So, what happens when you try?
Be specific, stating that nothing happens is not going to help. Do any icons change? Does it make mooing sounds? Does it stand up and start doing the Funky Chicken?

BT problem... comes with some of the softwares that u install...
now i usually install a s/w and try to turn on/off BT... if it does not happen.. i uninstall the same... and see the problem go away...

bluetooth light always on

hi all,
although i'm not using bt, its indicator flashes all the time any ideas?
have you tried pressing the icon for bluetooth and turning it off ?
c'mon buddy it's off and it's flashing that's why i'm asking
did you install another bluetooth stack along with the one it came with like vidcomm ?
did you install bluetooth tools ?
it's the blue one you mean right ?
nope it's like this since i installed flshthemespro
still the same although i uninstalled it
dont really know what flshthemespro is
but i guess you could try doing a full backup using activesync
and then hardreset and see if it still does it
if it does something is wrong
if it dont try restoring your backup and see if it does it still
if it does i would blame one of the programs installed
thanks pal

phone problem

Hi,
I'm from Belgium and together with some friends we bought 3 QTEK 9090 .
They all seem to have te same problem ...
Occasionally, when answering the phone ,no sound is transmitted.
I can't hear the caller and the caller can't hear me.
Does anyone has the same problem ?
Is there a solution for this annoying problem.
We already tried with other simcards from other providers but that didn't help.
Rom version is 1.22 WWE
Thank 's for any suggestions

This problem is widely known, and no fix has been successful. You must reset your phone when this happens. Apparently, turning on and off bluetooth fixes it as well.
Even the 1.40 Rom still has this issue.
Thank you for your reply.
What I don't understand is that if the problem is known, why isn't there a solution coming from QTEK ?
They must be aware of this problem also.

Hmmm, since I installed Radio ROM 1.10 I no longer have this problem (even with 1.40 ROM).
As soon as I have some time , I will try it out .
Thanks for your advice !

Um... i don't think that's vaild. I had the no sound problem with all my roms.. then... I installed 1.40... VOLA.. the phone functions again.. no "no sound" problem.... I was a happy camper for 2 weeks.... then... then.... then... 2 weeks later.. the problem came back... it came back and now it happens 2 twice a day.. just like before.
I strongy believe that is has somthing to do with the Bluetooth and the handfree profile .. cos.. when the no sound thing happens.. when u try to move the volume key up or down... there is minor sound coming from the phone speaker. Then.. when your phone is normal operation.. try using your Bluetooth handfree.. make a call... when the bluetooth headset is working normally, try picking up your phone and try to move the volume key.. the same patterns of sound comes from the phone's speaker...
Just my 2 cent..
My conclusion is that even if your Bluetooth isn't on, when a phone calls come in, the phone automaticy switch to the bluetooth headset profile and disable the speaker and mic on the unit.

New Blue Angel OS release

I tried using some files from the Jasjas OS along with some from the BA patch2, i want to know whats the worst that can happen if i try this upgrade, or can i install Jasjar update on the BA.
Face it, both specs are relatively the same.
I cant live without a BT headset, i hate using wired headset and definately hate holding the phone at my ears.
Have anybody ever tried this? What can happen?
Awaiting your replies
I just think the release or leaked BA OS is rigged to give trouble.
You could totally ruin your device. However, I think you could enter into bootloader mode and reflash to an official ROM. I suggest you wait for an answer from another person with experience.

Bind a button if you use SPB Pocket Plus you can bind "Toggle Screen" or if you use Wisbar Advance 2 you can use "Display Switch" to turn off your backlight instead of using the power button.
This workaround will solve the BT disconnection issue.
Note:
1. You have to turn OFF auto suspend device under Settings -> Power
2. If you suspend device using psShutXP, BT will Disconnected.
There the workaround solution for your BT, it's a bit troublesome but less risky than you're flashing your BA using jasjar's ROM.

bluetooth problem - URGENT!

Hey u guys! Ive got a major problem on my tytn. I have a Crc's 10.something last ROM (WM 6.1) and a big BT problem. Ive got it "on" in the comm manager, "on" in windows, both beam options on and that option "allow other devices to see me". Well the problem is that the other devices can only see me if I have the PDA on! I mean, if it is in standby mode, other devices can't find me! It becomes a big problem when I turn on my BT headset and it cant find the phone =(. Is there a way to solve this? maybe editing something on the registry?
try installing schaaps config and turning off all the power save settigns
nothing m8. No can do! everybody else can find their Hermes in standby mode?
anyone know a registry tweak for this?
Solved by removing those saving power options in advanced config

actually it didn't work. the bt doesn't go off when I put the device in standby, it takes about 3 or 4 secunds to turn it off... anyway I don't know what to do...help
Have you tried reflashing? I'm using 10.8 and it has no problems at all when it is in standby and a call comes in, or I start a call from the headset while the phone is still in standby.
If it worked briefly by changing the power settings, try doing that, then delete and recreate the partnership before doing anything else, that might work more reliably.
Yes, i already flashed 3 times! But all the ROMS come with power tweaks! My radio rom is 1.48.00.10 e I dont know if it has anything to do with... Its only the BT problem, i can receive calls and messages, everything works! Im using 10.8 either!
another thread!
you are a kind of hopless my friend
whenever you get any problem on your device, and before you try to understand what kind of problem you have, you open your mouth speechlessly, and you go directly "Hermes Mobile 6" instead of "Hermes Accessories" to post a new thread and ask a very sweet sweet question
Advice: UPGRADE -or whatever you may call it- to Nokia, SE, Sagem, Motorola or any non WM based device and forget about all these problems
That's the way it is - if it in standby, BT is off.
No fixes, patches or anything will sort it as that's just the way it is.
Sorry!

Im not sure thats right because I also have an HTC Prophet and Wizard and they can both be discoverable on standby mode! If it wasn't a possibility then why should the blue led blink in standby mode?
Feel free to disbelieve me and waste your time searching for a solution.
You asked, and I answered.
What you do with the answer is up to you.

i now see this is an all hermes issue that hasnt yet been fixed.
Although there are some registry tweaks. Does anyone know of a good one to force the BT to stay on even in suspend mode?

[Q] After update micrphone weak..?

Hi, after a clean install my mic turns out very weak.. I can hear the other side.. but the others don't hear me or very very weak.. another clean install doesn 't solve the problem
Are there some mic settings in the Touch Pro 2 for adjusting mic levels or is there a tweak, app.. HELP!!
greetss Mike
Yes. You must turn AVL (Auto Volume Level) off. You should find this under Settings.
Thnx for your replie!
Already done this .. but no positive result
Now i'm running XDANROID and the problem is solved!?
Switch back to WM 6.5 (clean) and MC doesn't work perfectly...So now i'm running my TP2 on XDANDROID
XDANDROID has the bad habit of screwing up some settings in WM, so maybe you should try to hard reset your phone and upgrade it to the latest ROM. This should fix your problem.
