good day to all... pls help me in my atom.. my atom is having a problem... the right channel speaker is gnarling sounded like a tearing paper when playing any kind of sound...
im planning to send it again to my local manufacturer for warranty service, the problem is I have upgraded it to kumara series last present... I need to downgrade to its original ROM.. now, I have downloaded a ROM from seeo2.com atom specs philippines "Xda-Atom-ENG-20060426-MOT0822.zip" is it safe to downgrade? will it brick my atom
please kindly help me out here... ive been waiting for almost 2 weeks for advices suggestions and other opinions... i would really appreciate if someone could spare his 5 minutes on my dilema here.. thanks

I'm trying to repair a water damaged XDA II so I need disasemble manual for it so I can put the main board in the ultra sonic cleaner.
The problem with the phone is is that the back night doesn't work.

i have lately get my phone stuck every 5 minutes , freeze , and other stuff.
i tryed to hard reset the device , but nothing helped.
i dont have warranty , so i cant send it in to htc support service.
dos any one know please a good repair shop for the artemis ? i think it has a hardware problem , maybe the cpu ,or the ram , or the gsm radio , or else.

I've had an o2 Ignito for the last year and its given me no trouble whatsoever.
I've tried various roms for it, all with no problems.
All of a sudden, I'm getting no signal at all. o2 confirm the phone has not been blacklisted or anything and my sim card works ok in other phones.
Any ideas?
o2 have said send it back and we'll repair it... I've got a cooked rom on there of course.
I've got a o2 stock rom called: Xda Ignit2_UK_2.10.206.1_Radio_Signed_Diamond_52.62.25.34_1.13.25.24_Ship.exe Would that be enough to get past they're security checks? Do I need to remove HardSPL 1st? I've searched the site and I can't get my head round doing it.

Reverting to stock SPL is always the last step.....be sure tot restore stock ROM and radio first.

The stockROM you mention has a radio in it (it's the last part of the description) so when you put this on it you're good to go.

In the end it was the main board that went so that's been replaced. So new EMEI number :|
Is there an easy/cheap/FREE way of unlocking it? I'm thinking of selling it because I've lost the heart with it somewhat.

O2 uk dont lock their phones! i have an ignito! they are not sim locked

Sell it, or get an upgrade.. Or just unlock it again. All three are just about as easy as each other. I stumbled upon a complete noob guide to flashing the other day. I think once you have a custom SPL on there you're good to do pretty much anything.
