Jasjar Themes

I am not able to change the theme files for my Jasjar except from the windows default theme, imate swoosh and imate grass. If I try to change any other theme that I have in my storage card it changes the theme to windows default. I dont know where the problem is I tried coying theme files to windows directory but still it changes to the default Windows theme. Anyone else faced this kind of problem. I have formatted my device a no.of times but to no use. Pls some one help me.

Just left theme in SD card no need to copy to window directory , just go to start/setup/today and change theme what you want.

Well, that's not really the way it works.
The themes are *.tsk Files.
You have to put these in the My Documents Folder on the JJ

Active User Interface on WM2005?

Is this possible? coz i cant seem to make mine work.. please help.. i want this, coz it makes ur pda really look cool.

I suppose that you mean O2 Active UI, yesits work but very slow and with many bugs. Of course , it looks nice but not work quite well. I have tryed the WM2003 version and it does not work, then I have tryed the WM5 version from Wizzard and it worked but with many bugs, universal version works too but since it's made for VGA mode you see onli 1/4 from the UI so it is unusable.If someone tweak ActiveUI from wizard it will work fine in BA

I have never supposed there is anyone using it
Does anybody know in what cab the user interface of the orange branded devices is? I downloaded the orange extended rom for the wizard, but i couldn't find anything. I think the orange UI could be nice.

Here are the extended roms rolder in ftp, download any of the O2 rar files extract it to a folder an in the extracted folder search for a file signed_Prodigy_o2AUI4_build26.cab or any cab containing o2AUI in the name

Diamond TF3D config working on Xperia X1 (tested)

I just insatlled the TF3D config on my X1 downloaded elsewhere from this wonderful forum including HD Themes and backgrounds pictures collected from the forum. It worked like charm on my X1 updated with Touch-IT X1 M-HD 1.1. Just wanted to share with all.

installed the cab file but nothing hapned

Have you tried going to Start, Settings, Today, Items then selecting the TF3D

You actually goto Start/Programs/Diamond TF3D Config
But....I've tried it and it crashes on mine with a Null reference error.

Its killed my touch screen and I cant navigate the start menu to uninstall or reset(hard)
I know I can press left and right button and soft restart = hard restart but is there a way to fix this without hard reset?

Yup, Killed my touch screen as well. Not recommended to use yet.
If you use the slide out keyboard, you can use the windows key and the d-pad to navigate to settings/system/remove programs

Try and delete the tweaks-file in the applications folder.

no problem running this on my x1

if you download the cab file from my XION ROM THREAD; THE ONE CALLED DIAMOND.... for xperia.cab it will work perect, and with the tweaks, but be carefule with the tweaks, as some work and some dont, some makes you have to hardreset the phone, and thats the performence tweaks.

If I remember correctly you have to be careful to untick TF3D from Today, then install & reset, then tick TF3D back.
Worked fine on mine EXCEPT it seems to have screwed up the "People" tab, I can't add any contact but still can access the menu (I've also added the "Comm Manager" Tab").
Anyone has the same problem? a fix??

this tools is intended for a previous version of a previous version of the first version of tflo3d that we currently have on our device... so make your conclusions.
It should works on some parts but I strongly discourage you to use it

I get an "unexpected error"
I did delete the tweak.xml file, but still get the same error.
Anyone with solutions?
I also tried Diamond...for xperia.cab, still the same error.

complete crazy... i've downloading and browsing for 2 days and still haven't get any themes for my x1. all error.. wonder why...........

[ROM][WWE][20282] NRG's 'Rose' ROM ver. 1.4

Here's a new ROM for the Excalibur cooked on the new 20282 core and the system partition from the newest HTC smartphone, the S740 "Rose".
This is a WWE (world wide English) only ROM.
Applications included in this ROM are:
- HTC Album
- Tegic T9 with English available
- TMobile Dash keyboard layout file by default
- Adobe Reader LE
- HTC Audio Manager
- Automatic GPRS settings application

This ROM includes the new sliding panels from HTC, which open up a world of opportunities for customization.
INSTRUCTIONS for flashing:
1. Run the downloaded exe. It should automatically unpack and present a black command prompt window.
2. Make sure you remove your storage card from the phone before the next steps.
3 .Follow the instructions in the black window. Do NOT reboot when the SDA unlocker tells you to reboot the phone. It's not necessary.
4. You might get a prompt asking you if you want to run the spl program. Just say yes. At that point you should get a white screen.
5. If for any reason you're not seeing a white screen, you did something wrong and you need to try again.
6. Flash the ROM following the instructions in the flashing utility.
You can expect the phone to be "stuck" on the HTC logo for about 2 1/2 minutes the first time. After that, it should only take about 40-45 seconds for the phone to reboot.
INSTRUCTIONS for recovery in case something goes wrong:
Turn your phone completely off. Pushing the camera button in, plug in your usb cable. The tricolor, bootloader screen will come up and you can flash your regular OEM ROM which can be downloaded from one of the stickies.
I recommend flashing the modified bootloader made by jockeyw2001. It's attached to this post.
What it does is, it CID unlocks your phone, so you don't have to use the softSPL everytime you want to flash a ROM. It also makes recovery from a bad flash much easier, where you dont have to hunt for your original manufacturer's ROM to load in order to resurect the phone.[/CENTER]

Hmm interesting. I installed that cab over 1.4 and the tab key DID behave like it's supposed to. I will make sure to integrate this fix in the next release (including the lite release).

I went to find the t9 file mainly because there was no predictive text showing up for me after I flashed this ROM twice. No matter the cause, this seemed to fix it up. One other thing though, the ROM doesn't seem to make any changes when I add the cpr entry to make it show the day of the week, is there something I'm doing wrong?
Last 'problem' is whenever I choose Chome slim, I never have gotten a slim programs list like I see in your screens. Does my phone hate me?

Hmmm I never use predictive text, so I guess I never noticed that anomaly. The cab should fix it though...
These new ROMs have a different system for editing CPR files. The CPR file is actually declared in the home.xml file found in application data/home. You have to edit one of those files, declare a custom cpr file and then go drop that file in the \windows directory. OR, you could just edit the HTC cpr file that are already in the windows directory.
Again, with the slim panels, you have to make sure the OS knows about them. THe easiest way is to rename the slim CPRs to the HTC cprs and just overwrite the htc cprs in \windows.

No idea... don't use it. I would assume it searches for all your stuff on the storage card. I dont know...

Well you know.. there's lite ROMs out there with just the basic apps included. I will make a light version as well as a SUPER light version with everything stripped. That way, people can just add what they need or want and that's it

Being a themer I can help you, but I need more information.
What ROM are you using (or carrier if using stock), M2d version (if installed on your own), and what theme (or installation method...cab file, zip file, m2dc file).

Have not added anything else to the phone that what was included in the ROM.
Pick any Manilla theme on this site, whether it be Cab or Zip I can't get it to work. Do i need anything?

Edit the graphic files manually,
Each time a major revision to Manilla comes out (the last one was footprints) most old themes stop working. Where everything lines up, how it's displayed, how it reacts id controlled by a file called HTChomesettings.xml. The first thing you should do after a fresh flash is find that file in your windows directory, and copy it to your SD card. That way if you corrupt it with a new theme you can back up. If that doesn't work unfortunately a hard reset is your only option.
Manila 2D version 2.0 just came out, give it time, themers will release new themes. M2DC may have to be re-written as well. If not, a theme that is made for the the newer version of Manila (NOT an old one) can be installed via cab.
If you want, post the theme you want if you have a screenshot of it (or a link to the theme itself) and I will look into making it work with 2.0.
I have attached the HTChomesettings.xml file. I had to zip it to upload directly, just unzip it and you'll have the file.

That one is very similiar to a "Titanium 6.5" theme I did a while back except with emphasis on the transparency. I'll D/L the files and get to work on it for you. Might be a theme I'd use myself from time to time as well!

That theme was made by Atoz350, not only is he an active member, he's a Vogue owner running NFSFAN's V15!!!!
If you PM Atoz350 I'm sure he'll be happy to modify his theme.

I can make a clock like that,
I'd love to remake lot's of theme's for you guys but there is a problem.
Some Themer's do not like their theme's remade if they are very unique. That theme is from Kidnamedalbert, a very talented themer who is also a moderator on this forum. It would be wrong to remake unique themes.
The one TMZ asked about is a scrabble of commonly available files. Some themers (like myself) only make partial things like clocks, icons, bars etc and make them available to everyone. The slider is from Twolf's transtab and he has let lots of guys use it in other themes.
If anyone enjoys a unique theme (Sports themes, etc) contact the original themer. I will redo tabs, icons, clocks etc as long as the original themer is someone who has let their work be shared before. I'm looking to help people, not get into trouble.

is it really that new? there's not any themes out there for it already created and not needing of a remake?
