From my new but bricked dash:
Battery new condition ($25)
Plastic battery cover ($20)
2 chargers ($15/each)
Also if anyones interested for a backup phone I have a new Motorola F3 for $40.
PM if interested, paypal only.
Do you charge delivery?
Delivery is about $1.50 for regular USPS postage so its very minimal.
How much for the whole thing? Do you ship intnl?
With both chargers? I can ship international, but price should stay the same. I'll drop it $15 total if you buy it all so $60 I think plus shipping which would be a bit more.
First come first serve I've had a few people interested but no one buying yet.
Bump, a few people interested, first come first serve though so nothing sold yet.

Check out LCD4PDA who is one of the best sellers on e bay. He's helped me a few times in a crunch with some screens I've replaced.
Because of me sharing my gratitude in this thread here,
he's decided to lookout for all of us and provide us a discount on these LCD screen replacement units he sells on Ebay. He usually has them in large quantities so getting the one you want should not be a problem. He sells screens for other models as well so if you're looking for a different phone's LCD, check his other auctions or email him directly for that. The discount also applies to other model screens as well.
Feel free to enter this code after you purchase your screen unit:
Promo code: Promo_tiguy99
Discount: $4 shipping fee refund
Valid through 01/01/2008
Email him after the auction is over and let him know you want the shipping discount.
T mobile Dash screens usually sell about 40, shipping is around 10-12 dollars so with the discount you should be getting the lowest price on Ebay since the average LCD price is about 5-10 more than his plus you get it in 2-3 days vs ordering them from Hong Kong which can take a week or longer to arrive.
I don't any get credit or anything like that for this. I put in the effort to promote this so people here looking to replace their LCD screens can benefit!
Hopefully you should never have to replace your LCD screen but if you do at least you now have a connection and one of the best customer service experiences you can have as well.
Enjoy!

I just bought one from them. It was shipped very quickly with tools and color instructions. Dash is as good as new.

Sweet! I'm glad everyone's having a good experience with them. Their customer service is superb. I had a technical issue that other sellers/companies would shy away from but LCD4PDA walked me through it and even went as far as helping me with a replacement which I got very fast.
They took a bad situation (cracked LCD) and made it very pleasant which is why I'm going to the extent to vouch on their behalf!
I bought a car cahrger that said it worked for HTC evo on Amazon.com and it worked fine. But I bought a wall charger, said it worked for evo but it didn't charge it, it had an led light said it was on but didn't work. Then I decided to buy a difernt one that didn't work either. So I had to come up with some more cash and drive to bestbuy and told them I will buy it if it charges my phone right so they took it out of the box and worked fine. So if you buy online do your research first.

cool story bro
Never buy anything more expensive than 20 bucks at Besy buy... Worst customer service/return policy/warranty service EVER. i wont buy there again even with deceptively low prices... spent too much in gas going back and forth , time in argueing with them, and not having my laptop, and didnt get anything out of it except a wiped hard drive, lost charger, accessories, restore CD's etc... AND IT WAS A MOTHERBOARD PROBLEM!!! the idiots wiped the OS because it was blue-screening -.-... so ya... avoid bestbuy if you can.
As for chargers, i did basically the same thing... I can charge it with the wall charger IF I turn off wifi and everything else, and make sure that nothing is running but it is really slow.. the car charger will fully charge it in <30 minutes.
when I buy a brand new product WITH WARRANTY I expect to get a free repair/replacement if the product is faulty. thats kinda how a warranty works. I am slightly put off that you chose to take my criticism of Best Buy personally. Maybe you are one of the best workers that Best Buy employs; That still doesn't change the fact that in this area at least (and I've heard similar stories from many MANY people, not just in this area) at this store that I went to, the employees, managers, Geek Squad staff, etc. were all either disrespectful, aloof, or incompetent. Its my choice to deal with my experience with BB and even to share it with others. Go flame war somewhere else. its really immature.

Do they sell anything for less than $20?
Well, besides the candy bars at the front.
A $30.00 charger at Best Buy costs $5.00 on Amazon and $10.00 in Walmart. There is no best buy at Best Buy. Everything is jacked up enormously. nd the best buy employee on this form thats mother ****ing their customers, probably not going to help.
I did not by any stretch plan on turning this thread into a "LETS FLAME BEST BUY" thread... If we want that, then have a Mod rename it and throw it into an off-topic thread. I did notice however that the rude BB employee only has one post and found that amusing...
which is worse? best buy or radioshack?
The title should be changed to "be careful which thread you open up." Garbage.
Just make sure you look at the amperage rating. If it's low (less than 750ma) you will probably not get a decent charge out of it, regardless of the light coming on. I always try to get 2 amp chargers.
BTW not all Best Buy employees are tools, but the bad ones sometimes make me feel ashamed for working here.
Everyone needs to stop hating on Best Buy.
I worked at Radioshack for like..3 months, and it was the worst experience for me. Customers *****ing because i told them not to buy something, and it doesn't work how they want it to. They make their money off of accessories to phones, you can think of it like the movies. Theaters don't make any money off of the tickets, they make money off concessions..which is why they're jacked up. This is why i do all my shopping online. I just bought a ipod shuffle cord off ebay for 3$ shipped, or i can go to walmart and pay 20$ for the same exact thing. You have more mouths to feed when running a store in real life than you do online.

Exactly why I posted here giving my two cents on Best Buy and his rude attitude, but it got deleted by the mods because you can't be an asshole to an asshole.
i have used blackberry chargers since day 1. always worked well for me,
Most Best Buy employees I have worked with have been wonderful. It is not the employees fault or any customer service issue that has driven me away. It is the shear markups and unreasonable costs that has put me off.
Simple example $24.95 for a simple audio cable to hook my wifes iPod up to the AuxIN in the car.
Same brand cable at Walmart was $14, was $9 at TjMax and $5 online.
I prefer any of the 3 options above to Best Buy.

Haha Best buy is ridiculous and they think god made there stuff so we should pay that price.
Example: Laptop power cord Best buy = $79.99 - 89.99
Laptop power cord online (ebay, newegg, amazon) = $25.00 (shipping included)
Also, I fully understand that retail will always cost more than buying online. You have the overhead costs of a physical store, employees, advertising, etc so the product has to cost more in order actually make a profit and cover the costs of operation.
However, clearly if a product costs $5 online and $55 in Best Buy, there is some serious gouging going on. It will never change though because people continue to shop there and pay that price.
Sounds odd, but you can also try an AT&T store. While the chargers are generally $30 you have a one year warranty in store. Even if you're not their customer if you have the receipt you have the warranty.
For those who are on a budget I'd recommend Amazon, but some of those are iffy on the quality side.
Hi, I bought a couple of batteries through ebay that were advertised as being samsung originals. The seller is from Hong Kong and has very good feedback rating.
Interestingly, inside the package came the two batteries I ordered wrapped together in a small bag marked as 'original'. Along, inside the same package came another battery in its own small bag that was marked as 'copy'.
Upon closer inspection of the three received batteries I can say that the third one, the one marked as 'copy' looks as if produced on the same batch as the other two, the only difference being that its label wasn't applied properly as it has a bit of slack.
Now, comparing the three received batteries against the original that came with my phone I found some clear differences. See the picture below.
The first of the received ones is still charging in the phone. I haven't noticed any overheating or anything unusual. I think it will take some time to notice any performance differences though, I'll try to remember and report them here.
Am I right in thinking these are fakes? What do you think?
How much did you pay for these batteries? Real OEM replacement battery should look like this,
I would only trust the sellers on eBay that is from Korea.

Are you able to check the weight difference compare to your OEM battery? I have read that China fakes have a smaller battery packed inside and will weight a few grams lighter.

This is actually a brilliant idea. Haven't thought of it before but it makes complete sense. Original batteries should weight exactly the same and different than fake ones.

I don't have a scale but I feel they weight about the same. I just spent a few hours testing one of the fakes and they do have decent performance, I'd say about 10% less than the original.
Still waiting for the seller's reply... funny thing: he does have another listing for the same battery and he includes pictures on how to tell between fakes and good ones so that means he is aware now. I'm still giving the benefit of the doubt here.

You have 40 posts and I'm 99.9% positive that you work for one of the your country's sellers like SGP.....
I would generally disregard sellers that promote their own products.
Anyways, that South Korean Seller has 99.2% feedback and 215 sales, which is crap.
I found a nice OEM battery from a USA SELLER for $30 free shipping and he has
99.5% feedback and 8300+ sales.
You do the math. Instead of taking the word of a South Korean Sales Rep, look at the stats

I just ordered the battery & charger pack from se*stage, Korean seller on ebay. It is listed as GENUINE. $62.99 US. Hope they are not fake ones. It's a little bit risky, there are not many feed backs for this seller yet. I'll report back how they are when I receive them. One of the reasons I ordered from se*stage is I need charger too.

I knew the US seller has much much better feedback. Just can't wait that long to get it. The US seller uses "USPS First Class Mail International", and the Korean ships with Fedex. I'm in Canada. It takes about one week with Fedex and at least two weeks by USPS. Plus, I need charger too. Anyway, I will warn everyone in XDA if the Korean ships me counterfeits and report to eBay.

so is the item you're talking about sold by trendzzz?
the print quality of the word 'samsung' looks just like the knock off from gnz's very first post in this thread.
and it looks like it doesn't have the same polarity etching as gnz's original battery
This is all i have to go off right now as my phone hasn't arrived yet (praying it comes today lol) Will check my own original battery and compare when I get it.
just posting this in case someone jumps at buying the Texas battery without looking carefully.
I'm thinking the QR code on the battery could somehow be used to verify its authenticity? Dunno if a consumer can take advantage of this or its just something samsung can do to verify their batteries.
Another Korean eBay seller just posted the OEM battery for $31.99 which is what is supposed to sell for! I'm sure this is OEM since he sells all Samsung OEM accessories. shimshop.
I'm ordering the charger stand and battery!
found this on Amazon last night. Picked it up for 18 bucks. Ive really wanted one but never found them any cheaper than 60. for anyone that doesnt have one or didnt get one because they were too expensive this is great.

Probably not, as they'll be different sizes and the microusb port will be in different spots.
Giggity
I figured I have at least another year with this phone as I am a firm believer not to upgrade when under contract due to the exuberant cost. So I figured WTH might as well get it while it's super cheap.
Indeed.
I was explaining it to my wife the other day. In another year my contract is up, and I'll see what's out there in terms of phones. I feel like my days of forking out nearly $300 with contract are over. I'm going to wait until a good phone is nearly free with contract, even if that means spending more time with the bolt.
Duely blundered from my thunderdolt
I never really used a docking station - plug it into my speakers on my PC instead. But it is a nice little thing. I picked this one up just to try it.
I hesitated to pull the trigger, and now it's back up to 45 bucks.
However, on e-bay:
http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/view...cmd=VIDESC&index=3&nav=SEARCH&nid=57516831989
I have never used ebay. It says it has free shipping, but it mentions something about "bulk" packaging and explicitly says it's not "retail." It does, however, claim to be new. I'm also a bit worried that there are no pics of the accompanying cables.
Think it's a safe buy?
Also, has anyone seen that amazon has 10 dollar rezound batteries? They're OEMs, not some aftermarket BS. Unless I'm missing something there too. Did anyone pick one up?
Duely blundered from my thunderdolt
What's up with the price change? Is there anything justifying the 470% price increase?????
Other than greed, I mean...
Anker battery, sold by 'authorized seller' on eBay; not even ten bucks:
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Anker-1900mAh-Battery-Samsung-Galaxy-S2-II-i9100-/220813288199
Same battery sold by same seller, much MUCH more expensive now:
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Anker-1900mAh-Battery-for-Samsung-Galaxy-S2-II-i9100-/330747106855
What's up with that? is it because the I9100 will be "phased out" or something? Isn't there an installed customer base huge enough for these guys to continue selling their batteries at an affordable price? I'm flabbergasted.....
-=-=-=-=-=-= Edit:
After having looked around a bit, to my great surprise, I was able to find this at $9 on Amazon.ca. I was VERY surprised since we, in Canada, rarely get the same deals as in the US... we always get milked with more expensive products, even of our dollar is at par with the US dollar. But this time, the price was the same.
Now the funny thing is, the Amazon.com and .ca seller is the SAME as on eBay; so he sells these babies $47 on eBay and less than ten bucks on Amazon. I do not understand it one bit....
wanted to buy this battery about a week or 2 ago and saw those prices on ebay, no idea why it increased that much so would like to hear if someone know

Your best bet is now Amazon.com or Amazon.ca... If you are luckily to be in the USA or Canada.
Other than that, the eBay prices are absolutely grotesque... :-\
NEW ROM will arrive people will buy NEW BATTERY instead of changing phone ! (It`s a 2 year old phone so battery will not last as new)
It's back down to $12 now, but I'd say they were low on stock so they jacked up the price for the last one or two units to avoid running out. Many online sellers do this for some reason, I guess selling out looks bad.
