Can't use any new theme(tsk) other than the default ones!

I just find that I can't use any today theme(tsk) other than those ones included in the ROM. I copyed a new TSK file into Windows folder, and then go to Start>Settings>Personal>Today>Appearance, I can find the name of that theme, but when I selected it, nothing happens! Whatever the current theme is, it'll go to "Windows Default" theme if I select any new theme other than those included in the ROM! It's weird because I just hard-reset my Jasjar and didn't install any other applications, so it's not a third party application related probelm!
Is anyone experienced the same problem? and any solution will be appreciated!!

No one has the same problem? Maybe is a hardware problem...

Try putting the TSK file in My Documents

Strangely enough, but some work and some don't. No idea why this is.
I have attached 2 that are working. The black one goes very well with the JJ

I also have been unable to apply new tsk files.
hrb, i couldnt see any attachhments, and i was logged in, but still nothing.

Strange, I am also logged in and I can see both attachments.

works fine on my mda pro ... and Phoenity is really great ... in both, landscape and portrait ... it´s my new default theme.

Good question ! I don't know. I got these TSK Files at the SBSH Forum (Pocketbreeze) which I am using on my JJ.

I know this thread is pretty old now but I had a similar problem getting this to work. Try deleting the space between Black Panther, it worked for me.

I had the same problem !!!
I think it was with the Helmi Aku 3.2 or 3.5 ROM
don't know why, I could just select a theme but it would always be stuck on windows default.
I eventually flashed it with a newer rom, never had the problem again.

Jasjar Themes

I am not able to change the theme files for my Jasjar except from the windows default theme, imate swoosh and imate grass. If I try to change any other theme that I have in my storage card it changes the theme to windows default. I dont know where the problem is I tried coying theme files to windows directory but still it changes to the default Windows theme. Anyone else faced this kind of problem. I have formatted my device a no.of times but to no use. Pls some one help me.

Just left theme in SD card no need to copy to window directory , just go to start/setup/today and change theme what you want.

Well, that's not really the way it works.
The themes are *.tsk Files.
You have to put these in the My Documents Folder on the JJ

is your theme VGA ? or QVGA ? if your theme QVGA and from BA that's don't work with JJ.

Intellipad + Intellidialer on ETEN M600+

Hello, I'm trying to install intellipad and intellidialer on my Eten M600+
The problem is that seems the programs are in the same package!
When I try to install one of them, WM5 tells me: "You must delete Customization Tools before installing.."
So, I found out that I can install just one of them, not together...
If I install one, the other is deleted..
Another problem: When I install IntelliDialer, the skin is wrong, it uses the blue skin, but on the backgroud there is painted the orange skin.. a big mess!!
If i try to change the skin to the blue one, the intellidialer stop working.. =(

i would also like to know the answer to this one.
i installed my wi-fi card driver then installed intellipad. it prompted me to delete customization tools before installing the new one. i tapped ok but then my wi-fi card driver was deleted.
is there a way to install 2 customization tools? or is there a way around it so i can install my wi-fi driver and intellipad? thanks in advance!

Installing pocketCM themes.

I am running Artemis Touch 3.01WWE
I have been trying out Pointui and have found skins for pocketCM which is installed BY THE ABOVE rom.
i want to skin this and have downloaded a zip file with and ini file and all the png files and it tells me to put them into the pocketCM folder but I cant find this on the device anywhere.
Can anyone help a stupid fool to do this

ive got wince 3.0 but it goin to expirer and a friend on here gave me wince the portable one, but cant get it to work with my win7 64bit even after changin to run in winxp service pack3 and run as admin. if anybody could help me find one u can pm me thanks..

Try QuickCab v2.0 free!

I initially also used QuickCab but since it lacked some features (for one the ability to use a custom setup.dll was removed in version 2.0) and IABovine apparently stopped development I searched for alternatives:
Pocket PC Setup Creator - free for non commercial usage
Phone Setup Creator - not as much featured but author seems open to suggestions
Extendir Cabs - a cabarc GUI made for creating cabs for extendir
MSCEInf - excelent cab setup extractor (it preserves the file names and setup structure)
There's however no free cab setup "editor" that I know other than WinCe Cab Manager...
PS: QuickCab version 1.0 is not in the original thread so I attached it bellow.

thanks man, ive got a hex edited version of wince 3.0. does that Pocket pc creator have an expire. ?

No expiration date, nag screens or anything else... You get the complete version (almost since you can't use a custom setup.dll) not just a trial.
