[Q] My S3 has no data connection PLEASE HELP!!! - T-Mobile, Samsung Galaxy SIII

This is my first post,so please bear with me.My T-Mobile S3 lost all its calling, texting, data connection 3 weeks ago.My 4GLTE symbol disappeared and the signal strength bars constantly go from 3-4 bars to no service(circle with a slash through it) It was a T-Mobile phone that I swapped over to Straight Talk about 2 months ago.I called ST and they said that T-Mobile had put an IMEI block on it,so I called T-Mobile and they checked and said no such block was in effect for my phone.I called ST back and they said my SIM card was the problem and they shipped me a new SIM.I got it today and called and activated it.I can receive calls every now and then,i cant ever dial out because it says not registered on network. I noticed that even n ow with the new SIM installed,I still don't have 4G/LTE symbol ever. My phone is rooted with Root66 and has a TWRP recovery. Can someone please help me???

Not registered on network usually means that it has been blocked. Try a sim from T-Mobile if you can, to see if it will pick up service

"Can't be completed as dialed" using Tmobile prepaid

Hey guys, I picked up a T-mobile galaxy S3 over black friday, and have been trying to use it with wifi calling for the past few days. Here is what is happening: I updated to 4.1.1 as soon as I opened the package. I setup the phone and then tried wifi calling. It worked the fiirst call, but later when I put dial in the number, within 1-2 seconds I get a "Your call cannot completed as dailed" message. I couldn't even dial 611 for customer care, but I could call my voicemail.... So after talking to customer service, I was told a new sim card would likely fix the problem, so I went to a T-mo store and got a new sim. They tested it once there, and it worked for the first call. I got home and it was doing the same thing as before, telling me my call couldn't be completed as dialed. On a whim, I put my wife's postpaid T-mobile sim card into the S3, and lo and behold, it worked, every time, flawlessly. I switched my prepaid sim back into the phone and it reverted back to not working again. I called up T-mo and talked to someone who finally referred my case to some engineers, but its been 3 days and I haven't heard back.
If I lived in a place with a good T-mobile signal, I wouldn't care, but I get less than 1 bar, and my data is edge, so I kind of need wifi calling. I've noticed when first booting up with my prepaid sim, I sometimes get the Reg99 cannot connect erorr, and the Err01 "Invalid certificate" error. But then the wifi calling later shows connected with a blue phone symbol saying it is ready to make calls.
I can sometimes receive calls over the wifi, but I can never make calls, only to my voicemail. I find it odd though that my wife's postpaid sim works just fine, every time, but my prepaid doesn't. Even though they are both the latest sim model number TM9190 or whatever.
If anyone has any ideas or solutions to this, please let me know.

I'm guessing my issue is a very rare one. I don't really see Nything else on the forums about it. Anyone have any guesses? Or anything I can test.

[Q] insert sim card to access network services

Hi Guys.
So received the phone on Thursday, Friday I did a sim swap from my normal sized sim to a micro sim. I waited the whole day but the phone didn't have any network access.
Today when I woke up I I switched the phone on hoping that everything will be fine, thinking the simswap just hasn't gone through yet, still no network access. I took out the swim from the phone and switched with my ipad, the sim was working in the ipad, and the ipads sim also didnt give the phone network access.
In the top right corner it shows full bars in grey, cant make emergency calls or anyhting.
In the about section of the phone, I have ALL the details present, baseband version is there, kernel version is there.
In Status section, network is unkown, signal strenght is -83 dbm 15 asu, network type unkown, service state is out of service, and the rest is also present.
I thought the phone didn't properly register to a network, so went into settings - wireless networks - more settings - mobile networks, but it gives me a insert sim card message.
The phone is reading the simcard fine because it asked for the PIN when switching on.
When trying to make a call I get, it says "Not registered on network"..
So what am I to do? Vodacom can only pickup the phone and exchange it on Tuesday, so was hoping that this might just be a software issue that can be resolved by a flash.
I have tried resetting / hard resetting the phone numerous times.
Its the Note 2 N7105 LTE Version
Any help would be highly appreciated.

Network Connection Issue

I've been using an S4 for about 2 weeks now, no problem. Last night I realized a text I sent never went through, and today my lock screen says "No Service" or "Searching" (despite the device showing full signal). I can't send/receive calls or texts, and I don't use a data connection. This SIM is also new (~2 weeks), and the device is neither rooted nor running a custom ROM. I've tried everything I could think of, like:
reboot
pull battery and SIM
confirmed APN settings on t-mobile site
tried alternate, non-"LTE" APN (epc tmobile com)
tried every network mode setting (GSM, GSM/WCDMA, etc.)
reset APN to default
turned on mobile data connection
manually scanned for networks (wouldn't connect to AT&T or T-mo)
select network automatically (wouldn't connect)
complete factory reset
I tried my SIM in another T-mo phone and it works; tried a different SIM in my S4 and it doesn't work. All other T-mo phones in my household are working fine. My S4 is definitely the problem here, but I don't see how the radio would just stop working after 2 weeks.
Has anyone else experienced/seen this? I never have, and it's driving me up a wall. I'm going to try my local T-mo store tomorrow, but I was hoping to fix it before then. Any help is greatly appreciated.
EDIT: I purchased the phone new on ebay. For a minute I thought the seller might have reported the phone stolen, but I checked the IMEI and it's clean.
Ive experience this but my service came back in about 25 minutes I did reset reboot battery pull sim pull it just came back on its own
Unrooted Samsung Galaxy S4 Up and Running
Rooted Mytouch 4G Slide retired
Rooted T-Mobile Sidekick Touch Obliterated
Rooted Mytouch 3G Slide Lost
Rooted T-Mobile G1 Dead
So I finally got to T-mobile today. Unfortunately, my hunch was right: the IMEI is blacklisted. Their in-house system must be more up to date than their web IMEI checker.
Time to solve this issue elsewhere.

[Q] TMobile Galaxy S2 in Indian network not getting registered

Its a unlocked TMobile samsung galaxy S2 (SGH - T989) from US which I am trying to use in India. I had bought it from t-mobile as part of a 2 year contract. After completing my two years contract, I got the phone unlocked from t-mobile before coming to India. The phone worked fine for first 15 days here in India but stopped working since then. I have tried many different SIM cards from different Indian mobile service providers. These SIM cards work perfectly fine on other handsets . *#06# shows correct IMEI which matches with what is printed on the back side. Phone shows signal towers with varying signal strength. I could see the signal towers even after disabling Wifi and location services but when i try to make a call, it says "Not registered on network". Wifi, if enabled, works fine though. When I try to select a network operator from Mobile networks menu, it does say registered to network occasionally but mostly it fails to connect to any network (i have tried both manual and automatic selection) but even if it says registered to network, when i try to make call, it says not registered on network so I am not able to make any calls at all. I have tried factory reset and upgraded to JB 4.1.2 (radio: UVMC6) but problem still stays. Please help me.
Did you try entering the correct apn ? Similar thing happened to me but i took it to the sim card company and they entered the apn manually and it worked.
Sent from my A=A Presents SHADOW using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
I did try APN but I believe that is for GPRS/EDGE and 3D and these will take effect once cell network is established.

can't find signal

hello everyone
so i've recently bought lg g3 phone model LGLS990
everything works just fine until i go into mobile networks and change the preferred network to LTE
when i do that i lose my phone signal and all i can do is emergency calling, it's like there is no sim card inserted anymore
and when that happens i can't even change the preferred network to gsm again
but before i've done that i could've used phone for calling and messaging and internet but internet wastes my credit tho i've got a data plan and it's way too slow
i think this is related to my threat each time i turn on the phone a dialog box appears says: "hands free activation contacting network"
a couple of seconds then it fails and there is an option that says activate when ever i click it, it tries to reach my mobile network provider i suppose but then it fails too showing this message: "Sorry - we experienced a system problem during your task. please dial *2 from your Sprint phone or call Customer Care at 1-888-211-4727 from another phone to complete your task."
**im pretty sure that the sim is okay since i use it on my old galaxy s3 phone and i use 3g just fine
**i've tried to change the preferred network to all of the options listed
**i bought it new but the seal wasn't on the box tho it couldn't be used i guess since the screen sticker was on it
**the one i bought it from have brought it from another country but it's not shown that the phone is locked, i've never used a phone with a locked sim so i really don't know how is it like :/
**when ever i open sim toolkit i find the network provider's name there but when i click on it it keeps loading and nothing happens
**the android version is kitkat 4.4.2
sorry for any language mistake and sorry for my modest knowledge
please reply asap so i can try to contact the guy i bought the device from and try to get back my money if it's unsolvable issue
thanks in advance
