Yaka, you started off with English with CJK support which was very good then added CJKT and later...French and German and Russian and Greek and .... Do you really think you will get more users just by supporting the entire world languages while the internal programs are gear toward Chinese like the Chinese Calendar, Chinese Voice Commander, Chinese contacts search, QQ etc...
Instead making it bloated with languages, why not just keep it simple and focus on the essential programs and make sure everything is working well.
I found Windows Live doesn't work right off the bat, couldn't get rid the Resco Explorer because the updated one already out. The updated 7.02 Resco Registry, FTP and plugin are not compatible to the built-in Resco Explorer 7.0. Sound quality seems changes, ringtone selection not sure same as before ...(not quite sure whether it is because the ROM is for HTC Diamond)
Not even have time to test out the Bluetooth, QuickGPS Autohibernate?.. and others.
You have a very unique and nice ROM and I know many people especially Chinese who use this Forum would agree to but keep silence because this is after all, an international forum dominated by people who speak English.
I'm still using one of your initial version but just couldn't move up to your later ones.

I'm a chinese ,so I put some chinese programs in the full version.
I think you can use the lite version, and install other programs by yourself.
I know the windows live is a bug.
Yaka, I tried your lite version and back to the full version. Somehow, I don't have much luck with your lite version.
For the full version, you use the newer version of Windows Live 10.6.0039.2100, actually the older one 10.6.0032.2100 works just fine.
Resco Explorer 7.02 is quite a bit improved over the 7.0.
I know it may be too much to ask from you, Yaka, since most ROM chefs do the same thing, ie. make their ROMs not re-cook-able, I would appreciate (may be others too) if you leaves the RGU information in the full version ROM just like the shipped factory ROM so user can re-cook the ROM and just delete the things they don't want. Porting system form one phone to another, adding different language supports, and adding new exotic applications, tweaking bluetooth audio supports are still best to leave that to the chefs to handle.
The ported Diamond ROM is much faster than the original Trinity ROM.

I've tested the lite version for 3 days. So far so good. Performance might not be the fastest among all ROMs I've tried, but it's way above average. Only one problem thought: sometimes it will get stuck when it's coming back up from soft reset. I can tell every time when it's stuck, QuickGPS is loading because I can see its menu bar at the bottom of the screen.
I'm using ITA version of QuickGPS because that's the only cab I can find. Can anyone help me with a WWE version of QuickGPS?

hi, i just tried your ROM yesterday. it works fine... good support for chinese. i always wanted to get rid of my previous ce-star.
my feedback are...
- font is a little too big?
- maybe you should pack the full version without resco explorer
- add back the old default MS games? solitaire, etc...
btw, you mentioned that it has QQ. but i cant find the program anywhere... any help?

Yaka, in addition, Bluetooth A2DP is not working correctly, sound hesitating. PDAViet ROM works fined. I compared the PDAViet ROM, it has a BluetoothFix CAB. I copied it over but still could not fix the problem.

Internet via ActiveSync works,but I don't try with GPRS.
This ROM is very fast and beautiful but I now have some problems with delayed ringtone while using bluetooth headset.

Well, the ROM works good, but I can't upgrade it from 3.43. When I tried it, it hanged after the Asus logo .
Later I downgraded my P525 to 3.20 and then upgrade to the WM6, and IT WORKED!!!!
The internet through ActiveSync works perfectly, GPRS really not working, but its not a big problem for me.

Same here, hardly use GPRS as public WIFI hotspots are available all over the place here.

Don't know if the official WM6 ROM is in NB0 format or not,if not hope Ingvarr be with us.

Yeah, I wonder why it's still the same, I believe the base is still WM5 ROM 3.43 and they did a revamp to make it become WM6

Since this is still base on WM6 Beta so I don't plan to publish it but if you want to try, here you go.

You need to wait for a while to see the today's screen or start menu after hard reset or after flash since the populating the of basic.tgz from minisd card will take time.

What do you mean by vanilla, lite version?
I can't use the default one as I need some apps that don't come with default ROM, I also don't need to install as .cab so one way is to build or customize the ROM.
And the default ROM also didn't come with optimized registry so I need to tweak it manually.
The only thing that I feel not working properly is the CeleDial, instead of showing me the contacts WM6 give an option to hide or show keypad which I don't know how to disable it. Any idea?

No, turning on the External Speaker did not help at all, matter of fact the darn Ext Speaker Icon got stuck on and I had to SR to get it to go away. [Edit: this was in the beta ROM, I'll report update with the release]

Okay its the same with the release and Internet Phone.
E/3G Gizmo connection not possible
Wifi Dial out does not seem possible
Wifi Dial in possible but no loud speaker on Hermes.
After one dial in or one attempt to dial out, dial in does not seem possible - unless you are into VoIP Settings and click "Done". Assume this resets the Gizmo connection.
As for the dial out error:
"Cannot complete the call. The signal may be unavailable or the phone number may not be valid. Verify the number or try again later."
I may be dialing the number wrong but I tried all ways:
+1 512
00 1 512
and no prefix numbers before the 7 digit number.
I am absolutely astonished by the spped, I mean: my Tytn never was so fast before, nor even with the 3,30c.
I installed the full version and over it i Installed Skype, spb backup, xnview, a kaiser like Home plug, and Efficasoft GPRS traffic.
Well everything fly, also if i go to browse the window directory i just need a few seconds to do it.

This version has newer OEM apps and is based on the official ROMs, this one seems to be more stable (no more freeze on boot from my beta testers) and has more memory. After that, I can't make a choice for you... only recommandation!

is it possible not to make new posts with "thanks..." or "i will test this rom ...."? because so you get in a few minutes more than 10 sites and it's hard to read all...
i think everybody will like it, when he/she can read only bugs and important questions about this rom and not every time "will this rom be translated to..." or "thanks for this new rom".

Don't be confused with the ROM version, here it isn't really important.
To make things clear, this is still the same build as in the 3.57a versions but with this one is based on the official ROMs and has newer OEM apps.
The 3.57 ROMs were "hybrid", I made them by myself using various optimized components for best performance, but those could have incompatibilities with 3rd party softwares. The official ROMs also offer good performances, a bit lower than my 3.57 ROMs, but nothing really noticeable comparing 3.54 to 3.57, and I'm sure people would rather to have an OS very stable than to have the fastest OS!

Not yet, this problem also occurs on official WM6 ROMs so it doesn't help me to focus the problem.
But for sure this issue is not caused by the keyboard driver.

Introduction
I put a lot of time to release an English and Dutch version at the same time. This is my second ROM (for both languages). I didn't post the first ROM here to see if it was stable enough. I think this second version is stable and good enough to post here.
The only differences between the Dutch and English version is the language. The ROM is based on Bepe's (OS 5.2.1908 Build 18508.0.7.0) BaseROM. I hope you people like this version.

If I understand it right,
You are using the English version and some words are Dutch?
I think it has something to do with changing the regional settings to Dutch.
You can try to change the Regional settings to English?

Hi 1st thanks for a nice rom i love to have it but when i install n try my device says "GPS not found" ! i try to enable gps icon but it wont work ! also did try trinity hack to enable it but still same can someone plz help GPS work for me in this rom ! plz

If you really cannot get GPS working (you really need to wait the "GPS not found" becomes "Waiting for a valid GPS Signal" after some time - and then fixes. If this is not the case it is almost certainly that your radio rom is not the right version. Search the forum - for version 1.46.11.00, say - and you should be good to go.

What RadioROM are you using?
I advice RadioROM 1.46.xx.11 or higher.

Alright Yaka, i will flash my p3600i and will let u know...
working
Flashed and here is the result:
- It's working with P3600i (I went to Bootloader first then flashed)
- Nice start up screen (in BLue)
- Fast response or ROM fast
- 3G dialpad or Video call (but I can only test voice at this stage)
- Bluetooth working
- Wifi working
- After bootup, 22MB of RAM (Manila 2D running)
- Battery status with %
- Nice calculator
- Skype included
- Cyberon Dic is in Chinese (I have no idea)
- Hand Canlendar in Chinese
- CallerLoc in Chinese
- Resco File Manager
=> Voice command in (first tab) in Chinese (included description)

You can change the registry key to AUTD
After I flash the new rom, the PPC can't boot up
Mine is P3600I
Hi Yaka,
The ver is work for my P3600i,
1) No CHT input
2) Internet ICON & "Browser " can't Launch IE.
3) Setting -> Communications "Wi-Fi" TURN ON/OFF not work.

if you don't like it, don't use it. cooker set the rules, if this is not the game you want, go home with no guts.
