Dutch spell check and Auto-complete, here it is!

Hi!
I'm a Dutch guy and I have got a 2020i with an English ROM.
The only downside is that spell checking and auto-complete is English too, while most of my documents and SMS messages are in Dutch.
The file attached contains the three files needed to implement Dutch spell check and auto-complete on your device.
I have tested it on the Alpine and on the Wizard and it works!
The instructions in the readme are in Dutch.

I've tested on Qtek 2020 (Himalaya) with ROM 1.75.00WWE.

Pietsukkel, wat fleurt me het zien van jouw progje me op… Hopelijk is het na uitpakken een a.p.k file. Weet u, ik ben nieuw op android en zocht me te pletter! Ik had tot een paar maanden een iphone waarop SpellChecker draaide… Deze app is tot nu toe ongeëvenaard gebleken, men kon de verbeterde teksten los kopiëren en op wensite, mail en zo voort posten… Maar goed, iemand zal het wel eens voor android klaar krijgen, laat ons hopen!

Esmertec Java Application problem

Hi, I flashed to my M650 new Artemis Touch 3.0 and 3.01. This ROM is superb.
Unfortetly I have problem with Esmertec Java.
After install miniOpera 4.0 (or other java app) everything working OK.
But after Soft Reset (and also shutdown) JAVA apps doesn't start.
I see splashing screen with "running man" on my PPC and thats all. Apps gone.
I don't have any other applications.
What I should check in my M650 to solve problem.

witam mialem podobny problem! prawdopodobnie pojawia sie po zmianie ustawien regionalnych na polske. tak wiec jezeli dokonales zmiany to pozostaje flashowanie romu jeszcze raz bo nawet po przywróceniu ustawień regionalnych dla anglii java nie zatrybi. pozdrawiam

Can't Flash - USB Dead (Only Charging), No WLAN, no Bluetooth

Hey Guys (and Girls of course),
a friend of mine (really, i don't own a Diamond) has got some serious problems with his diamond.
Following issues:
* USB Data seems to dead, Charging works but even in Bootloader-Mode the PC doesn't even recognize there's something attached to USB
* WLAN and Bluetooth can be enabled but are actually as dead as USB is
As flashing via USB won't work because the Diamond won't be recoginzed we tried to flash it via Internal Storage (DIAMIMG.NBH was downloaded via 3G-Online connection). We tried this with the latest official ROM for the Device (o2 Germany).
The bad thing... it doesn't work, too... the Bootloader seems to be stuck on "Loading..." (at least it stood there for 10hours).
I also tried flashing a different SPL, but that fails, too... as with the full image it's staying forever at "Loading..."
Any Chance to revive the Device somehow??

1. do you have HARSPL still on it ?
- if yes, then do a hard reset with formating your NAND
then get the device back on ! try to connect to usb, if not possible,
download a ROM like AZTOR with radio build in !
Try the DIAMIMG.nbh way from you internal storage !
If not successful try to get QMAT http://revskills.de/ and ask viperbjk to help you, be kind get his software and i think he will help out.
If you are in Hamburg I could possibly help you either !

I'm living in Munich, the owner of the Device is living near Passau, so Hamburg is not "just around the corner"... but thx for offering ur help anyways!

Ruf Deinen Kumpel mal an und sag ihm,er soll den Diamond über den internen Speicher flashen.
Alternativ-Methode um Diamondroms zu flashen:
Die NBH muss zwingend Diamimg.nbh heissen,also RUU_signed.nbh umbenennen oder gleich ein neues ROM ziehen,evtl.hier:

Kopiere die Datei auf den internen Speicher.
Dann folgende Tastenkombinationen drücken:
Volume down und Pfeil-taste (<-) gleichzeitig gedrückt halten.
Resetknopf drücken und loslassen, die beiden anderen aber noch festhalten
bis der Bootscreen kommt. Tasten loslassen. Warten bis die Aufforderung den
Powerknopf zu drücken kommt. Diesen dann drücken (Ein-Aus Schalter oben auf dem Gerät)
und schon flasht es das ROM in ca. 2 Minuten.Wenn der flash fertig ist (successfull)
muss ein Softrest gemacht werden. Eine enorme Zeitersparnis für Vielflasher ;-)
Vielleicht hilft das ja schon.

Wie oben geschrieben hängt der Bootloader in diesem Fall bei "Loading..." - flashen vom Internen ROM ist also nicht drin... er soll das jetzt mal mit vorherigem hard-reset testen...

I've done the hardreset and also formatted the NAND but no success after connecting the diamond via usb.
Now I'm downloading the AZTOR-ROM but it will take a few hours .... no 3G, only GPRS available here...

Now, i tried to flash the AZTOR from the internal Storage, but the same issue again -> "Loading..." on the bootscreen and nothing happens!

Hast du vorher mal den NAND flash gelöscht ??

beim Hardreset hab ich den Reset incl. Löschung des NAND ausgewählt. Anschließend war der Speicher auch leer. Hab das AZTOR-Image herruntergeladen (nur DIAMIMG.NBH war im Internen Speicher) und versucht zu flashen. Meldung "Entering moviNAND" und im nächsten Screen "Loading..." und dabei bleibt es leider wieder...

I've done the hardreset including NAND-Format, afterward the internal storage was empty. I renamed the AZTOR-Image to DIAMIMG.NBH and saved it to the NAND (it was the only file in the internal storage). But while trying to flash the image, the screen says "Loading..." and nothing happens.

Also versuch mal folgendes ... klemm dein diamanten an USB dann Bootloader starten (alles abschreiben und hier posten) (Bootloader erreichste mit Softreset und dann vol up + power knopf gedrückt halten)
Welches os verwendest du (deine PC)? Welche SPL hast du ? hab dir ne PM geschickt ! schreib mir mal da ... dann stört niemanden unser deutsch

Try the following, connect your diamond to USB then enter bootloader (write everything down) (Bootloader is reached via Vol up + power button, after softreseting)
Wich OS do you use ?(PC side) Wich SPL you use ? I Wrote u a PM ! there we can write so nobody can be angry about our german

After entering the bootloader, the screen shows this:
DIAM300 MFG 64M

Okay i would recommend upgrading the SPL / reflash the SPL to the device !
For that put your device into bootloader mode (what OS u use on your pc when u flash?) then get 1.40OliNex and run RUU !
possibly it can flash if you're already in bootloader mode,
Enter bootloader
Connect USB
Run RUU from Unsigned-Hard-SPL-Diamond-OliNex.zip
... for that i also would try use MTTY to connect to your device if its "talkable in any way"
Please add me in ICQ so we can do in german AND its faster than board stuff !

sounds a little bit daft but do you have active sync installed on your pc and have you tried it on a different computer. also if all else fails run the phone completely dead and leave the battery out for 24hrs (back it up first)

I'm using Windows XP Pro SP3 with Active Sync 4.5
Of course, I've also tried to connect on several other hardware with XP SP2 and Vista Ultimate.

HELLO, you have to have a SIGNED ROM. Because you have the Protected version of HARD SPL that will NOT allow you to flash any rom.
Change it to other SPL or try a signed rom first.

USB is a problem of Hardware!
We fixed the HardSPL with 1.40 version,
internal storage flash with the nbh of the hardspl package, now he was able to flash another rom, so he flashed aztor ich didnt solve the problem so radio wasnt the problem. now hes going to reflash stock rom and then flash stock spl and get it back to warrenty !!

i'm facing the same problem, obviously the car charger must have killed my USB, went through the same procedures like you did, all in vain. Just one Question: Has internal flashing of Stock-SPL been possible for you? cause i think the Olinex HardSPL 1.4 is write protected somehow and was still there after I tried to reflash stock SPL from internal memory...
A short information would be great, thx in advance

What do you mean? Second Today? It doesn't really tell us much...

i use secondtoday in conjuction with homescreen++ - to give me the following result

i run second today on my HD, I use it for my dual sim app so i can use tf3d but check the second today screen for sim info & swopping

I use it on my HD as well (keeping TF3D on the "real" today screen) and it works fine!

Sure thing! (English version below)
Du musst Dir SecondToday herunterladen und installieren. Dann kannst Du diesen "virtuellen" zweiten Today-Screen öffnen, in dem Du die entsprechende Verknüpfung im Start Menü wählst. Wenn ich mich recht erinnere, fragt Dich SecondToday beim ersten Öffnen automatisch, welche Today-Plugins Du benutzen willst: Also hier einfach diejenigen auswählen, die Du auf dem "virtuellen" Today-Screen haben willst. Ich weiß nicht, ob es möglich ist, TF3D auf SecondToday laufen zu lassen - aber ich glaube eher nicht.
Dann zum Tab "Soft Keys" wechseln um die entsprechenden Soft Keys zu verändern. Leider ist dieses Menü etwas verwirrend gemacht: Oben rechts wählst Du aus, welchen Soft Key Du ändern möchtest (den in SecondToday oder den in Manila?) oben links ob es der linke oder rechte sein soll. Unter "Title" kannst Du angeben, was auf dem Soft Key stehen soll. "Path to Program" einfach so lassen, wie's ist. Dann einfach "Apply to Registry" clicken.
Beispiel:
Du willst mit dem linken Soft Key in TF3D (auf dem echten TodayScreen) zu SecondToday wechseln und in SecondToday ebenfalls den linken Soft Key benutzen, um SecondToday wieder verschwinden und TF3D auftauchen zu lassen. Einfach einmal den Haken bei Second Today lassen und apply clicken, einmal den Haken bei Manila 3D oder 2D setzen und apply clicken. Fertig!
Wenn Du noch fragen hast - immer her damit!
ENGLISH VERSION:
Download and install SecondToday. You can now launch and switch to this "virtual" today screen by openening the corresponding link in the start menu. As far as I remember, SecondToday will automatically ask you for the today plugins you want to have running on it upon first running the app. Just select the plugins you want. I'm not sure if it is possible to run TF3D on the "virtual" today screen - but probably not.
Now switch to the "Soft Keys" menu to set up the soft keys to be able to switch between the real and the virtual today screen. This menu is slightly confusing: Top right you select which soft key you want to change - the one in TF3D or the one on Second Today? "Title" defines the label of the soft key and the entry in "Path to Program" shouldn't be changed. Set everything the way you want it and hit "apply to registry".
An example:
You want to use the left soft-key to switch from TF3D to the virtual screen and also the left soft-key to go back to TF3D: Just tick "Second Today" once and hit apply and hit the corresponding Manila bix once and hit apply. That's it!

[Q] Translation of MIUI XJ from english to danish

I'm in the process of translating MIUI XJ 1.3.5 from english to danish, but could use some help
Pretty easy stuff, but it just takes time, so the more people helping, the faster it goes
I'm already using stuff from the translation project from crowdin.net, but i'm updating the already translated files from there, as they seem to be for earlier versions of MIUI. And not every .xml file is included, so lots of new ones need to be addded..
Så er der nogen danskere imellem, der kunne tænke sig at give en hånd med? Ville være fedt..

Vil lige nævne, for at undgå mere forvirring, at oversættlesen er komplet nu (har været det et godt stykke tid) og jeg opdaterer den løbende. Men tak for jeres tilbud om at hjælpe til Hold øje med MIUI XJ tråden løbende, der er ind imellem nogle oversættelses opgaver jeg gerne vil dele ud af..
I øvrigt, hvis i bruger en miui med dansk, uanset hvorfra og på hvilken som helst telefon, må i MEGET gerne melde tilbage til mig på PM hvis der er noget der skal rettes/kan forbedres/mangler
