1500 high capacity battery P3300 - P3300, MDA Compact III Accessories

Who can tell me if such batteries really make a difference? I have found many to replace the standard 1200 but I wonder if they are really 1500 and last longer.

????
1500>1200, no?

I could work that out myself. I just wanted to know if anybody has any experience and suggestions. The high capacity battery I bought for my previous PDA was supposed to last longer but I hardly noticed any difference.

where you bought it ? can you tell us more about the mark of such battery? and the specs?

I am interested in buying a new one and not in the high capacity battery of my old PDA, which I no longer have.
The one I would like to buy is described as follows: "1500mAh Akku f. HTC P3300/T-Mobile MDA compact III#37. These batteries are made from high Quality Japanese cells of extended Capacity and have no memory effects".

I had an iPaq rx3715 with a 1440 mAh battery and bought the 2880 mAh version. It trippled (!!!) my running time. The battery would last 40 hours with minimum backlight, 24 with medium, 12 hours for video playback with very big power consuming headphones, 10 hours surfing with WLan and playing power draining games and 30 hours of mp3 playback. That pda already has almost unbeatable battery uptime, but with that battery it was perfect.
I got it from akku.net, a German store. They sold me good quality batteries up to now but they don't have that "high" capacity battery. I don't think that you can call 1500 mAh actually high capacity. 2400 would be minimum for me. 1500 mAh at the same size would be an option but not if it is bigger than the actual battery.

I agree, 1500 is still a "low" capacity, i have 8.2V 7200 mAh batteries at home. I wouldnt bother changing from 1200 to 1500, you really wont notice a difference. After a while batteries will stop holding their charge so well anyway.
I'm waiting for 7200 mAh lol

just for the records,
There are 2400 mAh Batterys for the Artemis available. But they are, as one would expect bigger than the ones shipped with your device. So when purchaising a high capacity Battery you'll get a new Battery Cover shipped with it so the biger battery will fit into your device.
Greetings
Jabami

that sounds horrible lol. pictures anyone?

I'm not sure about the tests at the moment, but DO NOT BUY 4800 mAh battery for Uni, it's a crap! 3200 mah is the best of all batteries (perfect life about 4-5-6-7 days) .

3800mAh
I have this one http://www.expansys.de/p.aspx?i=139188 since November 2005 and it is still the best you can get as it is just one pice.
I've just bought a 3150mAh battery from SuperGPS.co.uk and ran a simple test. Playing a 352x240, 30fps Divx, at low brightness, I reckon I'll see over four hours - exactly what I wanted!

I have all 3 batteries, too.....and Win_xp is absolutely right, the 4800mah is crap, compared to the 3200.
....guys, if you charge 4800 SLOWLY (10-15H) in uni through usb and not with the 3200 charger (or not with 3200charger+final 30% in uni, as I was doing before) you'll get much better result (not 3200, but similar....).
Probably you already know, but charging 4800mah batteries with the stand alone usb charger gives green light and stops charging as soon as they hit 3200mah.....
really? ive read on some other sites about the 4800 batts being good but it was up and down, my girlfriend ordered me one and its on its way and i was wondering what kind of battery life to expect and what is the right way to charge it, so this means that i can only charge it via usb? i just wanted a good high life battery as i have an old original 1600batt that wont last4 hrs at standby and 1 hour active, so how should i use it & charge it and out of who has this batt what kind of life should i expect?
6 houres of continuos use from full (100%) to flat (5%). Never charged on usb: i'll try tonight.

I have the same problem with the 4800mah battery; it does not contain 4800mah, that's for sure! So, I would like to know:

[Q] Maximum Power From Battery?

Hi guys. I searched but I don't think Anyone has asked this before. Ok, this may seem dumb and i'm sorry but, I'm wanting to get a better battery for my Excalibur but have a question first. Would it be possible to use a battery that's higher than 1050mah and 3.7v? If so, what's the maximum volts/amps I can use without frying the Excalibur? I've found a few batteries that would fit but are a lot more powerful than the original Excalibur battery.
Thanks for any help you all can provide.
Battery capacity is limited by the size and the chemistry used. Li-Ion delivers 3.7 volt - you cannot change that and the device will not work with others. You are simply stuck with what is available. Try to get an original battery, they usually supply the best capacity.
Cheap 3.rd party only brag about their capacity that they never deliver - they simply lie to you straight face. If you are curious (and have some knowledge about the topic) follow my signature.
i am not advising this and do it your own risk, but, i used to use the battery from my htc s310, i had to use a little pressure to pop it in the dash. but once its in, it gives you a longer battery life than the original dash battery. you cant charge it while its the dash though, you have to put back in the s310 to charge it.
Thanks Tobbbie for the useful info. Much appreciated!
Kachman, I don't think I'd want to go that far as to having to switch a battery between phones every time I need to charge it. >< I've done some research since my last post and now have another question - I've heard about the 1300mah batteries but I don't want to have to get a bigger door for my phone. Is the 1300mah okay to use for the S620 and will it fit in with the factory door? If not, what is the absolute highest that will still fit in the original door?
Thanks.
Why not just make a battery hack? USB plug soldered to a homemade battery pack. Then plug it into the USB port on the bottom on the phone.
Each battery is 1.5 volts (AAA, AA, C, D), thus you would need at least three connected in series. 1.5 x 3 = 4.5 volts. I would think the extra .8 volts may not hurt the phone. Electrical components have a tolerance for voltage variances.
Only way to find out is to test it, unless you take the extra mile to design something to reduce the voltage before it goes into the phone.
I remember Stylez advocating long time ago for a prominent Simplo 1550 mAh battery. May be you can find it.

I have a standard 960 mAh and the 1550 mAh in my S620, They both came with the phone when it was new (From BT) The 1550 mAh is much better (Longer lasting) but does require a new back cover which is HUGE compared to the smaller one.
No idea where to buy the battery or cover from though, Sorry.

External Battery Pack - your pick?

Long story, but need to urgently place an order for an external battery pack. I personally need something that is compact and gives me at least three full charges on a single charge.
The hunt has led me too this one, has loads of positive reviews as well - New Trent ifuel IMP500 5000mAh External Battery pack.
Apologies if mistaken, but I don't think there's a thread dedicated to external battery packs... thought this one one could help a lot of people discuss their experience and also seek help on deciding the right one for them.
Coming back to my case, anyone here used the above model? Any other recommendations?
TIA.. Cheers!
I just bought this one when it was on sale for $49 over Memorial Day.

The Zagg one for $49 sounds like one sweet deal... too bad I'm a few days late !!

Checking out the energizer... btw, awesome battery performance u got there mate!
Have read several issues with these external power packs not charging the GS2... can anybody confirm successfully using this/any Trent product?
XP8000 ain't even half empty yet.. i probably estimate get a total around 40-50hrs with S2 battery + XP8000 on KE2 firmware.. alot longer on KE7 i suspect. Folks jumping from 8hrs to 24hrs with KE2 -> KE7. So 120-150hrs with S2 + XP8000 on KE7 ?? I hope so LOL
Yeah some external batteries aren't charging. The XP8000 to initiate the charging your press the check battery/on button (you can see in photo above to right of blue led status indicator).
I use a ZaggSparq and an XP18000. The XP18000 usually charges my laptop, but it works hella well in charging the SGSII.

Your laptop battery is around ~15V, which is 4 to 5 times higher than the battery in the note.
the lack of the polarity signs on top, and the price , and the fact that they are chinese batterys http.. etc etc ..superexporter.com/suppliers/quality111699398794775225-ningbo_qcel_battery_co_ltdDOThtml (can´t post links) makes me believe that they are just like all the others chinese fakes in ebay, worth the buy .. but don´t be expecting big mah numbers.. in fact don´t even expect 80 % of the mah of stock battery

Agreed. I get about 50% of 'stated' mAh on my Chinese batteries. Still a good buy, don't get me wrong, but I am going to pay the extra $15 to get a stock battery now.

4150mAh @ 3.7 volts though. I bet your laptop battery runs closer to 15 volts! THe more important figure is how many watt/hr's the battery can supply.
4150mAh @ 3.7v = 15.2625 watt/hr (4.125*3.7)
4150mAh @ 15v = 61.875 watt/hr (4.125*15)
anyone with the test reports of the same
not worth it.
I bought one of each and the slim one did not even last a day. And the thick one lasted exactly a day. I was surfing the net for about one hour constantly texting maybe a 2hr phn call total. And some games like temple run and asphalt. I still recommend the mugen 3400mah this lasted me a day and a half doing the same things.

Anker 1750mah Replacement Battery

Hello,
I've had terrible battery life on my GSII for the longest time now. I've tried countless ROMs, Kernels, Modems, combinations and nothing has worked. At this point I'm fairly convinced it's a hardware issue. The cheapest/easiest route is to replace my battery. I know the Anker 1900 mah comes well recommended, but has anyone tried their 1750 mah model?
Here's the one I'm looking at specifically:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Anker-Batte...726270?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item3371b0867e
I'm hoping it's the "1900 mah" battery that's gotten so many good reviews, but properly labelled this time around. Any thoughts? Anyone have this battery?
Thanks!
I have the anker 1900mah. It is a tight fit. I didnt have any problems with it but case/cover extended battery are a more practical way to go.
Just buy a case/cover battery from ebay ... it will add another 2200mAh to your existing battery.. .while it is bulkier, it is not that unuseable. It will keep your phone powered for at least 8 hours under intense usage.... (a lot more hours if you do not much)... When the case battery is drained down, you can easily remove it and have your old phone back.
But to extend the life of your battery on your phone, you are better off running it down to 40% before attaching the extended case battery. The case battery will automatically charge your phone battery back to 100%, while it gets drained down. And itself will run out first. This way you minimize the time spent with the bulk.
I'm going to go ahead and order the 1750 mah later today. Once they come in I'll let you know how they perform!

I experienced Anker batteries to have drop down in power during time.
For 2 months it was fine.. but after i starting loosing power.. according to Battery Monitor Anker after 4 months of use lost 34% of its max power...
If you drain your battery down too much or leave it empty uncharged, that can happen
