delete the pairing of the jabra headset....from the phone...turn of bluetooth...turn the jabra off....now connect the jabra power adapter to the wall....and make sure it's on...attach the jabra to the adapter (the light on the jabra will glow) keep it connected for 3 seconds...disconnect....wait for 3 seconds....connect it again and do the same thing...3 times....now turn on the jabra to pairing mode...and pair it with the phone....the pairing should stay...!!
Worked perfectly!! Thanks for the quick and easy fix.

Hi,
i had a question regarding the connectivity of the bluetooth. I am currently holding hp ipaq 6828 and itech clip radio bluetooth headset. I am able to pair the phone and the bluetooth headset. The probelm i faced is i switched on my bluetooth headset and my pda in discoverable mode. I am unable to auto pair it. Is it that i need to install some third party software in order to let it auto pairing or there is no way it can auto pairing like Sony Ericsson. Please advise.
Thanks
John
no idea what you mean by auto pairing, but the HEADSET needs to be in discoverable mode, not the phone. the phones BT just needs to be on. once the headset is in discoverable, (i.e. the light is steady-not always.. just on the ones ive used), try to pair it from the phone.
Good luck.

Hi,
I have this strange problem. I'm using the Black Majik LE and a i.Tech Arrow X headset.
I'm able to pair both of them successfully - completing with the i.Tech Arrow X added (that's the only bluetooth device i have).
However the headphone icon does not appear on the taskbar and i cannot make/receive calls through my headset, it seems as if its not paired, all the audio/mic goes through my Hermes.
I checked that the bluetooth is on (blinking blue light), resetted my Hermes, delete the pairing and re-paired, resetted my headset, all with no avail.
To confirm that my headset is fine, i paired with another phone (Sony Ericsson) and its working fine, so its definitely a problem on my Hemes.
Has anyone encountered this before or have any suggestions on how to resolve this?
Thanks!
I have the same problem with official WM6....
Suggestions anyone?
I to have this problem, I could connect my bluetooth headset fine before to listen to music but now all music is played out of my dopod 838 pro and doesn't come out of the headset at all its like its not there and i've also done all those steps you mentioned Patrick.
Bluetooth headset works great on my official WM6. I've tested with both Jabra BT 620s and Pulsar 590A. I can receive phone calls in of middle of the music. No problems at all.
Maybe it has something to do with your BT headsets?

I flashed to vp3g's v3.0 and the BT headset works fine.
Flashed back to Black Majik LE and the BT headset works again
Weird.
Thanks for all your help anyway
I've flashed back to WM5 headset works fine but back in WM6 still not workin for stereo only for phone calls.
This may seem like a silly question, but under bluetooth connections, did you try selecting (and holding) the bluetooth device and then selecting the option that says "Set as Hands Free" (or wireless stereo if you want to listen to music)? It seems like some older rom I had didn't require this, but now I have to do this each time the device is turned on or off.
I recently upgraded my hermes to use shnapps wm6 rom. When i try to pair my bluetooth headphones with my hermes it won't find the device at all. Can this be due to the wm6 upgrade. Are there anyways to fix it? Thanks for the help!

I use two different BT headsets - both stereo A2DP - and they work fine. Do you have another device to verify you've put the headset into discoverable mode?
I'm using the i.Tech Clip R35 and it pairs fine with my upgraded winmo6 8525. The thing I can't figure out is how to 're-connect' the headphones. I turn on the headphones and power on bluetooth on the 8525, but nothing happens. The old widcomm BT stack used to allow you to double-click on the paired device and that would initiate a connection, but I can't find anything like that in the winmo6 BT manager.

I have the same Itech Clip 35, i found that I can (with the stylus) click and hold on the itech clip paired device, it brings up a dialog box that says Set as Wireless stereo. Or even easier yet, after you turn on the Clip, press the MFB once to connect to your device...you'll see the A2DP icon show up and you're ready to rock.
Here is the Manual

Hello,
Can someone tell me if I can connect this headphones to my HTC P3300:

thank you.
I finally found!!!
Hey! I finally found how to connect it.
You have to press the power button until the light blinks blue and red (about 10 seconds), then do a search in bluetooth configuration. the access code is 0000.
next times you just have to turn it on normally and it will be connected to the phone. you have to do the same thing to reconnect it to the transmitter.
maybe this operation works with other headphones.
Most if not all bluetooth devices require some form of 'pairing' to your device. Most headsets use the 0000 code for connection. And all of them need to be in some form of pairing mode in order for the host device(in this case, your phone) to be able to detect it.
Logitech Bluetooth.

sounds like you've got bluetooth headset profile working, but not bluetooth stereo audio profile (A2DP). what handset are you using it with, and what ROM? not all support it...

I am using it with HTC P3300 and the ROM is 3.13.405.1.WWE. I used the same bluetooth headset with my WM6 and it worked fine but after upgrading to WM6 its messed up.

I have a Jabra BT620s bluetooth wireless stereo headset which I use as an headset and my music headset on the touch hd. I paired them succesfully and playing music with mediaplayer works perfectly.
The problem is when I turn on my Jabra headset. It pairs with my phone fine, but it isnt set as wireless stereo on start. So I have to set it in the bluetooth configuration screen everytime I turn the headset on, cause else the music plays over the speaker of the phone.
Is there anyway to let windows mobile always be forced to set the headset as wireless stereo?
Same problem with Funkwerk EGO Talk
I've have got the same problem with Funkwerk EGO Talk Bluetooth carkit with A2DP. Pairs at the start with Headset Profile, so calling works(except the hangup button btw, ?which redails?? most of the time). But it doesn't start the wireless stereo profile.
I have to "Set as wireless Stereo" everytime i reconnect with the carkit
Anyone has a solution or workaround to start "Set as Wireless Stereo" automaticly or at least in 1 button?
Guys, using the search function would have turned up the following solutions found previously on these forums:
a) use Mortscript to macro the key presses
b) firmware update the headset (i.e. Jabra)
c) try turning on music and bluetooth before the headset - worked for some people
I have the same problem as you, any other suggestions?
I've the same problem with Moto music/blutooth headset
Hmmm
I don't have this problem with my Sony-E HBH BT set. Each time I turn it on the pairing is automatic and get stereo immediately.
I also can have the pocket player or TF3D media player running or not and it will change "on the fly" to BT when I turn on the headset.
No problem here with Motorola S805's.
I turn the phone BT on, turn the headphones on, press play on the headphones and get music.
I have the same problem with my motorola S705
Auto pairing with calls is ok but not with stereo A2DP. I must turn headset on manually in the bluetooth otpions which is quite long and annoying.
Pairing was working good with my TyTN. So there might be a problem somewhere
I've had some problems with my Samsung SBH170 not connecting at all.
I removed them from the BT settings and repaired, now they are found with out problems, allthough not very quickly.
In 'Advanced Configuration Tool 3.3' I came across 'Bluetooth Audio Gateway Service' which was disabeled, I enabled it and rebooted, but it doesn't seem to make any difference on my machine. According to this thread it may be required to enable audio over bluetooth: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=424424
