P3600 WM6 - ADW-edition - English and Dutch
Version 1.1​
Introduction
I put a lot of time to release an English and Dutch version at the same time. This is my second ROM (for both languages). I didn't post the first ROM here to see if it was stable enough. I think this second version is stable and good enough to post here.
The only differences between the Dutch and English version is the language. The ROM is based on Bepe's (OS 5.2.1908 Build 18508.0.7.0) BaseROM. I hope you people like this version.

When you already have a ROM with RadioROM 1.46 or higher you could download the ROM without RadioROM. To view your RadioROM version go to start -> settings -> tab: system -> Device Information. The version include RadioROM is RadioROM version: 1.50.08.11.

Tranlations errors
First I Would like to thank you for this Rom
I downloaded the Rom and installed it but I detected some translations errors in the English version, in calendar several months aren’t translate correct, also when I have an appointment it shows donderdag :”appointment” if you could correct this translations errors in calendar this Rom would be perfect.

If I understand it right,
You are using the English version and some words are Dutch?
I think it has something to do with changing the regional settings to Dutch.
You can try to change the Regional settings to English?

Hi 1st thanks for a nice rom i love to have it but when i install n try my device says "GPS not found" ! i try to enable gps icon but it wont work ! also did try trinity hack to enable it but still same can someone plz help GPS work for me in this rom ! plz

If you really cannot get GPS working (you really need to wait the "GPS not found" becomes "Waiting for a valid GPS Signal" after some time - and then fixes. If this is not the case it is almost certainly that your radio rom is not the right version. Search the forum - for version 1.46.11.00, say - and you should be good to go.

What RadioROM are you using?
I advice RadioROM 1.46.xx.11 or higher.

radio version im using is
im using already 1.50 radio rom which include in this rom too

For qtek9000 available on my site avoid "country error" only header changed to qtek_001. http://qtek9000.extra.hu

what is the difference / improvement / additional feature compare to AKU3.3 from Helmi?
btw, i just finished reinstalling all my applications on Helmi's AKU3.3, can I upgrade to AKU3.5 and restore the apps, data, etc. from my backup based on AKU3.3? it just takes so much time to reinstall all apps from the scratch

clear set is ok. No start screen. nothing in screen.

Perfect ROM for now
Hi folks,
After flash it on mu Unversal I start to test that I care about:
1. Speed is more than this one AKU3.3
2. Avaliable memory after flashing 30MB (this is with SD card inserted)
3. No memory leaks for now even when my Garmin Mobile XT working
See tomorow what will be the diference
Actualy I think that is the best one for now

Just finished the upgrade...
Really, I cannot see the big difference from the previous 3.3.
Only the addition of the Windows Live..
as of now no issues found yet (based on my old software from my extended ROM).

Still I want to let you now the bugs that still excists.
-When installing Resco Explorer, the OK button is still missing.
-No PDF reader is included, I use PocketXpdf.
-Start/Settings/connections/Beam is standard On, for power reasons it should be better of.
-Can't change the start page of IE, returns back to default page everytime.
-Also I like your Crossbow dialer skin, why you didn't included it?
Anyway it's not to critisize you, I only want to help you!
It's a great and fast Rom.

AKU3.3 was a great ROM - no real problems.
I am looking forward to trying this one but I got the country code error.
Please can someone help - I ran the program (in the country code error folder) but not alot happened???
Up until today I had no problem installing AKU3.3 but now I can't ever re-install this one.
I am sure that this have been covered before but I would really appreciate some help.

Helmi's AKU 3.5 rom dont have radio rom 1.14 inbuilt...

I released few weeks ago my first WM6 ROM in original french (details in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=306375 ), and as many people asked me if it could be possible to have WM6 translated in their language, I promised that I will improve my ROM building process to be facilitate ROM translation in many languages.
Now the process is ready, I'm testing my new french WM6 ROM since about a week and I had really good results!
I need to know in which languages you would like me to translate the ROM, but for that I need first to get an original ROM in your language, better for an Hermes but if there is no available it can be a ROM for another device. It's only to take a look at the original translation, and it will be even better if the ROM contains the lastest OEM apps and drivers!
This ROM contains all the features of WM6 Pro in their lastest build, new OEM drivers and apps, and few other nice things of my own creativity.

I don't know yet for traditional chinese, as it is more complicated to translate (need special input for example) and not easy to understand traditional chinese for me but I will think about it! And I think there is already a release in chinese (WM6 Asia Edition).

Internet via ActiveSync works,but I don't try with GPRS.
This ROM is very fast and beautiful but I now have some problems with delayed ringtone while using bluetooth headset.

Well, the ROM works good, but I can't upgrade it from 3.43. When I tried it, it hanged after the Asus logo .
Later I downgraded my P525 to 3.20 and then upgrade to the WM6, and IT WORKED!!!!
The internet through ActiveSync works perfectly, GPRS really not working, but its not a big problem for me.

I'm now using my own customized ROM based on this beta ROM, so far the speed is faster than AKU 3.5.2 Pack 2.
Same here, hardly use GPRS as public WIFI hotspots are available all over the place here.

Same as me,I am using my private customized WM6 base on this ROM,lucky that it is in NB0 format as ever so we can cook it the old way.
Don't know if the official WM6 ROM is in NB0 format or not,if not hope Ingvarr be with us.

Yeah, I wonder why it's still the same, I believe the base is still WM5 ROM 3.43 and they did a revamp to make it become WM6

Since this is still base on WM6 Beta so I don't plan to publish it but if you want to try, here you go.

All of the above applications are freeware, only CeleTask need a registration key, not sure if there is a free version.
Some of the applications will be defaulted to MiniSD card so if you see Program Files and Windows directory on your MiniSD card then it is normal.
You need to wait for a while to see the today's screen or start menu after hard reset or after flash since the populating the of basic.tgz from minisd card will take time.

What do you mean by vanilla, lite version?
I can't use the default one as I need some apps that don't come with default ROM, I also don't need to install as .cab so one way is to build or customize the ROM.
And the default ROM also didn't come with optimized registry so I need to tweak it manually.
The only thing that I feel not working properly is the CeleDial, instead of showing me the contacts WM6 give an option to hide or show keypad which I don't know how to disable it. Any idea?

Yaka, you started off with English with CJK support which was very good then added CJKT and later...French and German and Russian and Greek and .... Do you really think you will get more users just by supporting the entire world languages while the internal programs are gear toward Chinese like the Chinese Calendar, Chinese Voice Commander, Chinese contacts search, QQ etc...
Instead making it bloated with languages, why not just keep it simple and focus on the essential programs and make sure everything is working well.
I found Windows Live doesn't work right off the bat, couldn't get rid the Resco Explorer because the updated one already out. The updated 7.02 Resco Registry, FTP and plugin are not compatible to the built-in Resco Explorer 7.0. Sound quality seems changes, ringtone selection not sure same as before ...(not quite sure whether it is because the ROM is for HTC Diamond)
Not even have time to test out the Bluetooth, QuickGPS Autohibernate?.. and others.
You have a very unique and nice ROM and I know many people especially Chinese who use this Forum would agree to but keep silence because this is after all, an international forum dominated by people who speak English.
I'm still using one of your initial version but just couldn't move up to your later ones.

I'm a chinese ,so I put some chinese programs in the full version.
I think you can use the lite version, and install other programs by yourself.
I know the windows live is a bug.

Yaka, I tried your lite version and back to the full version. Somehow, I don't have much luck with your lite version.
For the full version, you use the newer version of Windows Live 10.6.0039.2100, actually the older one 10.6.0032.2100 works just fine.
Resco Explorer 7.02 is quite a bit improved over the 7.0.
I know it may be too much to ask from you, Yaka, since most ROM chefs do the same thing, ie. make their ROMs not re-cook-able, I would appreciate (may be others too) if you leaves the RGU information in the full version ROM just like the shipped factory ROM so user can re-cook the ROM and just delete the things they don't want. Porting system form one phone to another, adding different language supports, and adding new exotic applications, tweaking bluetooth audio supports are still best to leave that to the chefs to handle.
The ported Diamond ROM is much faster than the original Trinity ROM.

I've tested the lite version for 3 days. So far so good. Performance might not be the fastest among all ROMs I've tried, but it's way above average. Only one problem thought: sometimes it will get stuck when it's coming back up from soft reset. I can tell every time when it's stuck, QuickGPS is loading because I can see its menu bar at the bottom of the screen.
I'm using ITA version of QuickGPS because that's the only cab I can find. Can anyone help me with a WWE version of QuickGPS?

hi, i just tried your ROM yesterday. it works fine... good support for chinese. i always wanted to get rid of my previous ce-star.
my feedback are...
- font is a little too big?
- maybe you should pack the full version without resco explorer
- add back the old default MS games? solitaire, etc...
btw, you mentioned that it has QQ. but i cant find the program anywhere... any help?

Yaka, in addition, Bluetooth A2DP is not working correctly, sound hesitating. PDAViet ROM works fined. I compared the PDAViet ROM, it has a BluetoothFix CAB. I copied it over but still could not fix the problem.

Alright Yaka, i will flash my p3600i and will let u know...

- It's working with P3600i (I went to Bootloader first then flashed)
- Nice start up screen (in BLue)
- Fast response or ROM fast
- 3G dialpad or Video call (but I can only test voice at this stage)

You can change the registry key to AUTD

After I flash the new rom, the PPC can't boot up
Mine is P3600I

Hi Yaka,
The ver is work for my P3600i,
1) No CHT input
2) Internet ICON & "Browser " can't Launch IE.
3) Setting -> Communications "Wi-Fi" TURN ON/OFF not work.

Rom is stable but got Chinese characters somewhere... like dialpad

if you don't like it, don't use it. cooker set the rules, if this is not the game you want, go home with no guts.
