Hi folks,
i tried to run xanadux on my XDAIII. As the installation is not difficult I was
wondering why nothing happend after inserting my SD card. Even a reset
couldn't help.
After some googling I discovered that the autorun-facility could be broken.
My XDAIII has a persistent storage, can this be the problem? Or has O2 Germany
disabled the autorun-facility? Has anybody else the problem?
Please help me getting tux on my XDAIII
regards
Goran
I had the same problem, but I just clicked on Haret and linux booted up.

Hi guys,
I'm trying to find out which would be the easiest way to launch some cabs automatically after a hard reset, and from a sd card ?
I've read several posts, but still wondering which could be the easiest way.
maybe puting an autorun in 2577 folder on card ?
but that would lauch it everytime the card is inserted..
help would be appreciated !!
thanks.
Hi All,
I looked, but did not see the answers for this. I have not used the SD card update procedure before, although it seemed to work fine on my Axim X50v. Can someone tell me:
1. When I do a hard reset in the future, do I follow the SD card procedure or the normal steps?
2. Is it okay for me to erase the ROM files from my SD card or should I leave them alone?
3. My machine is working perfectly, ay least to my needs, on the WM6 A03 ROM. However, it freezes when trying to read the CD card. Is this representative the filesys problem you have been discussing here?
TIA for your help and thanks to those who worked so hard to create/revamp this program.
John

Hi,
I had the same problem. I had installed a cab to enable SDHC-support to my artemis. Unfortunately this cab was not designed for the artemis but for the HTC Universal. After deinstallation of this SDHC-patch the problem vanished.
Hope I could help you with this answer...
Hello guys,
How are we all?
I have a little problem with deleting files from my SD card on my Imac. Every time I delete a file it's like it hasn't actually been removed. It appear's in my Trash can but alas I cannot put any more files on it. It keep's telling me it's full, which is isn't! I've tried emptying my Trash can whilst the card is still plugged in but to no avail.
I'm hooking my Desire up through usb and connecting it to the SD card, I can't understand what's going on. Anyone else have a Mac and have this problem?
Thanks in advance for any help!
Hi all...
I have tried searching and tried all the possible solutions that have come up so wondering if anyone can help..
My DHD is rooted and running Synergy RC2, I've just got it back from repair after having to get a new screen put on. Before having it repaired the SD card was working fine, whilst it was away I was using a Blackberry, I had formatted the SD... I got the phone back on Saturday put the memory card in and it didn't recognise it at all.
At first I thought it was a hardware issue that could have occured whilst it was being repaired, but when the phone is in HBOOT it searches the sd card for PD98IMG... I put PD98IMG onto the sd card and it finds this and parses the file but nothing else happens. Clockwork mod cannot find the SD card nor can the system...
I've tried using fast boot and running 'fastboot oem qxdm 0' but it doesnt help me.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? It's driving me insane!
Thanks in advance!
Have you tried formatting it again? Fat32, and maybe can try checking for bad sectors with scan disk.
Sorry I should have said this in the original post..
I have tried formatting it again and I have tried a number of different cards...
It's just confusing me how it works in the boot loader but no where else.
