified path device of file. you may not have the appropriate permission to access this file "
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=550540
I alrdy read that a few times over
"Flashing via ActiveSync with USB Lead (thanks to OliNex)
1. Download HardSPL package from *HERE* and extract to an empty folder
2. Synch Phone with PC in Windows Mobile!!! It has to be connected to activesync or WMDC via USB cable and it must not be in Flight/Airplane mode (i.e. radio should be on)
3. NEW: Internet access is required as the program checks online for updates and license
4. Run Rhodium-HardSPL_V2_00R3.exe on PC, make sure it's launched from a local drive (not through network drive, etc.). XP requires Admin logon and Vista/Windows 7 will automatically prompt to allow it to run in Admin mode, allow it. If you get an AntiVirus warning please ignore it, it contains no harmful code (just used a packer to compress it)
5. Follow steps as prompted in the HardSPL program. If this is the first run of HardSPL on a device after Hard Reset, you must select Automatic Flash Mode (first button in Welcome Screen)
NOTE: You should usually go for Automatic Flash Mode. The Manual Flash option is only to be used as noted below and you must only attempt the Manual Mode option if Automatic Flash Mode or SSPL-Manual.exe already put device in black screen. Any other errors triggered while running in Autoflash Mode will have to be fixed as instructed in the error message.
6. It will ask you to wait while it prepares for the flashing, press OK
7. Now it should go through without any error messages, if one does pop up then follow the instructions included in the error text. If no specific instruction is shown then ask for help in the thread, but this should not ever occur (as this means a really fatal error occurred)
8. At this point the phone hopefully went to a black screen (reporting version as 1.01.C-SSPL only using "info 7" in mtty), this is the SSPL version, which is temporary. Then RUU will instantly launch
9. NOTE: When RUU says it will Hard Reset do not worry, it is not going to do that. Also when it says the flash will take 10 minutes ignore that, it will only take a minute or so
10. SPL flashes, device automatically reboots, job done"
So im here asking for help
did you download the package from "here" in the directions first and flash that before going onto a custom rom like nrg's?
yes i did.....
never ran into any problems myself so i dont know whats up but have you tried on another computer? flashed through sd card?

Ok, which device are trying to flash? Does tilt too mean "Tilt 2" or "tilt also"? If you are talking about a Tilt, you are in the wrong forum. This is Tilt 2 (Touch Pro 2/Rhodium).
