i flashed a few new rom, but i cannot remember which rom is it. i think it's the CRC
the builder included a special verison of schap's advance config. It shows which one is the defalut setting and let you enable/disable sms threading in wm6.1.
if you have flashed that rom, you should know what i am talking about.
please let me know where i can download the cab. i cannot find it in the offical schap's config thread.

just wanted to draw attention to this problem.
the official link provided for the tytn rom download does not have the "network wizard". can any one upload the cab or let me know whether i would need to do the settings manually. its a real pain doin those manually...

Hi guys, I started this topic for anyone that would like to cook custom ROM's for the Samsung SGH-i780 PDA.
So my first questions .. hopefully someone will know the answer I am working with the latest HL1 ROM and using EFN's kitchen (Thank you EFN!):
1. I am trying to add RealVGA to the cooked ROM - not via CAB but directly.. however I can't seem to find any guide on how to do this and EFN hasn't been to the forums for some days. Does anyone else know HOW this can be accomplished?
2. Page pool - I've asked several times yet noone has replied.. so, again - does anyone know how to change the page pool on the Samsung SGH-i780? PLEASE someone must know how to do this
That's the first two questions, more will come in time when I try to do some more advanced cooking
So far the kitchen provided by EFN seems quite easy and I've compiled working test ROM's (i.e. with Manilla 2D, removed ringtones.. etc.) - nothing too spectacular yet it's good to know these simple things work.

TF3D/manila 2.5 interface that's flying arnd the forum. But don't know how to go about doing it.
Is there a step-by-step dummies guide somewhere in the forum?
Frm what I can gathered, i think i need to flash my ROM before I can do anything. I see there are so many ROMs around but which should I use?
Info abt my device .. WM6.1 Pro, CE OS 5.2.20757 (Build 20757.1.4.0).

You will need a rom with TF3D 2.5. Take a look in the rom section and decide for yourself which one to go for based on what people have said in the threads. Bare in mind you can always flash another rom if you don't like it anyway...
At the time of writing Miri's Rev7.1 and Dutty's Leo R2 are the only roms with the very latest TF3D 2.5 (sometimes referred to as 2.6 as it has a weather panel and animated weather on the home screen).

learning to cook right now and i was looking for the 21877 rom from the com2 tree (for the raphael in case) that will work with the visual kitchen. i have seen a few different things but want to really try to cook with the right tools. also, is there a thread like the 6.5.3 that is update with the latest builds?

I have no language files, so you have only th3 0409 WWe here....ive made a request post for some language but iv got no answer.
Da_G thread is too much long because its plenty of request of help and other stuffs...IMHO it should be made only for the latest build and should made another thread for Helping people with the WM builds.
In another note, if people instead of put link to the latest build will make a simple txt file with inside that link, we all togheter should be able to get them from the main "windows software dev" thread without search inside it.

since touchflo itself is not published as cab files to simply install, you need to flash a rom that comes with the version you like. you'll find different roms here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=453
