hi guys
i got one of these 6150. it has a 520 mhz processor and an nvidia 5500 but it is running verry slow i think and the spb benchmark has confirmed it esspesialy the video test which turned out to be misery. also i cannot start the glbenchmark and the javabench too .
so if you can help with a rom upgrade or tweak i will provide you all you need just help me please.

Hello,
I've tried XCPUscalar but my MDA Pro hangs if i try to overclock to 624MHz.
So i think it is not possible to overclock the Universal.

Can't confirm that. With the new XCPUScalar (Ver. 3.0) it works quite well, specially the autoscale facility.

Is it safe to overclock Uni till 624? My previous gadget Himalaya carring 400MHz on board easily worked on 520 MHz. Hope the same story with 520-624.
Is 624 MHz enough to watch video in VGA (640*480) mode?
yes, its enough, but even 520Mhz is enough for watching VGA DivX Videos with TCPMP.

Have you tried version 3 if it actually works at 624 using XCPUScalar on the Universal?
On my test using version 2.98 before, I could only get it to run safe up to 520. If I run it at 624, it hangs.
I have version 3 but, I have not installed and tried it yet.

Installed on my uni last night works brill. 624mhz
Some Universals work at 624Mhz and some don't. I don't think the version of Xcpu Scalar makes the slightest bit of difference.
I've seen all available versions of Xcpu Scalar used with four different Uni's and all versions have failed on three Uni's, while all versions from have worked with the fourth. (Two of devices of my own, and two different friends' devices)
Just the luck of the draw, methinks!
That sucks, I guess the one I got can only run as fast as 520. But I still consider myself lucky, I have not encountered any problems with my Universal except I had to buy an extednded battery for it to make it last a little bit longer.
But I will try XCPUScalar version 3 as soon as I have time, about 2nd week of December. Plus, too many developers are releasing such nice AKU 3.2 ROMs that it is just too much to install everything then the next day you find out there is a newer version already.
Hi I am new owner of a HTC P3300 man am I happy with it.I just upgraded from a Ipaq 6315 the LCD is comparison to the 6315 is out of this world as of the processor it work ok with skype I had 2 Ipaq with 400mhz + processor sorry but the OMAP 850 dos the same job and not eat my battery and to my it is just as fast . As of the HTC Rollr i love it one hand job. As of the camera ok it is not the number 1 out there but if you had Ipag 63— you no watt I mean . As over all I am lost for word I am just vary happy with it

Hello, this is my first post here, and I hope to not to break any rule. Here's what I want to say:
I have a Benq P50, and I'm one of those users that have to regret the fact of having bought a P50 and not a P51 instead, because we, the users of p50, have to stick on WM 2003, and see how the most of the programs we can get are designed for WM5 and superior.
Now, ok, maybe there's no any official update available por our phones to WM5 or 6 because they discontinued the P50 (now they discontinued the p51 as well) but they probably wanted to make the p50 obsolete, so everyone has to change to p51.
Well, now let's talk about hardware & software. These phones have almost the same hardware. Actually, I can state the differences:
To the left is P50, to the right, P51
Display TFT resistive touchscreen, 65K colors / TFT resistive touchscreen, 256K colors
Memory 64 MB RAM, 64 MB ROM / 64 MB RAM, 192 MB ROM
Wlan Wi-Fi 802.11b / Wi-Fi 802.11b/g
Bluetooth v1.1 / v1.2 with A2DP
Infrared Yes / No
So, as you may see, there aren't many differences between these phones. Even the processor is the same.
I just wonder, how can't be possible to adapt a P51 WM6 (or WM5) rom to P50? If they have almost the same hardware, this, theoretically, should be possible, shouldn't it?
I just want to ask you guys to help me do it, I'll use my phone to test it.

I am also having one P50 running on 2003SE, I think because of the ROM there is no space for WM5 or WM6+. There are some websites claiming to upgrade the ROM of the existing devices and I tried to contact some of them but unfortunately, all told me that it is not possible. Despite of lots of problems like Data loss and crapy UI, I still manage to run it with PIM backup & SPB Backup. SPB keyboard V4 works well with it for better typing. Though, recently I bought a Gsmart i128 & upgraded it to WM6.5, with SPB Shell it is giving me Marvelous service, I still love my BenQ P50 because of the Universal IR Remote.
Is there a way to do it?
I'm running stock ROM on my HTC Tilt 2 with a Qualcomm 7201A processor at 528 MHz. Can I overclock it?

I forgot to mention that benchmark was executed on AICP 12.1 with Holo-N 4k3 kernel. I had about 55k on stock before.
