Bluetooth Hardware error after upgrade - JASJAR, XDA Exec, MDA Pro Software Upgrading

I followed the instructions on upgrading my Universal to Wm6.1 (Ranju's v7.7) which included downgrading the Radio version to 0.00.00. Upgrade went fine for the most part but Bluetooth isn't working now and when I try to turn it on or discover another device I get a "bluetooth hardware error" message.
My radio version still shows up as 0.00.00 as there was no radio.bkf file in Ranju's update (I'm assuming) so should I install a new radio-only ROM and if so which version and where to find? I did a few searches on the forum but ended up going round in circles! Should this solve the BT problem?
Also can I just install the new radio ROM "on top" of the WM6.1 upgrade or will I need to do it all over again?

Just to let everyone know, after much reflashing and rebooting of both OS and Radio, I finally managed to get it to work by stopping the Extended ROM installation adding on all the O2 crapola after the initial ROM install. Might be useful info for anyone else having this issue in the future ...

i dont understand what its the O2 caprola, what did you do exactly because i have the same problem after i upgrade to WM6

Can't upgrade radio rom

I can upgrade everything BUT the radio ROM on my BlueAngel.
Anyone else ran into this? I've tried every radio ROM version I can find, but it fails every time giving an error dialog instructing to contact the vendor. After this, the entire unit is locked until I flash the ROM and ExtROM again. I really need to update the radio portion because I'm getting complaints about the well documented "echo" problem these units with older ROM versions are prone to. FYI, in case it matters, I've been using the unit with a Cingular SIM. HELP!!!!
Model: PH20B
ROM: 1.40.00 WWE
ExtROM:1.40.176
Radio ROM: 0.91.00 (Can't update this)

Imate JAM radio stack fail

can anyone help me revive my Imate JAM, No GSM! I tried ROM upgrade to the latest version from clubimate ERROR 120:COUNTRY ID ERROR! Thankfully i run into this MaUpgradeUt_noID in this forum and was able to revive my unit , i thought i was home free. A week later No GSM again! Since then my JAM is just a PDA, all works fine except the phone. If i run the upgrade utility it stops at radio stack. I tried upgrading without the radio stack( remove the radio stack file from the folder which contains all the upgrade files) it succeeds..well not really i still have no radio rom installed. Is it end of the road for my device? HELP! Please...

Radio rom working, but can't be upgraded

I am unable to upgrade radio ROM on my O2 XDA Exec (SIM-free).
When trying to upgrade radio rom from either the bootloader or OS itself, the upgrade process stops at 0% and after 2-3 minutes I get the “error 114: Radio rom update error”. Tried advices found in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=296901 and http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=296393&page=2, but to no avail.
I'd like to point out that my problem is slightly different because I have not able to upgrade radio ROM at all and the rom the device came with is still working.
Currently the device has Jwrightmcps's Crossbow ROM 2.02.00 (installed without the radio part and v1.01 bootloader. Radio ROM version 1.04.02.
Any help would be highly appreciated.

WM6 update problems with Hard SPL [communication error]

A lot of us are experiencing a misterious error ("communication problem") while trying to update HTC Trinity with an official WM6 ROM update (one of those released out of Europe) using Hard SPL as a way to bypass CID checking.
Anybody has found a workaround?
I dont see how a communication error can occur while an official ROM mounts correctly - I tend to think that HTC has added some extra checking of the installed SPL version and comes out with a deliberately confusing error message.
Help is needed!
Thanks to you all.
My Trinity has italian ROM and I mount HardSPL 1.3 for bypassing CID control (SoftSPL or HardSPL 1.2 simply dont work as the HTC update procedure simply reinstalls the original SPL).
are you running Vista? If so that causes communication errors.
No, I use XP. And as I said the problem doesnt show up with the original WM5 ROM version, only with the latest WM6 ROM.
have you tried using the modified RUU of the official update?
No and I dont know what kind of modification do you mean!
I am not so much willing to install cooked ROMs unless I know what is in there.
Still waiting somebody to understand the nature of this "communication error" and how to overcome it ....
is there a number code by the error?
basically, the official ROMs gave a lot of people trouble to install.. something to do with the new RUU and hard-spl or something... so people took the nbh file out of the new installer, and put it in the old installer (no ipl, spl, etc) and it seems to work like a charm. It's not cooked.. still official..
i was thinking it might fit your needs, since you weren't wanting your hard-spl to be overwritten by new bootloader anyway...
Thanks, I will try to do as you suggest as soon as I have time to do it!
Concerning the error code I dont remember, I will note it next time ... anyhow it is a strange message, I dont see how a communication error can occur in that situation (some people suggests it is a comm problem PC<-->Trinity, I dont see how it could happen only with the new RUU).
About modified bootloaders, SoftSPL and HardSPL 1.2 do not work (the RUU install just wipes them away); HardSPL 1.3 stays there - not sure his presence is part of the "error" (as the HTC guys could easily detect its presence in their update routine).
Finally I dont understand why HTC is not giving away Trinity WM6 to all customers worldwide - again I dont belive there are "radio" differences between Asia/Australia and the rest of the world - it must be some marketing decision against the interest of customers (the may even wait to have it in all european languages - but why not in english at the beginning?).

herm200 wont send text messages!

i flashed wm6.1 tnt to my hermes a few days ago and it worked like a charm, for a week atleast, till yesterday when it started delaying sending text messages, since texting is what i do all the time, it got pretty irritating, i thought it might be congestion from my service provider so i called em up and lodged a complaint, however when i shifted my sim to a nokia the messages started going fine, now thinking it might be a rom problem i flashed the official htc 6.0 rom but it had the same problem and then i downloaded crc_r11 rom which is the best one ive had as yet, it worked fine for about half a day and now its started giving me the error, 'text message cannot be sent' and that too after like a minute or two of trying to send it, shifting the sim to another phone fixes the problem... does anyone know a solution to this? my ipl is 1.04 and spl is 1.40 olipro
right now im downgrading to wm5 to see if that fixes the problem but i really loved crc v11
could this be a radio rom problem?
Yes. what radio are you using?
best practice is to flash with your carrier's shipped rom, and then upgrade/downgrade radio and then flash with crc's which I love too!
guess what. i just went into device information to check which radio rom version i have and.... its all blank! no rom version no radio rom version no protocol version no rom date! in the next window that has information on memory and colours etc theres a load of random characters. i mean nothing readable. and in the outgoing and incoming call timer fields it says 'unknown'
whats going on :s
i just hard reset my device
got this
radio version
1.48.00.10
See how you get on with your Radio showing up now. If you want to change make sure you follow the guidlines in the WIKI as upgrading the Radio is the most dangerous thing you do with your phone. (unless you take it high board diving with you... )
which radio rom version shud i use then in your opinion?
i just downgraded my phone to the stock vodafone rom that it came with and the radio rom version is 1.32.00 however the wm6.1 roms are 1.48 as i told u before, shud i install them new windows and then downgrade the radio rom?
i tried what zocster said, flashing vodafones wm5 rom downgraded my radio rom to 1.32 and then i upgraded to crc 11 and the radio rom stayed the same so all systems go till now
thanks guys!
