Hello I am having a HTC Vogue(P3050) from Canada.I got it from Telus.i used the method on internet and unlocked the HTC. I also got the reliance welcome on calling *228 and when i transferred my mobile on this HTC i also got the message on dialing *228 that "This phone is already activated on reliance and your mobile number is ########## " but when i try to call from my mobile then it says that to resume service please contact reliance customer care. i have changed the ESN from a LGRD2030 of reliance and it was blank but still i get the error so can u please help me as soon as possible i also changed the ESN of the OLD LGRD2030 from which i transferred the ESN
so please reply and help me

I have a Qwest HTC 6800 that I flashed to a Verizon ROM and activated using *228, #3. I did NOT change the ESN. It worked on the voice network for two weeks. While trouble shooting the inability of the device to access the data network I deactivated the phone. Now I can't get it to reactivate using *228, #3. Verizon tech support can't enter the ESN into their system because it doesn't recognize the phone's ESN. I'm stuck with a phone that doesn't have a cellular network.
Has anyone been able to get a Qwest phone to work on the Verizon network? If so, would you please contact me, or post here.

Does anyone know for sure whether or not I should be able to activate this phone on the Verizon network? I know I did it once, but I don't understand why it won't OTA activate again.
Could someone recommend a different forum or other source for help?
I have a rooted HTC EVO 4G with Jiminy V rom installed and was going to flash with CDMA workshop, but before that I went to cricket to ask for a new line( I wanted MIN/MDN numbers). I have never been a cricket customer before.
My question, How do I open an account with a flashed phone? The guy at the store simply looked at my evo and said he could't do it. Am I suppose to use the model number of a cricket android to pose as mine in their database? He said he couldn't open an account without an esn of a cricket phone.

they're just being lazy and also want you to buy their stuff.(they tecnically dont support that phn cause they dont sell it and dont have a working rom on it)
you can activate online, over the phn. or goto an authorized dealer. (not a cricket corporate store, if they're the ones giving you trouble)
you need to fully flash your phn for cricket. and with cricket, your min/mdn numbers will be your 10 digit phn. number.
Yeah, thanks I ended up being able to activate with the android plan. Only problem i have is that the calls are sometimes sent directly to voicemail without my phone ringing and since there's no visual voicemail for cricket I miss calls for hours/days

lg fathom has both cdma nad gsm 3g hardware.
Gsm is working but cdma need programming for use with cdma sim in it or cdma number programming.but cdma not accepting.
How to solve this.
Guys just do this for dual mode of lg fathom

I tried Reliance CDMA but the call is disconnecting after 3 seconds.
May be need more programming.

For using CDMA in India,
I am using LG fathom & Half a way for using Reliance.
Once I get success I will inform you how to do it.
1) You need to Register the MEID with Reliance Company. (Some third parties do it for Rs. 500)
2) You need to upload Reliance PRL using LGNPST Software.
Then Your Mobile will catch the Reliance Signal.
You have to get GSK from Reliance and do *228 registration.
Before doing all those things,
Please change your Network to CDMA & use dialer & dial
*228. Please reply with result.

Did you get it MetroFlashed? You have to add the ESN to Metro thru Houdini. And that can almost only be done at a corporate store. Doing all the provisioning thru QPST or DFS or whatever will not get your phone on Metro, even if you have a Metro PRL.
This is my first post,so please bear with me.My T-Mobile S3 lost all its calling,texting,data connection 3 weeks ago.My 4GLTE symbol disappeared and the signal strength bars constantly go from 3-4 bars to no service(circle with a slash through it) It was a T-Mobile phone that I swapped over to Straight Talk about 2 months ago.I called ST and they said that T-Mobile had put an IMEI block on it,so I called T-Mobile and they checked and said no such block was in effect for my phone.I called ST back and they said my SIM card was the problem and they shipped me a new SIM.I got it today and called and activated it.I can receive calls every now and then,i cant ever dial out because it says not registered on network. I noticed that even n ow with the new SIM installed,I still don't have 4G/LTE symbol ever. My phone is rooted with Root66 and has a TWRP recovery.Can someone please help me???
Not registered on network usually means that it has been blocked. Try a sim from T-Mobile if you can, to see if it will pick up service
