I sometimes get that with a USB lead. Have you tried changing the USB setting in the Connections properties?
Incidently, I never had it until M$ updated the Vista drivers.....

Hello.
This is impossible.
to do this, it is necessary hardware to USB-Host.
i think there are only a few PDA whith this kind of hardware...
Does it work yet?
I would like to know if there was any success connecting USB pen drives to P3600 with Zeno USB Host Drivers and a mini USB to USB A cable?

the software is usually installed on a laptop, but i dont have enough money for one. if this can easily be ported, this could make life nice and easy!! i have a titan and vogue now, but possibly getting a touch pro 2 or hero in the future. let me know if its possible!!
the 2 programs are called

THANKS IN AVDANCE!!
Whether it can be ported or not idk...but there is software that can communicate with OBDII bluetooth interface.
Also, idk if the USB acting as a host would be able to work with this cable since there are no drivers for it.
Hi buddies, i just want to know what is the app that in the top left corner in the attached picture? I saw it many times but never know what is it! Thank you!

I think that's just the icon that let's you know USB debugging mode is enabled. Some roms disable the icon as most people who use custom roms leave it enabled all the time.
Oh...I thought it is a great app that many people are using it. Haha! Thank you brother!

usb connected and usb debugging
top left corner are both usb connector and usb debugging icon showing that they are activated. Basicly the debugging is activated in the development section. This is the "thing" you need to activate if you want to push app or other things without loading them on ur micro SD card just by plugging the phone in your computer. Or if you're programming some app without using emulators to simulate the phone.
My little cousin was playing around with my S4 Mini's USB cable and he connected the USB part with the micro USB one and just now I noticed that one of the things in the micro side is missing, see this picture:

Can you guys do me a favor and check if the second one is missing or mine is just "broken" now. Still, charging and connecting with computer works but I'm worried it may cause other issues such as establishing connections with Odin and such.
Yup, it's supposed to look like this. Read the Wikipedia entry on USB.
Second opinion reporting.
Yup mine looks like that as well.

Thanks for your replies. Feeling relieved now. :victory:
Hi there. I have some serious troubles with the usb data line of my Mi5s:
I used for a while a weak usb cable, then I replaced it and also replaced the entire USB-C port (with flat cable, mic and other stuff). But since then the phone won't be recognized from PC and OTG don't work anymore. I bought three other USB-C parts from different vendors, without results.
Now I'm connecting via USB directly to the motherboard (USB_DP as D+ and USB_DM as D-) taking Vcc and GND from the type C port. But, as always, it only recharges without any data connection.
The phone has only TWRP, no OS and empty internal memory.
OBV nothing to do in fastboot also.
There's something else I can try?
