1. how to adjust ring volume ?
2. how to adjust speaker volume to 100% while talking ?

The Up/Down Button on the Side of the Phone adjust Speaker Volume while talking. I don't think that you can adjust the ringtone volume with a button or other then having to go to the settings menu, but why would you want to change the ringer volume during a call?
When you receive a call and you use the up/down button at the side BEFORE picking the call up, the ringer goes silent and you can ignore the call without ignoring it
Once you pick up the call, the up/down button controls the speaker volume.
Hope that helps

Oh thank you... It can't setting elsewhere in OS ?
(OK, the right one is ringer, not speaker)

Turning on speaker during a call may hinder your conversation and this can be fixed by improving mic sensitivity with this tweak :-
HKLM\Software\HTC\AUDIOGAIN(x)\RECEIVE_UPLINK_VOLUME = CC (DWORD hexadecimal)
HKLM\Software\HTC\AUDIOGAIN(x)\EARPHONE_UPLINK_VOLUME = CC (DWORD hexadecimal)
where (x) = none, 0, 1, 2
Good luck

[Q] No audible alarm in do not Disturb mode? [SOLVED]

Why is there no way to enter silent mode on 5.0?
Do not Disturb mode means my set alarms are not audibly notifying me.
To ensure my alarms is set I have to:
Pull down notification bar
Tap the volume icon twice.
Press and hold the DND quick settings icon to go to the sound menu.
Scroll to Do not Disturb.
Tap on Calls and Notifications.
Tap Priority.
Prior to Lollipop I had to:
Pull down notification bar.
Tap the volume icon twice.
This seems like a step backward. Is there any better way to ensure my alarms go off? I was almost late for work this morning due to this stupid feature/bug.
ok, it is simply a case of pressing volume key then pressing priority.

Thanks for the solution. That's a terrible design decision on the part of LG.

In Call Volume Issue

I posted this in the Pixel forum as well.
So I just recently noticed that I cannot adjust the volume while on a phone call. The volume buttons trigger the slider, and the slider moves, but the volume does not change. Also, the volume slider doesn't go all the way down. It stops at about the 15-20% mark. Here's a screenshot of the volume slider as low as it will go:

After some searching, I found a PIxel User Community post on the same topic, and posted there as well: https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/phone-by-google/P0Lc5nX-Huk
I also found a news item from last summer, describing a similar problem with the Nexus 5: http://www.phonearena.com/news/Goog...l-bug-brought-on-by-the-latest-update_id83468
The following description from back then is far too much like what is going on with my phone to be a coincidence:
"Some of the issues that users are complaining about include the inability to adjust the volume during a call, even though the slider does move. Another complaint found on the AOSP Issue Tracker includes one from a Nexus 5 user who is unable to move the volume slider under the second lowest position."

So, is anyone else here having the same issue? Any ideas on a fix?

Control Music with physical Buttons ( Play/Pause + Next/Previous Track + Volume )

Hi,
on my current smartphone I use the XPosed Module "Physical Button Music Control" to fully control my music player with the physical buttons on the side of my smartphone.
I want to buy a 5t and I am planning to also control Play/Pause + Next/Previous Track + Increase / decrease Volume with the physical keys.

"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
If I look on the side picture of the phone I see on the left side the long key that I would like to use for: increase/decrease Volume with a long press and next / previous track with a short press.
My Questions:
1. The second physical button I see on the left side looks like a "On /Off" Silder to me. How does this one work ?
2. The button on the Right side is normally used to turn the display on and off ?
3. Does anyone use the XPosed Module "Physical Button Music Control" on his 5t ?
4. Does anyone control Play/Pause + Next/Previous Track + Increase / decrease Volume completely with the physical keys.

Bluetooth sound problems and ringer volume - alternative dialer app? (PX5 Android 8)

Hi, I need advice on two very bad bluetooth sound issues with stock dialer phone app on my Kanor PX5 Android 8 4Gb/32Gb head unit:
1. No sound when people call me. When I call, everything works fine, but when I receive a call - no sound. I can pick up, then tap on double-arrow (switch audio to phone), then tap again to switch audio back, and then it sometimes works! But never by default. When I call out using the same stock dialer - usually it works OK.
2. Ringer volume is crazy high, I want to catapult from my car when it rings. No ringer settings anywhere, no separate volume controls, nothing... Is there any way to disable ringer or change the sound?
Is there alternative phone dialer app that can replace the stock one? Any other ideas how to solve that?
