I recently installed the 0.19 version of the Sorg VGA ROM and I must say, my P750 is working much more stable. I didn't notice any problem with the memory.
The main problem I now have is the following: I tried to disable xt9 functionality that was really annoying me. I found a site on this forum telling about a registry tweak. I tried it, but unfortunately the xt9 is still present. So I tried until I was able to disable xt9 and word suggestion feature. Now my problem is, that I only can type numbers!! With the virtual keyboard it works, with the physical one, it doesn't. I'm really desperate, I tried to revert my changes but nothing seems to happen. Even when I reset the device (after appyling registry changes) nothing but numbers!
So my question/request to you:
could somone out there make a screenshot of his registry (ASUS P750), of course not of the whole one but only of the following path, since this is the one I messed up:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Tegic\eT9
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Tegic\eT9\IME
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Tegic\eT9\Sip (if present on your device)

Yes im having the same issue.. people say there are fixes via registry... but i dont know how to access them.. if someone can either tell me how to get it done via regedit or setup a cab file for me.. it would be much appreciated..

I am now using bepe's wonderful rom version 0.77. This rom includes the "Touch Keypad" and "Touch Keyboard" input methods, which i like a lot, but these two input methods have different appearance depending on whether the cursor focus: (please refer to the images attached) When the cursor is on a input text box, it shows the keypad, with xt9 support, but when it is not, it just shows a qwerty keyboard. I'd like to ask whether it is possible to be customized so that it would show the keypad with xt9 support regardless on the cursor focus.
do we have a seperate CAB for this?
I also like the input method very much. but it's not working well with PocketCM.

Does it need some special skins or is it just the wrong keyboard ?

Why don't install bepe's ROM????
I think there is no cab so far... I don't know how bepe do the things, but he is always the first to implement new stuff. Great COOKER.

This is just the normal T9 phonepad, not the XT9.
I tried to port =) but it is giving me troubles... and I don't have the solution yet

i definetely did the same thing as you did, it takes me 5 hours to dump all the reg and hundreds of files from bepe's rom, follow the original xT9 requied file format and the list in the reg, rebuild them and cook into another rom. but i get the same result as you!!
there must be some peticular thing we didnot discover about the xT9 in bepe's Rom!!

Hello gurus.
PCM Keyboard I consider as great tool the same as PocketCM. But now I discovered strange behaviour - when I'm trying to use it somewhere outside the PocketCm, I can't see text. I'm typing blanks only.
Inside PocketCM PCMK works properly. (no matter which version)
Would you suggest me how can I repair it ? (resets, reinstals, deinstals and instals again don't help)
A cople days ago I flash my Trinity with last WWE/Light bepe ROM. Before that I used the aplication with easy (on many ROMs) . I do not claim that it's because of bepe ROM, but who knows... Would someone with bepe ROM check this up?

Try deactivating xT9. It works on my device (with Bepes Rom) when xT9 is deactivated in the rom settings tool.
Its also happening IN contact manager while typing an sms I am using the 0.15 verison

Could anyone tell me how could I uninstall Keytouch, so that I can switch to other IMEs, such as et9 and MSPY?
I've searched the forum and some other places too, but information on removing keytouch is found.

Ya no kidding it was kinda cool at first but now its just annoying and it's laggy. if i knew Chinese it would be great but for English you don't need anything fancy like that.

Kinda it's in one of Kavanas new roms it's for chinese and english but frankly i don't need it. I did find something out though.
To make it so it's English only goto and change registry to whats bellow
HKEY_Current_User\Software\HTC\KeyTouch
SupportedLang EN
SupportedLangCount 1
That will remove the Chinese functionality. Which helps alot but doesn't make it perfect.
To remove it all together You'd have to change the registry to the following
HKEY_Local_Machine\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Layouts\e0010409
Ime File compime.dll
Layout Text COMP IME
BUT THERE IS A PROBLEM
there is no compime.dll in the rom which means we would have to find the english one from another rom and install it to our windows directory. I am not quite sure it that is right so please con someone help out with this file XD

dude no it wont. this is Keytouch it hijacks that menu it isn't your original rom setup.
lmao i dont know why it took so long for me to think of this.
Go to this forum download and install Tegic T9 then you can do the Fn + Space thing. It makes key touch go poof.

Alex2003 has turned the Italian original keyboard to Hebrew for the Diamond.
I tried it on the HD and it works great. Link below:

However, the Hebrew works only in portrait mode. It goes back to Italian in Landscape..

i tried to copy the TXT file that should fix the landscape KB,
but i cant...
i get an error message:
"cant copy LQwerty0c10: Access is denied.
make sure your mobile device ha sufficient memory, that the file is not read only, and the you have permission to copy this file type"

you have to use total commander or resco explorer or such to overwrite rom files...
anyway i'll add these text files to the current cab and post a modified version later tonight.
question: does it still say "Italian" after installing this cab or does it change to "Hebrew"?

Ok guys (& gals), as promised, I modified the Alex cab to include the HD-specific files (arrow-keys and landscape mode).
Unfortunately I can't test it because I already installed the keyboard with the manual-copy approach and don't feel like hard-resetting right now.
I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work because I only replaced one file and added another. But still, I shall repeat the usual mantra:
Use at your own risk! I am not to be held responsible in case it doesn't work, bricks your device, or brings the end of the world as we know it (in a negative way)
That said, I'd be happy if you test it and post your results.
Oh, and if anyone could help out in making the menu say "Hebrew" instead of "Italian" I'd be most grateful as I do appreciate aesthetics (yeke ma la'asot )

I know that I am supposed to search, but for the life of me, I cannot find what I am looking for.
I have a Tmobile Dash. When I install some of the newer roms, they change the layout to be the Excalibur layout. Like on the dash the Q is with a % instead of the ! that is with the excalibur.
I am looking for a cab or something to change the layout so I can txt properly. Thank you in advance

Well i have no info on your location? So with guestermation download TegiceT9 install soft-reset phone.
Just edit your eT9.Excalibur.0409.kmap.txt. How you can make it plz read here.
