I am having issues with this phone and my Jawbone headset..
It seems that the microphone output is too loud on the bluetooth side of the s3. I noticed the same issue on my girl's s3 and jawbone headset.
Is there a way to turn down the mic gain on the S3?
I am sure this is not specific to the SGS3, but I swear this used to work with my S2.
My 2006 VW doesn't have an AUX input so I use one of the FM Transcievers. It works well.
But...I also use a bluetooth headset while driving.
What I want to happen is to be able to answer calls with my bluetooth headset. Right now while the FM thing is plugged into the headphone jack, the callers voice is sent over the headphone jack and on the stereo. It is as if my bluetooth headset is disabled while the headphone jack is used.
Is there any way to use the headphones to listen to music, but use the bluetooth headset for calls?
BTW, I am using PowerAmp.
Have you tried changing the order in which you connect the 2 devices. Try making sure you connect the transmitter before connecting the bluetooth headset. You may also need to edit the properties of the bluetooth headset and disable a2dp to prevent music from going to the headset. If all else fails, there should be a button during a call that you can use to switch between bluetooth, speakerphone, handset. Not ideal while driving, though.
One thing Android needs is a proper mixer control panel...

Actually the Headset button is lit up on the in call screen, as if the bluetooth headset is connected for the call. Unfortunately it is still routing through the headset/handset mic.
Hello, I just bought a bluetooth headset that supports both headset and a2dp mods.
I can listen to music fine.
And when i receive a call it switches to headset profile fine..
I can hear the call from earphones but..mic does not work.
I downloaded and tested with an application bluetooth mic tester and it was working fine in this application.
So no hardware problems with it.
What i suspect is, this headset doesnt have any pin code to pair devices..
You just discover the device and pair without any pins..
So, can it be a security issue not to enable microphone on calls?
And if so,
is there a way to change this behaviour, modiying a file etc on audio settings??
Thanks?
Is there a way to get all audio to be played through bluetooth when a bluetooth headset is connected?
Right now when I use a bluetooth headset and if I get a text or any sort of notification sound, the sound okays through the phone speakers and through the bluetooth headset.
If I'm not mistaken the bt headset still has to be a2dp.
The headset I use supports and. Audio from music and videos play only through the bluetooth headset but when I get notifications or the phone ringtone plays through both the phone speaker and the Bluetooth headset. Ive tried a few bluetooth headsets and they all do this... Is there a fix?
Hey guys! I'm facing the much known issue with the strong echo in calls while using the handsfree speaker. My audio is just fine, but the other party suffers from a slightly delayed strong echo.
While using the ear speaker or a headset it's mostly fine and with no echo.
Only in SIP-Calls through the native phone app this issue extends from handsfree speaker to the ear speaker as well.
In any case a huge number of devices and versions seems to be afflicted.
Due to my observations, I noticed that there is a change in the behavior of the handsfree function between the stock rom and the lineage rom.
Stock ROM: with the handsfree function enabled, the audio is output via the same ear speaker as for regular calls (without the handsfree func.).
LineageOS 16.0: the handsfree function outputs the audio to the audio speaker and NOT to the ear speaker.
On my device (S7 herolte), the mic is located right next to the audio speaker, whereas the ear speaker is much far away from the mic. Maybe this is the crucial reason for this issue?
Therefore I would like to change the audio output from audio speaker to ear speaker while the handsfree function in calls. Would you guys be so kind to help me with that? Are there any configs to be edited for that?
I'm on a
Samsung Galaxy S7 (herolte) SM-G930F,
LineageOS 16.0-20200607-UNOFFICIAL-herolte,
lineage_herolte-userdebug 9 PQ3A.190801.002 eng.ivanme.20200607.180926 test-keys.
Thank you in advance, guys.
