Y dont u try a samsung epix rom i heard the epix is just like the i780 but with wm6.1 and some tweaks

You can go to the Samsung website and check the WM6.1 update information. There is detailed instruction on how to update
I just upgrade my samsung I780 from FMG service center at 2nd Floor Lowyat Plaza, Take around 3 hours and then after 3 hours the technician said my phone upgrade half way got problems, so i ask to downgrade also cannot then when start phone hang in the welcome there, then later they said need to change motherboard cause got chips spoil need RM600++ ,and i ask before that trade in only RM350, so luckily my warranty period still got 1 moths left, need 1 to 2 weeks to change things inside, so want upgrade faster go any FMG service center then you can upgrade FOC!!! just a short question regarding windows mobile 6 for the i600. Now, after the wm6 update was announced for the blackjack, do you think it will be possible to “export” the wm6 pda part of the blackjack to flash it to an i600 (but keeping the i600 radios incl. wifi)? for some reasons, I have the fear Samsung will not release a wm6 update for the i600 but I would love to update my i600 to wm6.
any thoughts?

well it's Samsung that's releasing WM6 to Cingular for testing. I strongly doubt they'd go through the trouble of providing a stable build to Cingular yet not use it themselves...

Don't risk it. Anything that belongs to PDA ROM from i600 will not work entirely on i607 even if you keep your origninal Radio ROM. I tested my Cingular Blackjack and had no camera ('Can not connect to external camera' message) or vibra allerts after the flash with unbranded i600 PDA ROM. I do not own an i600, but pretty much aware of the consequenced after the upgrade on i607.

I agree, i have read about lots people trying to put the i607 ROM on the i600 and vica-versa, all negative...dont try it.

Exactly what I experienced, trying to upgrade my i600 with i607 rom and it's a disaster. I cannot turn it on, it keeps power off instantly. Anyone know where I can download the original rom for i600? So I can get it back to its original state? Please... Thanks.
you should be able to put the i600 into bootloader mode and reflash with an i600 rom and it should be back up and running again
Update i600 with i607 rom
It doesn't work cause when I have installed the modem driver, uncheck the box in "allow USB connection in Active sync", connect the phone with USB and put the phone in bootloader mode, my PC doesn't recognize the phone at all. In the i600 there is only display Xcingular 1.2 , phone mode off. Phone not connected to PC. I read in ModaCo that I should use Serial cable data not USB cable data. Is it true? Anyone knows?

I think it is possible to port wm5 or wm6 in i300,but there isn't anyone to do this .

Can you please tell me if I can put a SD with a capacity bigger than 2 gb?

No, it's new but p3300 has istallaed wm 5.0, I've already checked.
Does the patch works also for wm 5.0?
I just buy a p3300 for my girl and it's a WM6: WM5 is too old, you think about a "last piece" of an old stock!!!

Sorry - I am a complete novice to ROM upgrades etc...
I have an MDA Touch Plus Mobile with T-Mobile, running Windows Mobile 6.0.
I want to upgrade to WM 6.1 or 6.5, however the HTC website suggest that my phone (via S/N number) is not valid for the 6.1 upgrade...
T-Mobile support is worse than pathetic and offer no advice at all...
Can anyone suggest if it's possible to get the upgrade for my phone and how I would go about it...?
( Remember I'm a novice to Rom upgrades!)

First install the Hard SPL boot loader, after that install a custom rom with wether wm6.1 or wm6.5.

I want to upgrade my O2 XDA Orbit to WM 6.5 but can't find any thing on the internet... there are quite a few websites talking about it but none of them have a link for the software or the list of instructions to follow. I am fairly new to this whole upgrading thing, so would really appreciate if one you can please push me in the right direction.
The details of my mobile phone are:
Model: O2 XDA Orbit
Processor: OMAP850-201MHz

you need to look in the artemis section
look in my signature for some of the ROMs i have made (they are a bit old since i am away from the artemis scene these days)

i put wm6.5 on my orbit and works well....but i have a problem...after a while it blocks...and i have to remove the battery if i want to start it again...what to do?..I don't have the original ROM to see if the problem is the same...help...sorry my english is bad...
never mind ... I tried to update the rom again and around 40% died and no longer starts
... can somebody tel my if i yhere is any chance to make it work?...
