NOt loading phone - P3300, MDA Compact III General

For some reason when I press the green phone button, it lights up but doesn't go to the phone. In case it was the button that was broken I re-asssigned the button and I get the same thing. If I go through the contqcts its fine and phones people but I can't get tot eh key pad page.
Any thoughts?

I think you mobile is having corrupted software. Try hard ressting your mobile.
If still not working you may need to reload your ROM

Had a friend who had this happen to him and the only way to resolve it was a hard reset. Be sure to back up your data prior to doing it as the device will be wiped clean.

Phone won't boot up

I flashed Hard SPL 1.34 then upgraded the radio to 25.05 then put on Bepe's 0.95 ROM
It worked for a while, then started to crash and needed to press the reset button to boot it up.
Now it won't move from the Touch Diamond startup screen when I boot it up, then turns off. Can't hard reset, and can't enter bootloader.
Any ideas? I just suddenly did this, also, it doesn't have the original vendor ROM on it so if I send it back, what's the chances of them getting into it and then saying a big FO because I messed with it?

What happens when you try to enter bootloader mode? Have you tried removing the battery for a while?
bootloader is volume down and reset yes?

Yes, korrect
diddly squat, not even any ROM id's coming up on boot screen. I think it's bricked
Hard reset is volume down + enter (round key) and red reset button. Keep down the first two until you see the reset screen

Can you be a little more descriptive? What exactly happens? Does the phone reset at all?
Did you hold volume down for a few seconds? Just pressing it while you hit the reset button is not enough. You need to hold it down until the tri-color bootloader appears. That's usually around 5 seconds.
Edit:
Clarification: You press volume down and hold it. Then you shortly push down the reset button with the stylus, while still holding the volume down button. You can release the volume down button after the tri-color screen appears. (or after 10 seconds if it's really not coming up)
Should it come up, you can use the chance to flash another ROM. If that's giving you trouble, see the link in my signature.
Ok, here's what happens
If I press the power button, it vibrates, Touch Diamond comes up, no ROM info, stays for a few seconds, disappears, phone is then off again.
Holding volume down, pressing reset button, nothing happens, phone doesn't power on, volume down held for 10 seconds, nothing happens
Holding volume down and action button, then pressing reset button, again nothing happens at all.
I successfully hard resetted the phone with the official ROM, but since installing Bepe's 0.95 I hadn't attempted a hard reset, but I had rebooted the phone successfully before this problem occured
Okay, in the off state the reset button will not function.
What you could try is turning it on and immediately afterwards follow the bootloder-procedure.
Also I did a quick search. The following threads might or might not be related and help you (I didn't read them, too late for me tonight):

I realize they're for different phones, but that might not make such a big difference in this case...
also, can you confirm that you successfully flashed hard-spl before this? as in, you manually went to bootloader and saw that it had changed to hard spl?
Try this....
might seem stupid but your phone is also acting as it would with a 99% flat battery........phone just starts then dies.......
Stupid question......put it on charge for a couple hours...you never know....it might be the problem you have
Well I came to start it up this morning after leaving it on a shelf all night with distain and it booted up fine.
So I'm going to flash the official ROM, and other stuff back to factory and send it back. there's obviously something wrong with it somewhere.
Thanks for all the help guys, let's hope my next diamond is a bit more well behaved.
phone does not boot up
Hi, i got a prob with my phone, when i power it on it gives me that display with the 4 colors(red, green, blue and white), i have tried hard reset but it does not help, can anyone assist.

HELP....cannot turn on my mobile after flashed a new rom (Energy Rom) into my Diamond

I flashed a new rom (Energy Rom) into my Diamond before.
After power on.......
just "TOUCH DIAMOND" on the screen
and after few seconds....
"R 1.08.25.20
G 52.44.25.24U
D 2nergy ROM" (in red colour)
appear on the right bottom screen
then stop...
It cannot run window mobile6.5 now.........how can I do???
I cannot connect to PC .......
Have you tried to manually open the bootloader, connect it to PC and than flash another rom ? (maybe the original one will help)
i had the same problem with my pro. but my pro somehow fixed itself, i just kept pulling the battery out and wait a minute then put the battery back in and turn it on then like the 12th time it loaded up very slowly so i ran to my computer and loaded another rom. but i'm sure you tried that.
have you tried a hard reset, it's differnt from each carrier i think but it's something like hold the phone upside down and press the volume down button and then put your stylus in the reset button, idk if it will work but what can it hurt. but just rememebr there is a couple differnt ways of doing it and i think it's by the carrier.
Sorry to hear that..
I would recommend a hard reset first. Do that by reseting your phone using your stylus then immediately hold the volume down button and the enter button (the round center button on your dpad).
Keep holding them until you are prompted to hard reset. Follow the instructions. After the hard reset, if your phone still doesn't boot enter bootloader manually by reseting uing the stylus and hold down the volume down and the button with the backward arrow on your dpad. Keep holding until the phone enters bootloader. Connect your phone using USB to your computer and flash a new ROM. If no ROM works, the original should work.
Hope this helps. Good Luck.
I have same problem and hard reset helps to fix that...I recomend after that to change energy rom because it can happens again...

ATT TILT 2 owned since released stuck in Boot Screen

I have a Stock TILT 2 (TP 2) never flashed running basic programs Mobile Shell never had any issues with it, haven't installed new software in a few weeks , but I soft resetted it this morning and it keeps getting stuck in the boot screen. when first turned on it will run through boot screen then load screen for a millisecond then back to boot screen and never advances again , I've tried battery out sim card out Sd card out everything, even tried hard reset , but wont allow me to hard reset with front buttons and power, is there another way to hard reset , is it possible my phone just bricked for no reason ? thanks for any help ?
have you tried to do a hard reset via the pc? the original rom is on the htc website so you can try useing the exe file there. there is also an updated rom you can try to flash there. hope that helps
You might try sending it to the bootloader screen and reflashing. I don't know if it will work, but I thought it might be worth the effort.
I did notice that HTC removed the original shipped ROM for the Tilt2. I'm sure it is floating around here somewhere. If not, I have it and can send it to you when I get home.
Thanks I have original rom and just released wont work.
dod you see anythign on teh screen? if you do, then hard reset may fix it.
Power off your phone (or take teh battery out). Then press and hold teh call and hang up button while press teh power button. it will enter the hard reset mode. (remember hard reset will erase all the info on the phone and rever tot the stock setting).

wow, thank god i dl'd it when i dl'd the updated rom... and they still have the image of the old rom right beside it... lol
as for op, you can try to enter the bootloader with the following steps
Remove the back cover from the phone.
Hold the Volume Down button.
Use the stylus to press the reset hole.
Or if the device was powered off, press the power button whilst holding down the Volume Down button.
and try to flash from there
hope that helps again

Really weird error with T-mobile s6 edge bad firmware?

So...
I was trying to factory reset my wife's s6 edge but after trying to do it from the menu the phone only turned off and after turning it on again the phone wasn't back to factory settings.
I tried using the key combination before turning it on but the screen flashed and it seemed that the phone stayed off. After several tries I started thinking the phone was actually in recovery mode but the screen wouldn't display it.
I checked a video and pressed the correct keys to factory reset it (four times down, power, seven times down power) the whole time the phone seemed to be off. But after pressing those keys the factory reset was succesful.
Now my wife can use the phone. But recovery mode is still broken and still shows noting on the screen.
Any ideas of what I can do to get it working again? This is the first time I had an s6 on my hands so I'm not sure of how to flash it or anything.
Hope someone can help
Thanks a lot

Help flashing my device

Im looking to flash my galaxy s7 active because, for some unkown reason the os is corrupt or has a virus.
I have not downloaded anything, all i did was charge it while i slept, picked it up an hour ago and the voulme keeps going down no matter if i press the key or not, the button isnt damaged the voulme menu never leaves the top of device like some ghost hand is permently holding back on the volume dunno wtf that is. I did a factory reset, that didnt fix the issue. The phone is permmently stuck in safe mode, I have tried to enter recovery mode and it gets stuck in a boot loop or opens the light blue screen with the explaination point, the only options is download custom os or cancel. I would like your help on what software i need to fix my somehow randomly damaged device.

Your phone doesn't have a virus. The fact that you already did a factory reset has already reverted your OS back to retail apps and settings, just like how you first got it.
Given the scenarios you provided, it seems that your volume down-button is indeed "stuck" internally (for some reason). Samsung's universal safe mode trigger is to "press-hold down button while booting"--since your vol-down button is stuck, every time you boot, it will always be in safe mode.
You might want to remove the phone case if you have one installed. Then try to inspect the volume down button a bit closer. If all else fails, get a replacement/warranty or something similar (if still in scope). It could be a hardware defect that just popped up.
Goodluck

It had to have been a virus or corrupt os, I restarted into recovery and flashed it to stock and it works perfectly now with no issues, the button was not stuck internally or externally, as pressing it caused no issues as well as if the device button was stuck it should have navigated the recovery menu if it was stuck. either way after flashing it works perfectly so no it wasnt stuck, and besides i have a galaxy s7 active, trying to disassemble that thing is a nightmare
