Hello All,
I was looking for a software that could password protect sms so i came across a beautiful software that is worth installing but unfortunately it's not free. If you're interested, you could buy it. Here's a link to the software:

Also, here's a link for the Mobile Safety Suite by SKB

P.S: Google the " " for it if you'd like. Hint: PPC Version
I tried the software but could never get it to work. It just sat there trying to lock my SMS folder. I wound up uninstalling it. PPC crack I installed didn't work either.

Hi Guys has anyone used this program. After hard resetting my Orbit I attempted to reinstall this program but an error message appears each time I do.
Could this be to do with a registry entry or a problem with the software not liking being removed?
Either way I need to know how to get this reinstalled on my Orbit having paid for the privilage!
Hi @ all,
since updating to Bepe's WM6 (GER) I cannot access my bank's website to do transactions. I always get the error message that authentication is not possible. No further comments, no website loading...
For internet access I use the standard browser and WiFi. I did the update 3 month ago. Befor that, I had no problem to do transactions or have a look at the account.
Do I have to configure something in the registry?
Thanks for help and Happy New Year,
TC
Have a look at the certificate of your bank's webserver. Look at the certificate of the trustcenter which issued the webservercertificate, then look at the PDA's control panel for security certificates, whether the trustcenter is in the list of trusted root certification authorities. If not, you can download their certificate from the trustcenter as a .cer-file and import it in the pda by tapping it.
Unfortunately, PDAs are not that eloquent when it comes to ssl-errors :-(

Hi There!
I'm new on this page. Joined here because i have special question and my search on the web didn't lead to any solution.
I got the Samsung i900v omnia with windows mobile 6.1 and would like to improve the privacy concearning sms / email inbox fotos or the list of my recent calls.
The phone has a general password which switches on after a while. But that locks the whole thing. For example I might want my girlfriend to be able to use my omnia for a call or to check something on the web, but she shouldn't have access to all of my data.
I've tested skb mobile safety suite 2.02. but its all to complicated, it seems they want to put a whole new operating system over my phone.
i would be satisfied if the normal password check would occur if certain funktions are activated - which i could select upfront.
If anyone has a solution, i would be very happy. Right now my omnia hasn't been much fun to me yet.
Thx & Cheers
Roman
Ok.. I have searched high and low and cannot find the answer.
I have a Sprint Touch Pro 2 I just received today for work. It is replacing my HTC Mogul. My work now has an Exchange 2007 server that they are able to lock down pretty much anything. I was able to get around these security measures with just a reg hack on my Mogul which had WM 6.0.
Now that I have my Touch Pro 2 I am unable to find out how to work around the issues. Here they are in no particular order:
1. I cannot install any CAB files or programs through active sync if the program does not have a trusted certificate.
2. I cannot launch Remote Desktop Client. It says I have been blocked from doing this.
3. I cannot make registry edits
I have hard reset the phone and then I am able to install anything and do anything. The second after I sync my phone to my work's exchange 2007, I cannot do anything listed above.
Here is what I have done:
http://www.etenblog.com/2008/01/21/disable-exchange-security-policy-for-windows-mobile-devices/
Everyone else with earlier versions of phones have reported some success with this, and the ones that did not received no advice. When I go to my registry, that specific key located at "HKLM\Security\Policies\Policies\00001023" Already has a value of 1, which would lead me to believe it is disabled. It is the same way when I freshly hard reset it. I would assume after the Exchange 2007 sync, that reg key would change to a value of 0 but it doesn't.
So this leads me here, asking if any of you have encountered the same problem. Does my company have me beat? I just wouldn't see why when my Mogul was reg hacked to not load their policy for the password.. which leads me to one last point that is very odd..
When resynced my Mogul to my company's Exchange, it specifically had me set up some sort of PIN to unlock the phone every time I wanted to use it. When I sync my Touch Pro 2, it does not ask me to set up a PIN and it doesn't even ask me for a previous PIN that I would have used on my Mogul. Any thoughts to all of this?
I lived with the Exchange policy of phone lock for few years and finally don't have this issue after installing Stay Unlock on my TP2

For certificates issue try Advanced Config Tool 3.3
Not sure about Remote Desktop one. Above might fix it, or try install another remote app that supports RDP
thanks for the help! Unfortunately I had to sync my phone back to exchange so when I run Advanced config (which I had installed before the sync) says it cannot be opened because it does not have a trusted certificate.. GRRR
Hello
I am searching for a tool, and maybe you guys can help me.
With my previous phone (ericsson k750i) I used a program called MyPhoneExplorer.
It automatically connects itself to your cell and allows you to send sms via bluetooth (advantage: typing on the computer)
Now I'm using windows mobile (on the xperia) but I can't seem to find such an app. (probably because there are so many windows mobile apps)
I found one that works, but it is not free.

What do you guys recommend?
Tnx!
i used mymobiler
jeyo mobile companion
jeyo seems to be what i'm looking for
are you able to let it sync your contacts?
yes, it downloads the contacts from your phone and sim.
and ofcourse upload it to your phone when you edit contacts.
it works like a backup system. so you always have a copy on your pc.
super, gonna try it soon, when my x1 returns from the warranty service :-(
