Hi Guys !!
I am a new user of windows mobile tech. Few days back I purchased sfr s300+ which is same as HTC p3600.
My Problem: I got the operating system in french ... I want to change it in english. I tried to install (flash ..if it is same ) some of the version given on the website. It starts flashing.. and after 1% I receive Error message.... Invalid Vender ID ..
"This Update Utility cannot be used for your PDA Phone. Please check your Update Utility."
I understand this rom is for HTC and I have sfr s300+ .. is this reason. What should I should ... please help me out.

I would like to upgrade my O2 XDA EXEC Rom to imate JasJar Arabic Rom Build, is that possible??

Also after upgrading your universal you can download Carrier's related file from clubimate which will have the info about their network settings.
I had a problem in updating my kjam
i try to update the kjam it says
"ERROR [294} Invalid Vender ID
This Wpdate Utility Cannot Be Used For Your Pda Please Check Your Update Utilty"
the problem is that the language is diffrent and i dont know which language it is i want it in english so i try to update with the newest version
from imate official site and it not working
is there any way that i can convert it to English Language
is there any English Language Patch For That Please Post It

Hi there,
Have you actually got an I mate k jam? Or is it a variant?
I had a mda vario a variant and got that error initially? But then I used the wizard unlock tool, this abled me to unlock my CID, I was then able to install the kjam official rom upgrade.
I would reccomend you locj your CID, then you will be able to update. There is whole thread on it under the unlock tool thread. About the second age.
i got the i mate k-jam when i soft reset it shows me the i-mate screen
the handset is not locked i am using my sim card
Very strange.
I would try and download the rom again. Also use the cid unlocker just in case.
where do you people get the I mate ROM's?
I have a vario but can't seem to find the ROM.
I've allready SIM unlocked it allready.
can someone PLEASE help me get a ROM?

I need help to upgrade qtek 9000. I had bought this pda three days ago. There is installed the german version of windows mobile 5.0 . How can i change the rom to have a english version? Cause i try to use the JasJAr WWE 11353 version of the Rom, but the program stop itself and write that the version of the rom is not correct. Where i can found the correct version for my qtek? How can i change the language, cause the software error is: Country ID error 120. Many thanks

You need to File MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe to your problem

i have the same problem with my p3300
-> language now is italian and i want
change a german or english version...
when i tried it (of course with uspl) i get also
the "ERROR [244]: INVALID MODEL ID"...
i searched for a long term through the threads
but didn't find anything (or didn't see it)...
please give "us" a hint to manage this...

It's no problem to install any cooked rom but if
I try to flash the original HTC WM (English, German) then
always the same error occur.

Hi guys anybody can help me to change my WM 6.1 on this HTC VPA IV( HTC HERALD) . This was a vodafone sim locked but now its sim free but i cant upgrade anyhow,and it is german and i would love to have an english op sys on it because i ain't got a clue what this device saying to me.
I have downloaded the HTC_P4350_WWE_4.17.405.2_4.1.13.44_02.94.90_Ship, but it wont work for me ,always getting an error message, invalid vendor id .
HOW TO SOLVE THIS?
Please help me guys.If it's possible, clear step by step instructions as i am a newbee.
