Interested in Obtaining base WM6 Rom!

If anyone can help me obtain a newer (or release!) WM6 rom, I'd be ever so grateful. I'd like to do some cooking on it, and release it on here.
I can help you get it off your phone if that's they only way you have it! Or, of course, an .nb is good too

You are a genius...cooking a rom with some heavy bugs and WHAT A COINCIDENCE, you are the only man who can fix it...only by skype

An Opinion -
This is a developers site where people help each other and learn for free.
That's why this site is so amazing and successfull.
Asking for donations or money to help others for a fee should be stopped immediately. If anyone wants a donation or money for services (sick) then create your own private site and do it from there!
The argument that thier time is money and cannot help noobs, then they have no place on this site.
Also, ALL DONATION requests on this site should be for XDA-Developers and XDA-Developers Wiki sites ONLY.
This is a call to the administrators of XDA Developers: Please keep this site to the standards that it always is and has been.

Its disgusting and unethical.
Each to their own, but do it in your forum/web/blog not here.
I am all for donations, and praising/rewarding/bribing the creators of these excellent tools/roms etc.
Its a crying shame when that gets turned into a profit making, scamming situation and preying on noobs and constantly asking to be PAID (not donated to) to hep using free information just because they can't be bothered showing the way and would rather charge to do it themselves.

I agree - BUT donations should not be solicited from this site.
Its getting ugly!!
Developers can link to their own sites and ask for donations from there.
Not from here. This can be controlled by the administrators.

Its fine to have links to accept donations... we always ask that the person donates to the board, but in some instances people would like to donate to the person that helped them.. we dont make posts asking for donations, we arent begging.. its there for an option to person, not mandatory.. we are here whether we get donations or not... end of discussion.. im locking this thread, its gone way off topic. sorry lego, gotta lock it..

Retirement from the forum

Hey guys - after a crisis of conscience i have retired from the forum.
I have taken the roms with me but no doubt you will find them elsewhere.
Thanks to all those that supported me but i now believe rom hacking is not strictly legitimate and i do not wish to have my name associated with them for personal and career reasons.

I don't know why you're doing this, but I want you to know that yours ROMS are very beatiful and powerful and I'm sure you have very good reasons to do this.

see thats the diffrence. im not sharing my dailyuse rom wich would be GER ROMS or duttys wwe roms. im doing multilanguage roms for long time and released more than 35 roms.
this is not for popularity ranking not for fame im doing as contribution for all people. accept reality change your mind

Alpahazero You can always have ur opinions heard on this forum believe it or not I didnt even know tnyynt was going to make this thread to help me get some money for a new device thats what a good friend does and he also and many appreciate my work, when my devcie got screwed and model id was fkd I was asked my many to ask for donations and I still ddint,
I dont want to make a long story here just that if you are not going to be positive in the thread please dont start another long boring thread.
I also appreciate you making over 35 roms but I decided to make only wwe SO I can fully supoort it with bug fixes.

And I do agree that dutty has done a amazing job all the way from kaiser to diamond, and I am pretty sure he is gonna kick some ass with touch hd too.

Neither do I know what is being discussed here in the late posts and nor do I use either one's ROMs except my own
But I know one thing and that is Dutty's been a really talented, hard working XDAian and real good friend and very helpful in sharing his immense knowledge
I will surely donate even if I'm not using his ROMs, but not for now since I'm running a bit short on funds
Oh and yes, one last thing before signing off for now, I really dont care if Dutty uses my funds for buying Diamond or HD or anything else. I'm simply going to do it for a friend and a fellow XDAian

Yes, he also could have put the SLR Mercedes there, doesn't really mean he is buying one.
He considers, maybe, but this fundraiser is for the Diamond.

To sum this all UP I didint ask TNYYNT for requests for this thread and also for donation from others , he did it because he wanted to,
If any doubts because of mis-guided people on this forum whose only intent is just to start confusion or rumble ideas into people heads, if and when I get a new device the reciept and purchase date will be posted here in black and white for evryone.

Regarding the Announcements (http://forum.xda-developers.com/announcement.php?f=430), because i respect all the 6 red recommandations, i can add this new post and i hope the moderator won't delete it!
I open this post just to say how bad for the communtiy the ban of Alphazero is!
In fact many of us found his ROMs marvelous but still have some difficulties, some bugs (example With version v7 Fr and GPS) or simply want to discuss about them with him.
I hope this ban won't be too long and i hope that Alphazero will accept to come back here.
If it is not the case does somebody know where (site, forum, ....) he can continue or continue the wonderfull work he has started here???

i think the reason is between the Mod who did the ban and Alphazero...

I had a query with Alphazero few minutes a go!
He told me that he himself has no idea clearly why he is banned!
all it was said:
a. Non-constructive posts.
b. fighting with other XDA members.

Can't more agree.........he deserves a second chance.

I also think alphazero deserve a second chance.He really has done some very good work and was usefull for others.Hope this should be rectified by XDA mods, otherwise, people would not be encouraged to work and share things here.

but there where many things that happened.....and his luck ran out
you can only have so many chances before something has to be done.

I think "yes" becasue of this trouble we no longer have developpement on those beautifful ROMs

Banned if real fault, it's normal! For an EGO/Macho problem with another member (even a modo)...
And banned for how long?
If people are condamned, it's normal to know the sentence...
How can you demand a reduction of pain if you don't know the lenght of the ban...

I find it a real shame. People abusing their powers. I think that
aztor has done a lot for this community. I dont see any offence in his public
made comments. And afterall i do think that for doing something for the
community he has entitled also some credits for not banning for some ego war..

I don't know if he did something like that recently, but according to the following link, it seems to me that he accuses another cooker for using his work without giving him the credits, not the opposite. And seeing that AlphaZero's friends is Swtos, makes my mind go round and round like crazy...

Now, i wonder which part of AlphaZero's ROMs i would want to have? Perhaps the "Full Kernel Mode 5-7% More Speed" and "ULDR Partition Removed". On the other hand, i should give the credits to the creator (Alphazero and Swtos). But what if i don't really like them and have argued with them in the past? What if my egoism and egocentrism don't allow me that? Well, i suppose i would just had to "borrow" their work secretely...
(The last paragraph is pure fiction, of course...)

Lately we know that the Rom Cooker (Alphazero) has banned because his opinion and nothing else (Except he is a competitor).
We all appreciate all rom cooker in this forum.
But, we don't want any one of the rom cookers to stand on the surfce by letting some one down (i.e. banning the others).
This is called in the world of justice a Terror.
(Similar to Osama Bin Laden.)
And this mean the forum loses his credibility.
Then what we want that the moderator who banned alphazero to show himself if he is a man and honest. And, He shall give us the sensible reason that ca be believed.

I DONT WANT TO DO THIS!
I want to help/contribute to the site. But don't know how. I know I can donate, but when you don't have a job and need every penny that comes your way, what can you do?
I've thought of cooking ROMs, but don't know where to start.
The only other thing I can think of is offering my services beta testing.
Any idea on what I can do to help all you AMAZING developers become even more amazing?

One worthwhile way to help/contribute is by helping newbies -- at least pointing them towards the answer...and that means doing more than just saying "SEARCH!"
Think you're just a newbie yourself? There's always somebody who knows less than you. (See what the Administrator says in the Announcements in Rule #10 )

I know what you mean. There's always articles or guides that could be updated or created on the XDA wiki. Otherwise like MCbrian said just answering questions so the pros can stay on task is always good.
