Black 3G Dialer & where is the shadow site??

I am getting ready for people to flame me but i am going to ask this anyway, where has the site that hosted the black ROMS? i need the 3G dialer Jasjamming has released. Is it possible someone has it and could post a link up here.

can someone please tell me what the problem is!! when i try to log in i get told i need to download and install a piece of software which i have done but i still cant get into the site, i cant even ask a moderator from that site to help coz i cant see the site!!!

The 3G dialer isnt a mirror of the 2G dialer (its the same as black dymond for now)

thanks for the advice, can you tell me how i can get to the site mentioned on my previous post? i dnt know how im ment to configure that zend software (also i dont think i hav a webserver(?!?) and im guessing you will know what to do!!

dude...dont worry about the zend thing....the forum is down and it is a message for the web administrator...the zend engine is part of php.

Here's the dialer that JJ posted earlier...
"Black Shadow Video Dial CONFIGURATION
For those of you who want Video Dial Capabilities on your Black Shadows you need to install the following:
BACKUP FIRST!!!!!
1. Install Part1.CAB then Soft Reset
2. Install Part2.CAB DONT Soft Reset (press cancel after it is installed --> then go to the next step)
3. Install Part3.CAB then Soft Reset
YOU MUST FOLLOW THE ABOVE EXACTLY TO THE LETTER OTHERWISE IT WONT WORK.

Once the above procedure is completed, it takes around 2mb of storage space.
This video dialer is the one found on Black Dymond 3.5 and the benefit is that I have made it compatable with
zombie skins. You can customize your dialer skins by visiting: http://www.zombienexus.net/portal/GL_Display.asp?SEC=3&EntryID=513
(Note: uninstalling the zombie skins may cause your video button to dissapear therefore to change your zombie skin, just reinstall another)
Once you have successfuly installed the 3g Video DIaler, the "3G Video Dialer" functionality
in Pimp my Black v0.2 works, hence you can enable and disable the 3g Video Dialer (but the non-video dialer
is the basic WM6 one)
Apologies for taking long on this, I was actually trying to port a dialer that matches the current NON-VIDEO one in the Shadow.
This was unsuccessful due to complication with incompatable DLL's for video telephony etc.
NOTE: Once you have completed this procedure you will permanently lose (well until you HR) the DEFAULT SHADOW big-button dialer in your PPC.

thanks guys, i thought there was something wrong with my comp, it did say on the link last night that new software was needed n i jus assumed is was needed by me. anyway it works now.
also to ronfin44 thanks for the links and install instructions, i didnt realize it got rid of the big button dialer, do you think there is any way to just add a another button to the dialer and shrink the font size of the number output?

just realized this is one app i cant use. anybody knows how i would be able to uninstall this? will deleting the .cab files uninstall it?

Seriously guy, you need to start reading more before trying stuff like this.
Why can't you not install the files? What error are you getting?
Secondly, and you may not know this but those *.cabs you are installing do change a number of items in your registry. You could try to just let it be, but you could have some unseen problems.
So, if you ran them and got half-way then you might want to finish the installation properly. However if you do not want to do that and want to go back to the way you were before, then you will have to do a Hard Reset.
ADDED EDIT: So to answer your question, no, deleting the *.cabs will change nothing.

i have successfully installed the 3g dialer. i did say i just realized i have no use for the app thats why i was asking how, if possible would i be able to uninstall it. no problem if i cant coz i know ill be HR anyways when i try out another rom. thanks for the reply.

Need some help please, Okay I just did a rom update on my 8525, let me list what I have done and what I am using.
I fisrt did the CID unlock and the SPL: 2.10.Olipro as instructed by

next I used the HTC wm6 att rom (bloated ,I know) I will be trying Nates V rom but i want to figure this out first, got to learn somehow
Now I installed the HTc home plug in,v.20.814.722 works great as well, now when I try EMU's HTC customizer form the link posted below, all is get a error code of cannot detect plug in version" defaulting to"v1.5 version then I click okay and the customizer will open
The custom os version is 5.2.1622, version 1.0b5
is this the correct version to use with WM6 ?
Everytime I try to change the picure, i get error codes, or any other icon for that matter.
Any ideas guy's ?

This is out of box from HTC . No orange customisation. I believe this will allow Orange customers to upgrade without the HardSPL stuff

I put this version on my phone from htc with hardspl and I have had no problems at all

Do you know if this update will reset the hard spl and radio versions?
Or is it just the rom update. If so, how would I restore my original SPL so that Orange wouldn't know I've tinkered with it?!
My phone has a fault you see and I think I will need to have it replaced.

PS, I've installed the Orange ROM. There are no orange customisations at all.
It's like a very basic version of the unofficial 1.93 roms doing the rounds here.
It's good for those that have an old Oraneg rom and don't wanna risk a cooked rom on here, but if you've already got a new rom such as swiftbl or dutty etc, I wouldn't bother with the orange rom.
In fact I'm gonna install a new rom from here and not bother with the boring Orange one!

However i must say, i have been waiting for this rom from orange for about 2 months now, and all thy can do is supply a rom which has been on this fourm for over a month now. 1.93.405.1. what happend to orange TV and other things...
well all i can say is "shame on you ORANGE UK"

No complants here, this ROM is fast as hell and has no Orange customisation. Just what I wanted.

Tried that on my phone and got an error message "currently unavailable". Do you have to have 3G reception to get into it or is it down at the moment?

Not sure what you mean by animation between tf3D tabs? Can you still slide between tabs and if you do does the one you are now on show up? Also can you still move between tabs by swiping finger across screen please?

Titanium Weather Update v3a (WM6.5 ROM)

New Update for Titanium Weather

Instructions:
1. Uninstall Old Version, Soft Reset.
2. Go to Start>Settings>Today>Items Tab and untick windows default.
3. Install new version to device, Soft reset.
4. Go to File Explorer>My Device>Program Files>Titanium Weather and select the last item in the list (if sorted by name)
5. Enter City Detail which can be found here-

I did hit a little snag while installing, did this happen to anyone?
the tab wouldn't show up at first, but after i installed the opera plugin, thats when the weather tab finally appeared. im using a custom cooked 6.5 from the kitchen

I'm having problems with the ZIP code.
Ive entered: "EUR|UK|UK241|LONDON" but it still says invalid location.
Are those meant to be pipes "|" used in the zip code?

hey... i've got an htc p3700 (touch diamond) and i know this is the x1 forum. i'm running the bsb6.5a rom and got the titanium theme witrh titanium weather. i can't seem to find the location code for my city. East London South Africa. and accuweather doesn't seem to have it eather. any help please.

[Q] some problems with AuraxTSense v8.4 HTC Sense 2.2

Hi, im new at rooting&flasing
i tried to root my desire for the first time. my favorite at the moment is AuraTSense. Thats why i installed this.
Ok, all worked fine i got it. But i got some questions (if all really works fine)
Questions:
1. Its normal that i got two bootscreens? (a white with the green HTC logo and after a white with "HTC quitly brilliant")
2. Its normal that the boot process takes so long? (around 1min - before the installation ~30sec)
3. Got i all apps who are included?
i found(as new): "Automodus", "Clear defaults", "CifsManager", "ES Datei Explorer", "Open VPN", "Spare Parts", "Voice Call", "Superuser", "Switch Pro Widget". Something not here? At one of the screensshots from the main AuraxTSene thread i see: "AuraCPUM..." and "BatteryTime" are they normally included in this rom?
4. and the main "problem" is that the main parts of the rom (upper bar, and telefon bar) are not so transparency like the screenshots at the mainthread.
It's possible to set it somewhere? Did it changed at the rom since the screenshots are made?

but i only get the b/w top bar.
which files i must change to get a transparency look like your screenshots?
edit: possible i could copy the needed files from an old version?
