There are 3 way:
1) Start->Settings->System tab->Master Clerar->1234->ok
2)Press soft-reset for 15sec.
3)Remove the battery, Simultaneously hold volume(-) button and red hangup button, while still holding those keys, insert the battery and wait for the led to go out, release keys and device will hard reset.

What happens when you take away the battery and plug it again.

Taken from : http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Artemis_Resets
To do a hard reset.
Press both soft keys and insert stylus into soft reset button and press.
Release the soft reset button and keep pressing the soft keys.
When the "This operation will delete all your personal data, to manufacturer default" appears on screen.
Press Green call button to restore manufacturer default, or press other keys to cancel.
The bootloader is invoked by pressing down the Power and Voicedialer buttons simultaneously, and using the stylus at the same time to press the RESET button at the left side. Continue pressing the two buttons for a few seconds after pressing and releasing the reset button until the bootloader screen appears.

Hi guys
there is one SPV C600 which auto power on when nyou insert the battery, then it wont power off with the power button.
if you let it boot, after booting it works ok until you press any key, when youu press any key the phone vibrates and start a powerdown sequence but doesnt power off at all, the blue light shines fro mtime to time, after this if you utry to power it on it doesnt unless you replace the battery, if you let it unattended it wwill reboot itself and stay on until you hit any key and again and again.
For some reason it caant connect to ActiveSync, when you power on thej phone and coonnect it to ActiveSync it automatically power off again as if you typed any key.
Because of automatic poweron the Boot Loader trick for HardReset doesnt works.
I would like to know if someone has experienced the same problems and if some guru has any idea how to deal with this.
For those of us who get frustrated with the reset button being hidden under the TP2 cover, I'm happy to have just discovered that you don't even need to go there... Just hold down the volume down button and do a soft reset from within the software and hey presto. Same result.
For a hard reset?
Never needed a stylus.
Just navigate to Settings - All Settings - System - Clear storage - 1234 - Done.
Easy enough with my finger.
And where do you find a soft-reset button on you Rhodium??
(I had to install Smaberg's util for a softreset button)
personally I downloaded the "reboot" app from the market place...

take the cover off, opposite side of the vol. buttons.
Holding down the volume? That doesn't do anything on my Tilt2.
I usually use the HD Soft Reset applet that installs along with HD Tweak (placed it in the TouchFlo Programs tab for quick access). Or else I just hold the power button to shutdown, then power up again. The latter "usually" works when other things on the phone are locking up. But occasionally the phone will be completely frozen, and I need to resort to the stylus button inside the battery cover.
Vol Down? this accesses the boot loader not Hard Reset!
in anycase you don't need the stylus my friend.
Hard Reset : Switch Off the phone, hold call + endcall and power button.
Boot Loader : Switch off the phone, Hold Vol Down + power button.
cheers
^ What he said. I just hard reset the other day using this method, worked like a charm
Any way to reset the phone when it's locked up without taking the cover off?
Is there a way to manually hard reset the TP2 w/o having to go into settings??
Please help!!
Turn off your phone completely. If buttons and touch screen become unresponsive, pull the battery out.
Hold both "send" and "end" button, then press and hold "power" button. Follow the on screen instructions.
for verizon
Hold down the end key till the device powers off, then hold volume down, send
and end till you see blue text on a white background. Follow hard reset prompt

I think this is for the At&t version below
1. Turn off the TP2. In my case, I had to pull the battery out since the on-off button didn't work
2. Press and hold the SEND and END keys simultaneously
3. While continuing to hold the SEND and END keys, press the POWER BUTTON (a bit of finger contortion here)
4. Press the VOLUME UP button

Hold the TALK, END, and backlight( on top of the phone) With the phone off till you get the reset screen. or if the phone is on then hold all 3 and use the stylus to hit the reset button till you get to the screen to reset.
Info found here
I can't start it up anymore, the screen went black and just won't turn on anymore. The computer doens't recognize the phone as a device anymore, I've tried taking the battery out and all, it was running cm12
Hold vol down + power. As soon as you see the LG logo, release both buttons and quickly hold them together again. You have to be quick. If it works that is, you'll be presented with the factory reset screen, vol buttons to highlight, power button to select good luck
