I recently found your excellent forums - wow!
I have a Sony Ericsson K810i which is 3G and I use to check mail etc and sometimes access the internet. It's nice and fast etc (depending on the 3G coverage)
My Oragne SPV M2000 (Blue Angel of course) is not 3G and I was wondering if I could somehow connect it to the Sony phone to use the internet connection.
I don't want to put my sim card in my SPV!
I rang Orange who (no surprise) said it couldn't be done.
Any ideas would be very much appreciated!
Many thanks
Best wishes

Hi there,
I have an O2 XDAiis. I would like to put the sim card from this into my Nokia 6230i and use my XDAiis as a PDA connected to my mobile through bluetooth. I have a IPAQ and am able to connect it to to my Nokia 6230i through bluetooth dialup networking but I cannot seen to be able to do this on my XDA. The connectivity I would like is a dialup modem and GPRS… please help
Thanks
Fiona
PS I am using the latest rom and bluetooth drivers from O2
Hi,
Yeah, the bluetooth seems to be cripled to stop you connecting via another mobile phone and make you use the operator it's got a SIM card for.
I would love to do this to - my blue angel is now my 2nd phone/pda/satnav and GPRS is expensive - if I want to use cheaper GPRS in it i've got to swap the SIM card with my main phone
I've looked about quite a bit but can't find any kind of info or workaround.

i have a qtek 9090 and bought a sony ericsson HBH-610a. Unfortunately, i cant use it, as the services are not recognized. I would much appreciate your help.
thanks in advance
giro
PDA2K with HBH-610a
I've got the same problem trying to connect the Sony Ericsson HBH-610a with my PDA2K.
I can detect the headset without problems, and pair them (the light on the headset switches to green), however when trying to add it in the BT Manager the PDA says it cannot detect any services from the headset . I get the same message when using the option to detect services on generic BT devices (bottom of BT manager).
I can detect services on Nokia phones with the PDA2K, and use the HBH-610a with Nokia phones, so I guess it must either be a setting in the PDA2K or problems with the BT connection itself.
Anyone can help? I managed to get a good price on the headset and wouldn't want ot have to change it. It's listed as compatible on the internet vendor's site (and several others) but not by i-Mate, nor by Sony Ericsson.
Hi! Everyone.
I've a GRUNDIG GR980 (or QTEK 9000, UNIVERSAL HTC,...) that operated with MOVISTAR. Now I've unlocked it with HTC UNIVERSAL SIM UNLOCK, and now it's free. I've tried to put in a VODAFONE'S SIM and ppc detects the new net, but ppc doesn't permit me to do or recieve a call. Although, ppc can recieve SMS. Besides, I can't connect to INTERNET by GPRS.
Could you help me, please???
Thanks everyone...
