After I flashed the rom the first thing I tried was smartdialing and it was just liked Helmi said, so I disabled it back and installed O2PhonePlus_01010606_Mystery_AllDevices, and Reset.
Then I enabled SmartDialing again and it's working now.

Thats crazy.. good discovery. I will upload the new ROM with O2PhonePlus and new instructions in 5-6 hours. I am at work right now so cant do any uploading. I have never used smartdialing or I dont know what it is. I always use my headsets voice dial feature. Just speak the phone number and it auto calls or you can speak the persons name or anything you have programmed. Whats special about smartdial?

Edit: Never mind, I found out from the o2 website. When you install this don't turn on the system smartdialer. The phonetools program comes with its own version so just let it use that. You can find options for it in the programs menu. Work's fine!

I dont know. I have a plantronics voyager 510SL plus and a motorola. As soon as i press the talk button it opens this voice dial application on the phone and then i speak the number or speak the name and it calls.
By the way are there any more interesting programs from clubimate.com or o2? this o2phoneplus is really good.

When you have the phone dialler screen up, click the menu and in there is an option labelled "Smart Dialling Options...", it's in there.

Can you explaine how you did this? Disabled O2PhonePlus and than enabled default smartdial, because mine is not working anymore even when I enable the option in the phonepad settings, thanks.
it does work for me but the smartdial of o2 active looks very bad..... and its not in accordance with the dialpad... will upload the pic tomorrow.... may b that will be more explanatory...... i suppose we will have to wait for the regular htc smartdial to work ... ( a later version or some tweak may be)

since I've updated to O2-GER WM6, and enabled the GPS Option in the registry, it's not working any more as it does in WM5. I can take photos in that mode, but when I switch to it, the GPS is not activated as in WM5, and no exif data are available.
Anyone an idea?

Ahh it would be nice if this worked out because the lat:long on the old version of gps-photo taking in WM5 was broken.
Peter? Are you saying that it doesn't ind a signal so trips out? Have you changed any defualt settings for the GPS config? eg Com 4?

Same settings as in WM5, and same registry entrys. I had hoped, that the lat/long buck would be solved, but the problem grows.
In WM5, you could see, that GPS would be enabled, if you change to that camera mode. - Flasching GPS-LED and runnig dots in the lower right corner of the screen during GPS.sync. That doesn't occur since WM6

Meanwhile I've found a workarround with the internal funktion.
The lat/long bug semms to be solved!
First I've enabled the P9 camera funktion.
When I start the camera the first time, a screen appears, where I am asked, where to store the images. It doesn't matter what I choose, but the 'don't show this message again' should not be marked.
When I now choose the GPS Exif mode, it works.
When I start the camera a second time, it wont work, if the screen where to store the images doesn't appear. So I have to choose the internal memory in the upper task bar. Closing the canmera and starting again, the desired sceen appears again, and the GPS funktion is working.
I've tested it with the O2Ger WM6

Take the registry file, I've posted in #4, and add it to the xda registry, and in the camera menue is the GPS mod enabled. But ther is another bug in WM5, so You got a position error in east-west direction up to 1/2 mile

You need a registry editor like Resco Registry
Go to HKLM/ Software/Htc/Camera/P9
and set enable to '1'

still doesn't work, i see the exifcamera icon in the setting of the cam and yes enabled the p9..but gps doesn't start. no blinking orange left led.

i did it, but it didn't worked...so i tried it again.
i went with resco to the key and yes it was already enabled. so i put again 1 in de key and saved it over and damn NOW IT WORKS!
just one time till you turn the cam off (you can take as many pictures if you like), so as i understand it, everytime you want to do it you have to save the key again to use it.

Well you also need to go in the camera settings and change the mode to "GPS Photo". Why on earth was GPS photo disabled on the O2 Orbit!!! They missed a massive opportunity there I think.
Ok, I decided to write new thread because most of the rom makers I pm to didn't answer me at all. Some kind of secrets or whatever. I think we should help each other to improve our ROM's but maybe I'm wrong.
I have some issues in my owe ROM which I can't really fix. Maybe someone will know the solution
1. Some ROM makers wrote in their changelogs that now CommMgr is really closing without being on the process list all the time? How?
2. I'm using EZinput keyboard 2.0.33633 full qwerty and two keyboards should be available: full qwerty and phone keyboard. Only the first one is present in the system (the second one now is standard MS keyboard instead of phone keyboard 2.0 EZinput). Why? I changed the EXT package many times to make sure it's ok and all the time the same issue...
3. Is there a working method to change system rings to wav? Every time I do it then they doesn't work. Do I have to change also some registry value?
4. Windows Media Player dosen't play any videos. I changed mHub and mHubVO into some other versions but still no efect. What else could be the reason?
That's all what I'd love to know to make my ROM better

I know how to manually switch between those keyboards using registry entries [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\ezsip]
CurrentSIP set to a00 is Phone Keypad and d00 for fullQWERTY. But still it's impossible to change it in menu (WM6.5 21725)
That's all I want to share with, maybe it will help someone. Should I expect some respond? I don't think so :]

Dude, about the comm manager, I don't know which version of comm manager are u using. But I got my comm manager working good n closing when clicked on x button. All I can say is don't use any new version like 2.8 or topaz comm manager. Use the 2.7.1.4 version. It's OG diamond comm manager n works nice. I'm using the same version.

Did u try the GEN Y sip menu..??
I heard someone there saying that if we have the touchflo installed, then only we can change between the phone pad n qwerty board. But touchflo brings some more diff probs elsewhere.

nope its not only that, u definitly need the touchflo package, but that package conlicts with wm 6.5
the only thing we can do is wait for HTC to bring out its first WM 6.5 rom for diamond2, then we can take the new touchflo or ezinput package from that rom
about the windows media player issue, make sure u have the DShow OEM in your rom

u should also check the following drivers in OEMDrivers:
- qtv.dll
- qtv_mp4_decoder.dll
try replacing those drivers

And again some damn issues in my kitchen
For last two days I was looking for the source of why my Face down mute ring stopped working. In registry everything is fine. Exept of registry, is there any dll library or something responsible for that? Also when I'm in windows file explorere and want to copy the file from IS to main memory (I do tap on "Copy")and then tap on the menu to choose the location then it crashed.
Any ideas for soulution those two problems?
PS. One more thing I forgot... I used to have my clock and calendar to set up automaticly the date and time after HR but now it seems to be gone... Is it up to network type currently using? GPRS/3G? Or maybe some registry value?

Thanks dude but it doesn't work. I was trying with both, 0 and 1 to make sure but still no effect. Friend of mine checked some others 6.5 ROM's and it seems that it doesn't work in any of them.
I found out that automatic time and date set works only if 3G/SHDPA network is available. So this question is out of date.
If anyone find the solution with face down mute ring then please let me know.
Another issue that I was hoping to solve is contact list popping up every time after SR. So in titanium softkeys registry I changed SK1URL into HTCActionScreen. And now... HTCActionScreen popping up every time after SR. Any solution for that?

The Opera browser does it automatically. For everything else, practically every TP2 owner has installed 'Gyrator 2' or 'screenChanger' (my favourite), which are free apps utilising the G-Sensor. They run pretty much silently and allow you to configure which programs you want to rotate etc.
Get the TP2 - You know you want to.
Yes. But only by sliding out the keyboard. You can use the G sensor, but then you have to adjust the registry.
Theres a reg hack to enable the change orientation function to be shown in the screen to change button assignments. So you can set when you hold down the send button it changes to landscape mode. And you don't have to pull out the keyboard!
I can't remember what it was mind.. but it's on these forums somewhere.

changeScreen does a better job of hiding itself than Gyrator. One day I'll use the reg hack, but I'm still in the tinkering stage where I can't make up my mind about what programs I want to rotate, so it's easier for me to use the program option right now.

That is correct. However, mine starts itself at startup and you can tell it to minimise when it starts, so you don't need to worry about starting it up all the time. It also doesn't use much memory, so you don't need to worry about that either.

Look in many of the threads already here. In general, you can say that all the official PDA releases work. These are 8.3.2.64029, 87762 and 97313. (Maybe more). With these versions a very basic sys.txt (as supplied with these versions) will work, as long as you add:

sdcard_dsk_num=7
(It took me three days to find this out...)

I had problems getting mine to work also. All I did was a fresh install, nothing edited in sys.exe, but I replaced data.zip with a newer version and it seems to be working fine!
I am ruining 8.3.2.93122 and it runs just fine.
Just to confirm it runs ok with version 8.3.2.1972 on the TP2 with these settings in sys.txt

In fact, what does it mean ?
I guess it's giving iGO the correct location of the sdcard i.e. disk number 7.
(I'm also guessing) The other 6 disks will be internal storage/ROM/backup ROM/etc.

What regional settings are you using?
For me strangly enough I found that when my local are set to anyting other then English iGo doesn't find the GPS receiver.
So try changing local to English UK or the like (might need a restart).
Then go to iGo GPS settings and run the automatic scan for GPS device.
It worked for me.
Once the GPS receiver is found you can change the Regional settings back to whatever you had before.
IGO8 Problem

I've got a IGO8 problem too. I've got the same version as up here. (The last version with a working TTS)
When i've touch flo 3d turned off (and using the basic windows mobile start screen) is IGO8 working perfect.
After turning on the touch flo 3d is igo working for a short time, but after an hour, when I try to start the application ==> I will get a error. I will get this message 1/2 second after pressing the igo icon and before I can see the loading screen.
the error is: "Failed to reserve virtual address space"
Can anybody help me to let it working with touch flo 3d? Or can somebody explain what the problem is?

But is there an another solution to get it working without resetting the device or disable the TF 3D?
It must have a (Simple?) reason becouse it will work after a reset but not anymore after some time...

i am using the same sd card from my tp1 (nothing changed). igo 8.3 is working perfectly.

Hi emanuel,
I've got version 8.3.2.93112. But also problems with TTS now. When I set the voice in IGO to a basic version (non TTS), close igo, reboot, start igo and set it to a TTS ==> it's working. but after shutting it down and restarting ==> TTS is not longer working. (And after a day, IGO cannot be started anymore and the device had to soft reset to let IGO run again...
