just wanted to draw attention to this problem.
the official link provided for the tytn rom download does not have the "network wizard". can any one upload the cab or let me know whether i would need to do the settings manually. its a real pain doin those manually...

First you need know your device, so go to the wiki
Then my advice is install Hard-SPL you k see in the Hard-SPL Thread
Then to flash you need the Rom and read this Tutorial Flashing WM6 ROMs

I didn't think that the site posted up is Schaps own.
Have got a niggling feeling that this site was set up by someone else to ease the difficulty some people were having with accessing/downloading from megashare and rapidload.

If it was Schap's then his name in the title should be correct and not shap's , IMHO.
yeh, he has no web site in his signature...you would think he would advertize it if it was official.

Noticed that too. The good thing is, the donate information is the same as in Schap's signature, so while it may be a knockoff, the webmaster definitely has his/her heart in the right place...
yeah, I've donated to schaps through this site, and he definately got it. Need to keep rewarding the guy for all his hard work!!

i flashed a few new rom, but i cannot remember which rom is it. i think it's the CRC
the builder included a special verison of schap's advance config. It shows which one is the defalut setting and let you enable/disable sms threading in wm6.1.
if you have flashed that rom, you should know what i am talking about.
please let me know where i can download the cab. i cannot find it in the offical schap's config thread.

for what i know the WM6.1 official t-mobile rom in dutch doesn't exist. only the WM6 exists!

Only knew that my uncle flashed an cooked instable rom. Now he wants the original back and he didn't backup the old rom.

Strange, there used to be a download for the MDA Compact III WM6 ROM at the T-Mobile site and it linked to this page:

But it seems this has expired.
Anyway I still have the file on my computer and it's called:
Hero_WM6_TMNL_3.15.114.2.zip
Inside there is a file called:
RUU_Artemis_TMO_NL_3.15.114.2_4.1.13.50_03.06.90_Ship.exe
which is the one you need.

There is no official release for shipped rom for Love.
That thread is from a rebuild love dump i think, but it's not 100% garantied.

and every time i launch QuickGPS i get the error "failed to create empty document"

Having the same issue here, tried to install most cabs of quickgps I could find on the forum, but no cigar. Anyone who has a working version of quickgps for wm6.5 please post the cab here.
I found one for the Omnia that updates properly in 6.5....at least on my Raphael 800.
However, the display is kinda fuxed up (screen resolution differences?)....but you can figure it out enough to set it up for automatic updates.
