I780 becomes Unresponsive on resume/ or from sleep mode - Upgrading, Modifying and Unlocking

Hello,
I am loving my I780.
But if it is not used for a while, when you activate from standby using the
power button, it hangs and has to be restarted.
I have already ugraded the firmware twice with no improvement?
One time after hanging, I didn't switch it off immediately and an error report appeared with "filesys.exe" as the culprit
Any ideas on a solution for this?

Phone Version: i780PUHE1
Please help

did you try updating your rom with official one to see if it not hardware?

hi i am newb here, i just installed the wm6 rom to my phone dopod m700, after it has complete installed, a white screen say error device start up failed due to sudden loss of power. please click yes to continue and note do not remove battery before di=evice has been completely shutdown. i did clicked yes to continue, but the screen came back the same, please some one help, thank you
I'm having the same problem with WM6...any ideas? Sometimes it boots normally, sometimes it is just stucked ony the HTC Logo (i'm running Touch Full Version of meschle's)
And there are times that the 128MB Flash doesn't seem to be detected...

Problems with hanging and signal

I have done everything from flashing to unrooting and the issue still persist.
The hanging occurs after start up and takes approx. 3-5 minutes to hang.
I am running stock firmware.
Whenever I tried to check the settings, the screen and touch keys would freeze.
However, the power button still functions. I am having no signal at all.
When i get the chance to check the baseband version, it would say "Baseband Version: UNKNOWN."
The battery is running good and doesn't appear to be the problem.
The phone is unlocked and running on AT&T service. I have done factory reset and still does not help.
Anyone have a clue what to do?

[Q] T-Mobile Galaxy S III Crash/Reboot

Hi all,
Today my T-Mobile Galaxy S III that I purchased in February 2013 started to behave strangely. At first everything is fine for around 5 minutes but then it heats up a lot so I turn off data and close all non-important apps. Then it freezes up at the screen it is at and none of the buttons except the power button(which just turns the screen on and off, I can't even access the menu from holding it) work and then it will reboot itself. After 5 more minutes it will repeat this process again and again. This happened for a brief time back in August but I fixed it through booting through safe mode and then restarted it which caused it to work. I tried that this time but after removing the battery for about 30 minutes and then doing the safe mode procedure, and restarting it, it still crashes. The peculiar thing is however, that it works perfectly fine in safe mode but otherwise crashes after 5-7 minutes. I have rooted this phone back in February but I haven't installed any custom roms. Is there any way to fix this without factory reset as I would like to keep all of my apps and files intact. My phone info is as follows: Model Number SGH-T999. Android Version: 4.1.1 Baseband version: T999UVDLJA. Build Number: JRO03L.T999UVDLJA.
Thanks a lot in advance! I would really appreciate any help.
Update your firmware. Otherwise you probably have to factory reset and start clean

Well, one thing is your firmware is way outdated. We're almost on 4.3 officially. But the latest official version is 4.1.2. A combination of battery, modem, kernel, cause these issues. But since you're still on 4.1.1 I assume you're pure stock.
What type of battery do you have, the original Samsung one?
Can you send a link to a tutorial on how to upgrade my firmware? Since I rooted my phone, I can't do OTA updates. And yes I do have the default Samsung battery.
Link is in my sig
