SMS Backup Jeyo + 3 Settings for black 2.5

Hey,
Ive currently got black 2.0 and want to upgrade by i saw 2.5 doesnt have Jeyo SMS Backup, how or where can i get this from, can i extract it from the 2.0 ROM somehow? and also is there a Black 2.5 with the Three network settings?

Seek and ye shall find.....

As for the network settings for '3', they're in a forum post started by Lordsmiff - try searching for that yourself - it's easy!!! (It's >HERE< in case you have trouble - first item in the post).

Hey, Those are the 3 UK settings, i need the Australian ones, and yes i did try forum searching and the person said they extracted the EXE from the ROM but it doesnt say how...

walshieau has released a new (offline) version of his Settings Config app here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=303046
Download the Config Loader zip (post# 1) and the Australia Config zip (post# 7) which includes 3, Telstra, Vodafone & Optus and follow his instructions in the above link. Its not in the Hermes specific forums so maybe you need to expand your searches.
As for the SMS backup cab, i know my answer to someone else in the Black 2.5 thread was at least the third answer to the same question on where to find the cab file (no extracting from ROM required) and i found all of them easily in my searches.

When playing with my Diamond I have noticed a bug with opera and TF3D disabled in homescreen. Meaby this bug is konown for you, but I have used search button and I can't find anything about it Meaby your ROM's (especially) with uninstallable manila is solved by deleting of file associations, but I want share with you with it:

For developement reasons. Meaby you know everything about Diamond, but fore some people this problem can be new - meaby this helps developer to make some progress. Meaby some of them don't read often Diamond-Diamond board, so I don't want to double post just send the link. If you have nothing to say about this problem just don't answer - you are wasting the space on server by your reply

Hi Guys,
Wish You All a Very Happy, Properous & "Flashing" New year !!
Upon some of your requests to release an update on my previous WM6.5 ROM for Asus P565, I am sharing my latest ROM with you. I am using it on my phone and have not faced any issues so far.
Features :
1. Over 148 MB of free Storage, ~48 MB free RAM.
2. All unnecessary Asus OEM applications removed.
3. Does not need Screen alignment upon flashing.
4. Shell Launcher button mapped to SatGuide GPS Navigation Application. Those who want to map it to any other application may use the registry key :
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Apps\KeyAssignment\Click\251]
5. Modified Start-Up and Shut-down animations.
6. Includes the following in the ROM :
a. Total Commander
b. Pocket CM Imageviewer
c. Adobe PDF Reader

f. HTC Zip
g. Diamondish WM Dialer Skin ( You may install Tachi dialer which was working on this rom)

Steps :
1. Copy "GM5_WWE.abi" to root directory of your Storage Card.
2. Modify as per your requirements and Copy "SDConfig.txt"( attached in second post) to your Storage Card.
3. Establish a successful ActiveSync connection.
4. Press Navipad Down+Soft Reset button to start flashing.
5. After flashing, Go to Settings>Clock & Alarms and Select your timezone.

I guess you are referring to "appointments". Well, it's there but hidden to save RAM. You can enable it using a simple registry edit.

I guess you have already answered your question. Unless you really feel p**d off with what you currently have, there is no need to flash new ROMs. Moreover, flashing is all about trying new things, so if you don't feel the urge to try out new ROMs, well; not needed.
To add to that, I guess I already mentioned pretty much in detail what this ROM has( utilities, free RAM/storage,etc.) So flash it only if you feel you need the stuff.

In case you don't know how to edit the registry, I have inlcluded 'Chome Editor', for adjusting the titanium plugins. Go to Settings>System>Chome Editor and change the tabs as per your preferences.

Second... i found that is inposible to enter 3 digits (192.168.*.*) when I try to set up my wireless network. I can enter only 2 digits (19 .16 .*.*).
How can I fix this?

Thank you for your reply and I really appreciate your effort in providing people with this new ROM. I definitely want to try out your ROM however I would like to know if there is a way i can reset the phone with my previous ROM if something were to go wrong. A sincere word of advice, as you sound to be 'too new' to all this. There are many good threads for newbies like you, and it is recommended that everyone reads through them before starting with flashing. I bet all your queries will be answered.

Regarding fonts, I guess there is a registry hack to change the font size. For the three-digits issue, need to check as I am using a server-assigned IP ( which I have pre-allocated in the wireless router itself against my phone's MAC address). In effect, this works like a static IP only.

Here are the registry entries for the font settings :

I fix fonts problem in 2 steps.
1st. using these tools:

Hmmm... after hard reset IP settings issue is fixed. I don't know what exactly is happening, but now problem is gone...

If You want to free some RAM, use SKTolls to delete registry entries for unused today plugins (or manually delete the registry keys).

HTC Sense 2.5 weather - how to add custom city using PC

Hello everyone - just another way to add custom city to Sense 2.5 enabled PDA. This time via PC. I do not pretend that it the only way - just sharing what I`ve got.
You will need:
SQLite Administrator
homepage
file named 2330fc3c_manila - it can be found in /windows directory
Total Commander PPC
your city weather code (locCode) in accuweather.com database. For example, for Paris in France, Accuweather URL is : _www.accuweather.com/en-us/EUR/FR/FR012/PARIS/quick-look.aspx?partner=accuweather&metric=0
The locCode is EUR|FR|FR012|PARIS
Ok. Here we go.
turn off sense.
copy 2330fc3c_manila elsewhere to your PC, do not forgive to remove read-only atribute.
open 2330fc3c_manila in SQLite Administrator, do not forgive to check "all files".
find the city in your country you do not need - you will replace it whith your own city. go Tables->cities->Fields->cityName
and edit values correspondingly. as the matter of fact - only accuweatherCode is needed to obtain weather - so input it careful.
close SQLite Administrator
copy 2330fc3c_manila to your PPC /windows folder
reboot your PPC
enable Sence 2.5 and enjoy
Tested on At&t FUZE whith Energy.RAPHAEL.23569.Sense2.5.Cookie.Dinik.Glass.Jun.12.
here are good apps righten by JVH3 for weather editing in sense 2.5. I suggest to try it at first, because it is more easy way . besides JVH3 is sort of angry for me starting this thread

didn`t know about your apps, have try almost anything with latest energy rom - only method I mention above helps. AFAIK this is universal way regardless of sense version, but not the user friendly.

BTW - That thread has a ton of useful information in its 30 posts.
Once TouchFLO 3D 2.1 came out, nothing worked anymore, so I created the app at the link. Then I added support for Sense 2.5.

It already does that.
When you start the app, it shuts down sense or touch flo 3d.
Then, if it was running when you started the app, when you exit with the left soft button labeled Exit, it restarts it.

Post a link to the ROM you are flashing. I have an Extra Fuze, so it's no trouble for me to flash it and test. I'm guessing that there might be more than 1 variety of the Gen Y ROM.

You already test it - and say everything is good. so looks like problem on my side

[Q] Quick Menu (Task Manager) don't appear

I update today my WM 6.5 ROM to version 2.07.707.1 and after the first boot I realized that did not show the QUICK MENU located at the top right corner of the Today screen, I tried search something on the web and could not find. I saw that could be enabled in SETUP> SYSTEM> TASK MANAGER, but in this version don't has the SYSTEM > TASK MANGER.
Is this normal? Does anyone know why this happening?
Would any way to enable the QUICK MENU?
