I need help to upgrade qtek 9000. I had bought this pda three days ago. There is installed the german version of windows mobile 5.0 . How can i change the rom to have a english version? Cause i try to use the JasJAr WWE 11353 version of the Rom, but the program stop itself and write that the version of the rom is not correct. Where i can found the correct version for my qtek? How can i change the language, cause the software error is: Country ID error 120. Many thanks

You need to File MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe to your problem

I have a iMate pocket pc, and I updated to 1.72 wwe, I found my ppc has serial v1.06! I dont want the V1.06 because I want downgrade to CHINESE version. But I tried to flash it through sd card, it didnt work! I urgently want use chinese , anyone can help me to change my iMate 1.72 wwe to chinese rom( i have chinese rom already)???
Note: mine is v1.06( I heard this version can not downgrade),,but i still want to ask anyone who may have a idea!!

quite easy . use er2003 to edit , the chinese rom to WWE I/O CHT , t-mobile i/o O2, and upgrade , i did several times..fm Chinese to english , english to Chinese

Hi guys
plz i am in a need of help
i upgraded my xda imate pocket ppc to WM2003SE, and i want to downgrade to the version 1.72 (the official version)
i did downloed the CDL.zip file and when i used it , an error message says Error Country code 120, check rom version.
and that's it, i can't downgrade at all, my ppc is unstable at all on Wm2003SE
so plz anyhelp.
n.b: i live in Egypt and my network operator is vodafone Egypt.

i try to update the kjam it says
"ERROR [294} Invalid Vender ID
This Wpdate Utility Cannot Be Used For Your Pda Please Check Your Update Utilty"
the problem is that the language is diffrent and i dont know which language it is i want it in english so i try to update with the newest version
from imate official site and it not working
is there any way that i can convert it to English Language
is there any English Language Patch For That Please Post It

Have you actually got an I mate k jam? Or is it a variant?
I had a mda vario a variant and got that error initially? But then I used the wizard unlock tool, this abled me to unlock my CID, I was then able to install the kjam official rom upgrade.
I would reccomend you locj your CID, then you will be able to update. There is whole thread on it under the unlock tool thread. About the second age.
i got the i mate k-jam when i soft reset it shows me the i-mate screen
the handset is not locked i am using my sim card

I would try and download the rom again. Also use the cid unlocker just in case.
where do you people get the I mate ROM's?
I have a vario but can't seem to find the ROM.
I've allready SIM unlocked it allready.

Hi, I'm looking for the newest GER Rom for my Universal. At the moment I usw 1.20.34 GER with Radio 1.06. Has someone a download link for the newest GER Rom for me? Jwrightmcps 1.31.79 is only avaible in WWE at the moment But I still kepp the hope heÄll release a GER one

i´ve read much about updating ROM on my universal within the last few weeks...
i figured out - for me personally - the qtek ROM (1.3x.xx) is the one i want.
do you know if its possible to flash a t-mobile branded one with a qtek ROM or will i get into deep trouble?!

Hi!
I did it. But its a litte hard: I downloaded this app: http://buzzdev.net/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=65&Itemid=1 runned it on all 3 free files from the latest T-Mobile update, wrote down the Tags (Language etc) and afterwards I entered those informations into the Qtek update. So the update "beliefes" to be for a MDA pro...
I did it too I downloaded the last German version for Qtek 9000 (1.30.96) and installed it with the MaUpgradeUt_noID utility. I use the new version since 5 days now and it´s a lot more stable now and some extra features with it. I only updated the ROM and the Radio Version, not the extended Rom.

On the hp page there is a new ROM 1.12 (english) for my ipaq. I am interesting with this due to a lot of fixes... The problem is that I have the polish ROM (plk). I have nothing against polish but I would like to upgrade the ROM and I prefer english How to do this?

i've just got a toshiba e350 ,the rom version is 1.0305.0404, dated: March 5 2003, the problem is that it is in portogues,how do change it to english. i can bearly find my way around. i tried micosoft but could not get any language service packs on the site. someone please HELP!

First, sorry for my bad English.
I have used this hpRUU to upgrade mi hp iPAQ 6815 from English to Dutch
version and i used Sp35820.
So my Office is Dutch on this moment.
And everything on my PDA is Dutch.
I am very happy with this, it runs like hell...thanks.
But now i have a problem.
I attempt to upgrade Office to a newer version but when i use Dutch then i have an error.
Now i was looking in the hpInventory in the PDA and there i can see:
language: English(WWE) (Taal: Engels (WWE))
Is there a possibility to solve this ?
I want to upgrade Office with the Dutch version.
Or maybe there is a possibility to put WM6 Dutch version on my PDA.
On this moment it is WM5.

downgrading my bootloader from 1.05 to 1.0.0.1
on my rw6815 witrh a german file!
The patch of the hpruu.exe didint´t function on my system.
OK i´ve bought a new minisdcard and then easy as 1 2 3 wm 6.5 on 6815...
next i hope of android on 6815....to be contiued
