Hi,
Is there any to get the diamond to work with QPST, I guess it needs the wireless modem mode?? Thanks!
DrD
Hello,
I have the same problem to connect Diamond with QPST. The Diamond of mine is WCDMA version. I have tried to dial ##3424, ##3424# and ##DIAG, but it didn't work. Besides, I put the dmrouter.exe into the phone and executed it. But there is no new com port while pressing "Start" button.
Does anyone know how to connect Diamond with QPST? Should I upgrade the rom?
Thanks in advance.

I am pretty sure QPST is not freeware, shareware or any kind of ware for which the use is endorsed on this forum. I doubt you will get any replies here. QPST isn't really to be played with if you don't know what you are doing; or better put, if you are not a qualcomm engineer.

With the diamond I think you have to go into wmdc and disable usb connections, put the phone into diag mode (usually ##diag# or ##3424#) and then plug it in. Should show up in the comm manager as "htc diagnostic port" assuming you're using the correct driver. It's posted somewhere around these forums I think, you can search it out.
Silent: What sys are/were you using and did flashing a new rom fix you up as far as entering diag mode?

you did huh?
Key words "sanyo mirro" "written to the HTC Evo".
Why did you do that? That doesn't sound like a smart idea at all, if you can fix it (cuz no one I know has tried to do put anything like that from a Sanyo to an Android phone) you probably shouldn't try it again.
Flash the rite nv there in the dev thread

Hi,
I've tried to link my phone up to QPST but ever time I try to add new port it comes up with: There was an error enabling. The port may not be working or maybe busy.
I've put my phone into diag mode using this guide- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1619314 and it didn't give me an error so I assume it's in Diag mode.
I then booted it into fastboot went to device manager and noted down the com port (com1) and I tried to add it in QPST to be greeted with the error mentioned above.
Any help would be much appreciated as I am a beginner.

The problem is that there is no Qualcomm modem or SoC to speak of.
oh thx bro
Hi,
Thanks for clearing it up! You saved me alot of wasted time. Are there any utilities that allow me to do the stuff that QPST does? I would like to debrand the phone from all the 02 nonsense that it's been sold to me with. I've done googling and I've found custom roms debrand although I'm not confident with roms as I hard bricked my old Galaxy.

QPST is something to do with Qualcom?
This forum is for the quad core Tegra 3 One X, not the dual core Snapdragon. If you can't find the right phone, I'm not surprised you bricked one. Anyway, bricking an HTC is harder due to the bootloader, but I wouldn't recommend you try it.

I have the same problem!! Flashed a Galaxy Note 2 SPH-L900 back to the stock lj1 rom so it would read cause the 4.1.2 doesn't work from what everyone was saying and even then I still cant read the phone even with the Msl! It connects to the com port, I hit read and I get Failed...phone does not answer!! I changed the modem to lj1 and ljc hard reset even the *##786# to rest the phone numbers and all and still wont connect.I have the correct usb drivers and I put it in DIAG Mode using ##3424# selected PDA and then hit qualcom usb settings..then select DM+MODEM+ADB. I'm using CDMA WS 3.8.0 AND QPST 2.7 V 378
I've flashed many phones and never had this problem...any help???
You guys are doing way too much. A) 4.1.2 works perfectly fine for flashing anything B) I've flashed a 4.3 (MK4) L900 to Boost just fine. You do NOT need to downgrade anything. C) If other phones connect fine but yours doesn't then it could possibly be a bad USB port on that particular phone.
IF your problem phone DOES show a COM port in device manager but won't connect, put it back into MTP USB mode, disable USB debugging, restart the phone (shut it down, pull the battery, put the battery back in, power up the phone) and put it on DM+MODEM+ADB. DO NOT ENABLE USB DEBUGGING THROUGH THE SETTINGS MENU. IT WILL BE ENABLED THROUGH QUALCOMM USB SETTINGS!!! This has worked for every "bricked" DM port S3 and Note 2 I've come across.

I am trying to connect my Sprint L520 to CDMA workshop and seem to be getting no go on it. It is on Android 4.2.2 running stock unrooted ROM. The phone will show up in CDMA as the Samsung Mobile USB Serial Port but when I hit connect it connects but when I put the SPC which is not 6 zeroes (got it from MSL UTILITY) It says phone does not respond. any ideas? I am assuming there is somewhere another Hidden menu that is still disabled which I will need to toggle before I can successfully connect to CDMA. I got it on DM+Modem+ADB plus USB Debugging. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated!
Not entirely sure or not of what you're trying to do but I'll say this. Try a different usb port. Make sure there's only one instance of that work shop going. Restart the device and pc. Follow another guide or find out if knox is preventing you.
