Hi there, I tried searching everywhere but with no luck. Is there a tool I can use to backup my original ROM. I dumb that way and I was so excited when I saw Sorgs VGA ROM I forgot to backup my original one. However, my brother has the same device but still with the original ROM. I was hoping to make a backup and install it to my device. I have a problem with my joystick and I want to return it under warranty.

Sprite Backup is what you are looking for.

You can try it out for free. Use Device Upgrade option to restore to a WM6 rom.
As far as i know spritebackup does not do a ROM backup.
We have it and i did not see such possibility.
I was thinking more to dump ROM and modify nb files to create my own ROM after....
to customize it for our company and to flash it on every hermes laters on.

So, use Sprite Backup and Mr. Vanx's tutorial and you can go back to your current state.
Aye, you could either 'dump' the current ROM using some of the many tools available here or just do as Larsuck suggests and just go ahead with your ROM change but download a copy of your original ROM before you start, just so you know you've got it safe.
As far as I know, most or all legit ROMs are freely downloadable.

i want to dump the complet rom (inclusiv Apps, Settings, Storage Card etc).
I need a Full Backup of the Phone.
How can i made this? Or is a Backup Software better (like Sprite Backup)?

I think there are dumped o2 roms for the diamond on this forum just search it. If the apps came installed on the phone then the dumped roms have this too. So just search before you dump.

I have the original Rom on my device. I want a full backup of my phone, so when i flash other roms i can easly change back to my old rom without reinstall my tools and my settings.

I've recently found this forum and I've found lots of nice info and stuff about my Prophet and I recently registered too.
Yesterday I bought a new Asus P750, since my Prophet has seen its best days.
Some time after I decided for the P750 I discovered that it had a VGA-screen, and I looked for VGA ROMs, but I didn't find any for my native language, Swedish.
So, my question is: Can I make my own ROM for the P750? I've got a Swedish upgrade to WM6.1 from the ASUS website and I thought if maybe it's possible to modify it so that it uses the full VGA.
Or maybe modify one of the existing VGA ROMs.
The things I want are:
VGA
WM6.1
some of the things Asus puts in the original ROM
and preferably Swedish
If it's not possible/very hard I've got some other questions:
1. I heard of memory leaks in some of the VGA ROMs, is that fixed yet?
2. If I upgrade my ROM I lose my warranty, but can I use the warranty if I change back to the original? Can they detect that I've used an unofficial?
3. Is it or will it ever be possible to not have to change ROM to use VGA? (only install a program or something)

First I want to give felicitations for the best forum ever to help everyone.
Now i have a unbranded lg ks20, and i want to try the rom with windows 6.5. But the rom that i have is in Portuguese and i want to have it in backup (if i don't like wM 6.5 i want to change it).
But i cannot find nothing that shows the way to backup my entire ROM.
Then i will use this guide. I think is very complete.

You can't find because it's not possible to make a full backup of the rom.
Since I haven't seen a portuguese stock rom to flash back to, if you flash, you won't be able to get back to your native's language rom.

It's a one shot dump, but with no possibility to reflash with the dump.
Moreover, you won't have any advantage to get back to you stock rom apart native language (if you are able to undertand everything on XDA, I guess WWE is not a real problem for you) as good keyboards with Pourtuguese T9 exist for FB or Spocky's roms, and in any case, you will have to backup and restore your datas (the dump won't backup your datas and apps).
