SYS from Diamond. Based on anper, mrtoto and vivi kitchen tools. Works pretty well. If prompted for password while OS building - type: mrtoto

Minor bug: if using the 20270 - do not apply GSMFix from Alex[DFR] while cooking the ROM - the device will not boot. The problem is fixed in 20273.

Minor bug: Brightness.exe from P750 does ot work in the ROM obtained. So replace brightness.exe with the attached file straight in the cooked ROM or replace it in the dump folder while cooking.

btw, crude hexedit of NB0_kitchen.exe may provide SMALLER pagepool amount - 3 mb seems to be AS GOOD as 4-8 mb, so - if you need more free MEM, try this hint.

nothin, as you probably understood from my topic about the new 20721 rom - I already have new kitchen.
Later I will upload ROM and SYS folders for the kitchen - just replace them in the kitchen and you will obtain new XIP and SYS (20721 AKU 1.4.0).

of course i will test new one...

The newer kitchen is just replacement of SYS folder. Not only for 6.1 but also for 6.5. Why don't you do it by yourself? If you have problems porting XIP and making rom.tpl - just notify and I will give you wanted one.

XipporterEx was born!

Hi all, cooperating with udk, and thanks to the author of the tricks into \mytools folder (I'd like to thank but I don't know who he is!), XipporterEx was born, how it works.....
easy:
you have to insert into:
old xip, new xip to port, and your payload.....
in one click you can port all xip or only MSXipkernel, done it, you can inster xip_out.bin into your os.nb.payload, and if you don't know where, the rightg offset where insert it into payload, you can find it only clicking on a button, and finally you have your new os.nb.payload updated, ported and ready to cook....

I have triyed it using as old xip Diamond XIP 1.97 and new XIP Blackstone 1.14 20757, to port only MXKERNEL, it works without anywarning, but when I dump the xip using XIPPort some module are missing like :
cachefilt.dll
mencfilt.dll
relfsd.dll
htcfsfilter.DLL
kd.dll
and some other for which I have read that they can be deleted
Is it normal ?

the xip have to works better without all the unused modules (on diamond!) but you can try on other devices, and report witch are useless and witch not!

The problem with this revision is the resulting payload being only 3.8MB. For the ULDR removal and IMGFS increase to work we need to use the -conservative switch on nbmerge and ImgfsToNb tools. This switch doesnt allow the higher size imgfs to be packed into the lower size template
Also the tool doesnt modify the LBA & no of sectors of IMGFS partition and needs to be done manually, but again the payload wont work since the nbmerge has to be with -conservative switch. Hope I am sounding clear without confusions

I Used HTC Rom Tool. to make the NBH file. and it worked fine. my os.nb.payload file is now 4.11 mb. xip os is 20764. Available memory before was 203.49, size after was 203.49. So I am not sure what i did wrong. aside from the smaller os.nb.payload file. everything seems to be the same.
It does boot and everything is fine there.

btxakita, you need Blackstone XIP, or what? If yes - go there and download whatever you want. BTW from my private experience - 20931 core is much faster and works better than 20764. I used both XIPs for some time (Blackstone - for a week, 20931 one - for more). But it's up to you....

I already tried 20940 and I also don't like it very much. It works for me but I did not find any advantages in comparison with 20931. It's even a bit slower for me. And some dlls missing...
Now - I'm not Chinese .... I am Russian speaker but not from Russia. And that's my problem with xbeta - I cannot make normal registration there so I can only look through the news with Google translator - but I can download nothing there.... I prefer t2home because they give an opportunity to download without registering....

BTW it's not bad to make the topick "sticky" and post here the news about XIPs And SYSs....

But I can just get CHS sys files
The 0409 or other languages are your own task..
And maybe just have it just for 96dpi 240*320(QVGA)
If you need dpi192 you should use the same files from other SYS instead..

or how should i know that the files are build 20764 as the build are coded in dsm.?

the xip from t2home 20764 MSXIPKERNEL but MSXIPKERNELTK is 20757
oh i have the sys 20764 from t2home atached is the sys version build report

Because 20764&20757 are also aku1.4.3
So Microsoft have it done like this...
And it is a real 20764 xip...
if i hex the .dsm then pack it to xip.bin...
it can help nothing...

Good initiative brother But for complete porting, we also need to Gwes.exe from same XIP builds, remember? Details can be read from my tutorial thread
