Correction in writing tool and SMS

the corrector in writing tool and sms can be changed to another language?? From Eng to Ita for example? Maybe downloading some file to change...???

noone can help me??? :?

only way i know of is to change the whole rom to a rom of the wanted language

There is a file called autocorrect.txt in the device's Windows folder. Perhaps someone has a version of this in the language you require.

I've found a programm called LEng which is like resco keyboard (allow to select keyboard layout) and add language support...but is not freeware

That file is just to autocorrect...example: i write "teh" he correct to "the"
but what i mean is: i write "whe" and he give me the option "where" "when" "wheel"
please..help!

HELP GER TO WWE

HI enyone... I Hawe a problem with my MDA Pro... I want to update it from GER to english with UNI TMUK 11242 126 10002 Ship.exe, but it says ERROR 120: COUNTRY ID ERROR 34.34.38.38.38 How can i made it myself..... :?:

Anyway, here it is:
Download this file from the XDA FTP : MaUpgradeUtnoID
Extract the files of the ROM that you have to a folder, then copy the above file to the same directory then run the noID file TWICE
Twice because normally the 1st time will give a country ID error, then run it right after again, this should work

4. for the german keyboard on english ROM
4a. get a registry editor (like Resco)
4b. search the Change the key
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\OEM\Qwerty]
4c. edit - Layout in decimal to 66567
5. softreset
6. enjoy

Howto add extra language to Phonepad B&B 4.1

I was searching for a way to add the Dutch language to the B&B 4.1 ROM of Tom.
I saw in the thread a lot of people where searching for this so i made a little howto
First of all i need to thank the guys from who i have gotten this here in xda (search & find):

Well here we go:
Code:
1. Copy T9DutchLdb.dll to \Windows folder of Artemis.
4. Edit the Artemis Registry in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\HTC\IntelliPad
a. Incerease by one the value of the "LibraryCount" dword (in my case from 10 to 11)
b. Created a "Library10" dword with the value of 8. (This is for the Dutch language).
Soft reset and you can use the dutch language in Phonepad!
If you want to use another language not provided you must copy the appropriate T9<language>Ldb.dll to the \Windows folder.
AND
change the Library10 value to the value for your language.
These are the languages i found in another thread:
7=Danish
8=Dutch
9=Finnish
10=Hungarian
11=Norwegian
12=Polish
13=Romanian
14=Slovak
15=Swedish
I have added the dutch language file for people who want to make the change!

Do you know also a way to get the keyboard to recognize dutch words?

A better method would be the easy one . First you have to copy your t9 file directly in windows folder. Than select phonepad as input method (click on the little arrow beside the keyboard on the bar) and select Options... Input Method: Phone Pad. Select Options... Languages tab... Database... and select your language.
For t9 DLL's i downloaded t9languages.zip from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=290007.
I added Romanian in my phone and works great.
PS: Sorry my english, hope is allright.

n520 error: language differs

Hello.
I have n520 deutch language model.
Everytime I try to update its ROM I get this message:
The language in this Flash Image update (ENGLISH) differs from that on your device (DEUTSCH)!

You have to use no ID installer

I have MaUpgradeUt_noID installer. But when i try to open it says: UpdateRadio could not be located in the dynamic link lybrary RUU.dll
I put this file into WM6_18125 folder, there are all files including ruu.dll

men.. wtf? why do you use RUU from other devices? i told you many times, open os_122u.nbf with winhex and replace ENG in the beginning once with
FRA
GER
ESN

I had hungarian one.
I cold reset it and becomes german. Then modify it as you said and worked.
Just I had an error in winhex when I want to save. But I used XVI32 (free) and worked.

German keyboard file for wm6.1 ENG?

i install the shadow 2.1 CE Clean version ENG but everything works fine
but the problem is i can`t writing in my qwertz keyboard german
Have you people a idea how can write in german
it is possible to add german keyboard files in wm6.1 ?

If you're talking about hardware keyboard, look at the Hermes Wiki or install Advanced Configuration Tool by Schaps.

You need to create Registry value of name "Locale" and type of "String" and data of "Localization ID" within
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Keybd]

no. you have to read carefully the wiki. you will see there that you have to create it in
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Oem\Qwerty]
the name of the key is Layout
the value (hex) of the key is 20407
do a soft reset via switching the device off (long button press of the on/off button) as it keeps your changes. otherwise you will loose your changes.

this CAB does the registry entry for a german keyboard and installs the file (\windows\sym.0409.txt) for the german umlauts (that you get ä first and not á when you switch via dot + space)

edit the file \windows\sym.0409.txt yourself. it is very easy.
have a look into it and you will see what i mean.

Goto the following registry entry
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Oem\Qwerty]There is a key called 'Layout' and it is in Decimal.
The suitable value for German Hermes keyboard is 20407 (132103 in decimal). =qwertz

Thanks for the posts. I installed the rom, then I installed the tool of stan23. I looked into the registry and the value is 20407. When I want to use the hardware keyboard I can't write a "ä, ö, ü" not even an "á". I can't understand it.

check the following:
- is the file sym.0409.txt still there (maybe you have deleted it?) and have a look into it.
- is the value of the reg.key 20407 HEX
- when typing: make sure you press "a" then "dot-key" then "space-bar".
if this does not work, hard-reset.
if this does not work, try a different rom
