Change rom language on MDA compact

First of all hi everyone
I've find on ebay a mda compact t-mobile, and i want to buy it, but the language is german. How can i change the language... i hope it's possible... help me pls 8)

You download the rom you want from this wonderful site!
That changes the org. rom (forever) to the chosen one in english from I-mat, Qtek, MDA UK, and so on....

wow... it's so simple?! i need only a file? i read somewhere that i need to unlock the smartphone... it's true?

You have to unlock it - search here theres made a new free unlock programme....or through www.imei-check.co.uk

For unlock you mean to unlock for all sim? If the answer is yes, this phone is yet unlocked...

I see there is a lot of rom for several type magician alpine ecc... what for the mda compact? :shock:

But another one question... the link in the post you've linked to me (a word joke ) to the imate rom don't exist... i think that is not still valid... where can i find a new rom? The procedure listed in the post is the same for all rom? The language suffix (WWE for example) that i have to use is from the rom installed or downloaded? (if i have germany rom installed and download a uk rom i have to insert WWE in the batch file?)
Sorry for all this question but how can you see i'm a really newbie

I´ve looked for it - someone has deleted it from downloads?
WWE is for english, you have to use your german suffix for your new UK-rom...

But i need a simply answer: Is matematically that all the mda compact are unlockable? Or is possible to have some problems? :?

i dont know how? Go to www.t-mobile.de / Klingeltöne&mehr / select your Phone "Mein Handy - Modell ändern" / Software&Konfiguration / Gerätesoftware. There you will find it. Its Aku3.3 and its damm fast!

Is this WWE or German ROM? Beside when you say it is fast. What you have been using before this ROM

As the Man Stated on the Top,The Rom is in German,if you can't find your way through the Page because of the language,then the Rom is NOT for you..

The Rom is german. I use a lot of Roms before, the best an most stable one, was KDSkamal, WM5 Ultimate edition. Now i will test this official Rom from T-Mobile. If KDSkamals Rom is in german, it will be perfectly! Sorry, for my bad english.

Hi Alex,
Of course the ROM will initially be in German.
But is the language customizable? Can you change it to WWE?
I've tested the S710, and that device you could change the language of the OS. You had to do a hardreset afterwards, but ah, you've just did a ROM-upgrade so everything is gone anyhow.

Any ideas on this from anyone?
Changing regional settings doesn't do much. Try changing them to German or anything in your WWE ROM and you'll see the vast majority of the OS is still English.

Changing Regional settings will not change the OS language. In order to change the OS language you would need to exchange all the *.mui files ( Like "shellres.dll.0407.mui" for german ) with English *.mui files

New HTC 9110 chinese to english conversion

Hello, I'm really sorry for asking a noob questions but here it comes:
1. I bought this new device from Taiwan (business trip) after a hot recommendation from one of my local friends.
2. He convinced me that it should be "very easy" to change the language to english.
3. I was not able to return it and now I can't fix the problem and I'm stuck with it.
4. Please help

its seem you have to wait now (like me),
I also got CHT9110 from Taiwan with Chinease Rom, I did install all necessary program (english), enable my language and add my language key board.. so i can use it now, just only the menu still chinease. but no prob for me as i familier with PPC for few yeas. but I still hope some day, our man will be unlock it and we can enjoy the customized rom.

Can you please list the programs you are using so I can also benefit your experiance ? What about changing some of the .mui files, can that help ?

i'm from Thailand, thers a cab name Thai enable, this allow me to read Thai language, and then I install Thai keyboard, thats made me able to read and type Thai & English. you can visit http://en.pdamobiz.com/en/ to find what i said.

Finnish stock ROM

Does anyone know where to find a Finnish stock ROM? I bought my phone in Germany and if I fill in the device serial number at the HTC website I'm only allowed to download a file named "TouchDiamond_German(2.03.4.07.3)". That sucks

I don't know if I'm stupid or what, but it doesn't say if the above link to the stock ROM is Finnish or something else?
I've runned several different ROMs, currently aFast v2.03. I just need to have a unmodified Finnsih stock ROM right now for some other reason, if there is one?

I just downloaded the latest Finnish original rom, but i don`t know how to share it whit you. Allso i made my own 6.5 finnish rom, but it is not so perfect but it works Mukavaa nähdä muitakin meikäläisiä täällä.

There isnt finnish STOCK rom at this time, but you can install .cab file for finnish touchflo 3D
